Recently the annoying issue are other ticket holders who just decide to sit wherever they want on the off chance the seats remain unreserved and open. Weird employe (male; 5,8; he has a ponytail) stalked us in our theater because we couldn't see the movie we payed for, so he made us switch our movie. Then he walked in and out of our new theatre a total of 11 times, and when I'm texting my friends which are on the other side of the theatre because there were no seats next to each other, he looked over me and looked at my text messages. Then he tried to confiscate my phone, and when I said no, he got all defensive. The regal was not the problem, but I could see the employee looking at me from the exit door. Also, not to mention, he FOLLOWED ME INTO THE BATHROOM. Again, not regals fault, but I was genually disturbed by this guy. This was a horrible and very disturbing experience and this weird employee will drive customers away especially minors because he showed predatorial activity. read more

$5.00 movie passes on a Saturday night and power reclining seats? Can't beat that! We went to a 9:50 pm show and the ticket booth was closed and had to buy tickets at the concession stand? Just received a refund email for tickets for a movie showing. It's not a usual movie, it's a show that only runs at two times. My friend and I selected the date/time and she's flying in. Based on the movie tickets, we made plans for the other days. Now the movie is suddenly canceled and we cannot go to the other date b/c we bought tickets to an event. Very disappointed that this was canceled and this is the second time Regal has done this. I recently visited Regal Stadium 12 in Moorestown, New Jersey, and unfortunately, the experience was compromised by unprofessional conduct from management. My family and I pre-purchased tickets through a military-affiliated platform (USAA). As this was our first time using this method, we were unfamiliar with the seat-assignment process and were directed to the concession stand for assistance. Several issues arose while attempting to scan and process the tickets. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, the cashier--who would also benefit from additional customer service training--requested assistance from the manager on duty, Brianna. From the outset, Brianna's demeanor was rude, condescending, and dismissive. It became clear that only four tickets had been processed, although five were required. When I inquired about purchasing an additional child-priced ticket, Brianna quoted a price higher than what was available through USAA and responded curtly when this discrepancy was noted. She repeatedly told the cashier, "You're going to have to wait. I guess she's going to purchase her coupon tickets," delivering the remark in an annoyed, sarcastic, and belittling tone. More concerning, I overheard Brianna state to the cashier, "People make things so much harder than what it is," a comment made within earshot and clearly directed at my family. This demonstrated a troubling lack of professionalism, discretion, and respect. At a time when movie theaters are experiencing reduced attendance, one would reasonably expect customer service to be a top priority. Instead, we spent approximately $100 to watch a film in a largely empty theater while receiving unacceptable customer service. Out of respect for my children, I did not address the situation immediately. After the movie, I requested to speak with Brianna and informed her that I was aware of the comment and would be following up with upper management and corporate. At no point did she deny making the remark. Instead, she deflected by stating when "Jason would be back to work," to which I responded that I was already aware. Her response was again dismissive and failed to address the concern. After reviewing several recent customer complaints, it is clear that this is not an isolated experience. Regal Stadium 12 would greatly benefit from improved customer service and leadership training for its management staff. This experience fell well below what one would reasonably expect from a Regal Cinema location. read more

The theatre was clean, the sound was awesome, the picture was great, the seats were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean which you do not always find to be the case. The only downside was the price. I paid $32.00 for 2 Senior tickets which was a little steep for the experience but the Butt kicker seats were a great novelty. You have a multitude of restaurants in the immediate area surrounding the movie theatre to choose from. They had 24 different theatres with various picture type offerings & various pricing to boot. I highly recommend a visit to this place. read more

Although I am more of an AMC theater goer, this movie theater is one of my favorites. This has to be one of the best Regal theaters in South Jersey. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It was nice to finally get back into the movie theater without any mandatory "Phil Murphy's overreaching mask mandate" policy. This theater has always been kept in good shape; from cleanliness to upgrades in amenities. It appears they are keeping it extra clean for COVID now. The recliner seats which are also reserved seating--similar to a ball game--are great. No more "Splitsville" and aimlessly trying to find the last two seats in the joint!! Lastly, who doesn't like move theater popcorn when watching a flick?? P.S. Tickets must be purchased at the concession stand or on the Regal App. No staff is manning the ticket window. read more

Congratulations Regal 12! You've cured me permanently of EVER going to a movie theater again. We first sat through 40 minutes of tic-inducing LOUD advertising; some were repeated three times. After a couple of previews, then the movie itself: with screeching sound that reduced many audio parts to mumbling. That is, when it didn't rise to almost deafening levels during the few action scenes --- and this was a WWII-era thought-filled drama, or supposed to be. I could not WAIT to get out of this theater. Here's a tip, Regal Theaters --- and Hollywood: charge us more. NOBODY wants to sit through ANY advertising before the movie they paid to see (except for maybe 2-3 previews). I don't want Pepsi, McDonald's or go to a local jeweler or a local hospital. If I hear that you will give us an ad-free movie experience --- and decent audio --- I WILL pay more, to rescind my lifetime self-ban from Regal. read more

Went to see WICKED 2 days ago. Seats and sound were fine, but the picture quality was AWFUL. I expected all of the colors to be bright and really POP but everything appeared washed out and you could see the grain of the movie screen in light areas. Similar to a lower quality LED TV screen if you sit too far to the right or left. Is it just me? read more

I give NO STARS but had to put a star to post a review. Arrived at 10:50a for an 11a show. Ordered food at the concession counter. I got a cheeseburger plain, pepperoni pizza, medium popcorn, medium Icee & a gatorade. The girl who took our order wasn't sure if they even served cheeseburgers & I told her it was on the menu behind her. She was not aware that they served cheeseburgers. She repeated our order and said we wanted the cheeseburger with no cheese. No not correct so I repeated I wanted a cheeseburger plain. So I paid for the order & she brought back the popcorn and said our food would be brought back over at the end of the counter. I explained that we didn't get our Icee. So she went and got it. Then we went & waited for our food. We waited for awhile before I asked the guy at the entrance checking tickets how long the previews were for our show because i didn't want to miss the beginning. He said that the previews would be played for 30 mins. I proceeded to wait for our food. The pizza comes out overcooked with barely any cheese and burnt. Then we waited for the cheeseburger and fries that came with it. I asked another employee how long the previews would be for our movie because I didn't want to miss any part of the movie. She explained that it would be 30 mins of previews. Finally the cheeseburger came out & it was 11:20 we rushed to our seats & the movie already started & we missed the beginning of the movie. This was my first time coming to this theater with my kids. The service & food was horrible. Definitely overpriced for what we received. read more

Yowza, $13 pp to get tickets online for IT after all was said and done. The seating was actually very nice - as always, you can play with buttons to see if you feel like sitting like you're on a recliner or laid back fully with your knees up as if you're having a pelvic exam at the gyno's. This Theater is probably one of the best in the area but they have a couple issues. First, you have to buy tickets at the concession stand if you didn't buy online (if you're redeeming a free movie ticket reward, you have to buy tickets in person) so that means even if you don't want concessions you have to wait in line. Which maybe wouldn't be a problem if you wanted one of the five items they've reduced their menu to. They used to also sell coffee but they apparently no longer make coffee. It all makes me wonder, why am I bothering with the hassle of going to the movies where they only offer limited items when I can make my own popcorn, brew some coffee and enjoy a movie, without someone nearby using their cell phones, from the comfort of my own home? Maybe for a big release in RPX (Matrix 4, maybe) but otherwise, I'll just wait a few weeks. read more

Good seats (though they *could* lean back a touch more), good screens, good sound...but man, they have/hire/staff the SLOWEST concession people I have EVER had the displeasure to deal with. It's so bad that I recommend showing up, I kid you not, at LEAST a half an hour early unless you dont care about missing the trailers in addition to the first five to ten minutes of your feature. Purchased tickets to an RPX movie and all that was available were the front 2 rows. We asked if the seats were as close to the screen as the non RPX movies & was told it wasn't that close so we got the tickets. As we walked in to find our seat we found they were directly in front of the screen. Not watchable in any form. We went to customer service and they gave us seats a few rows back in the handicap area (informing us we may need to get up if the seats are need). That was super appreciated but a total inconvenience since we asked prior to purchasing tickets and we would have just seen a different movie to avoid this entire scenario. Honestly the first 3 rows shouldn't even be an option because the view is so terrible and the price is the same for not being able to see the screen properly! The chairs aren't as comfortable and don't recline as nicely as the other Regal's in the area. On the positive side it is conveniently located in the mall so those who don't want to shop have something to do & it is very clean! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! read more

I came here at 7pm last night and I have never seen a movie theater so filthy in my life. Trash overflowing onto the floor and floors filthy. Seriously there was so much popcorn smushed into the carpet that it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days. Meanwhile, there were employees just standing around talking to each other. Management needs to do their job and make sure their employees are on top of this stuff. I'll be going to AMC Marlton next time where I won't be surrounded by filth. read more

Having this theatre nearby is really a nice option but would never be my first. Reclining seats are always a plus right? Not when they are as narrow as general admission seats. Overall, this theatre is clean and with it being newer, it should be. I still prefer the AMC reclining seats but I appreciate the new layout of the theatres. Before the renovation, the seating was pretty much on flat ground vs the normal stadium setting which made it hard to see the screen if you sat all the way in the back and it was rather annoying when people got up during a movie. While you have the option to purchase tickets online, this theatre is not usually very busy. Unless it's a blockbuster I would say you are safe purchasing on-site. Being attached to the Moorestown Mall, parking can be hard to find unless you don't mind running a marathon to get to the front door. Being attached to the mall, makes it easy to grab a drink before and walk back to the theatre. Also, the food court is right next to it. If all other theatres are sold out then I might come here otherwise they have not won my loyalty. read more

I actually kind of like this theater. It's sparkling clean which is such a rare find amongst theaters. Maybe that's because it's new? I seriously hope the maintenance here doesn't go down hill. The seats aren't so bad and it's stadium seating, I found it spacious enough even in a smaller theater. The only real problem is that the set up of the theater leads to big bottle necks and long wait times in lines. There's only one line at the front box office and only one line for concessions as well. Of course there's multiple cashiers, but the initial wait is brutal and if you don't seize the moment the line will only grow and grow. I don't mind this place, it's pretty average but it's cleanliness puts it above the rest. Let's hope that doesn't end. read more

Maybe I'm crazy but it seems prices here are bit better than the AMC/Loews. Seating is very comfortable with good view lines everywhere. And they're upgrading to recliners this year. Awesome! There are kiosks in the lobby to buy tickets. So don't wait in line at the box office since it moves soooo slow. I like that their movie club is free as opposed to AMC. I like the concession line. It moves so much faster than Loews in Cherry Hill. The one thing I hate is that it's impossible to know the prices. Their enormous video board rotates through ads and only briefly shows the prices. And they don't show the combo prices. Maybe I'm missing something. I still prefer the AMC in Marlton. But once this gets the recliners this will probably be my favorite theater in the area. read more

While this is hopefully the first of many new theatres to open in the Philadelphia area (we need them!), new doesn't exactly equal best. While this is worlds better than the hulking Cherry Hill Sadplex, and certainly several orders of magnitude better than the United Artists that stood on the site, something feels a little off about this place. I haven't noticed the chokepoints, mostly because I've come at times when business was slow (and I always use the self-serve ticket machines). I'm not surprised that they apparently exist, either, because for some reason in 2014 they can't put self-serve butter stations in a new theatre. (And no, I am not going to bitch about the prices. They're high because they don't get most of the movie ticket.) Theatres seat around 150-300 people. The big house, or the "RPX", seats about 350. The RPX doesn't impress me - it simply seems like an excuse to charge more for the biggest house, like, sadly, most of the newer IMAX conversions. In other words, don't expect much other than a higher ticket price. Additionally, none of the theatres have adjustable masking - meaning, the screen doesn't get bigger (or smaller) if the movie was shot in scope (in other words, would have black bars on your HDTV). This might not matter to most folks, but digital cinema can't project pure black and the letterbox look was noticeable to me all night. When Regal was building this, its competitors were improving. Movie Tavern opened in Collegeville. Cinemark remodeled the Somerdale location and added their take on IMAX/RPX, which does a better job at a lower price. Carmike took over the Ritz and is refurbishing it. And, of course, anyone who's been to AMC Marlton or AMC Deptford would argue that the "premium experience" they offer is more tangible than Regal's. Most of all, though, even when people are in this place.... the Regal Moorestown feels strangely dead. Inert. Soulless. Which doesn't exactly entice me to come back. read more

First the Pros: Recently remodeled, very nice and modern looking, compared to the old setup, the theater seats are really nice, padded, high back seats that recline slightly, no nothing like a recliner at home, but, not the stationary mass transit bus style seats either. The arrangement of the theater viewing setup resembles a smaller version of IMAX. Regal Premium Experience(RPX), is what Regal call their version. Now the Cons: There are two choke points, the ticket window, there are 3 windows, only two were open, the line to purchase tickets was long. You need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your movie starts, it took about 10 minutes to get tickets, even if you purchase tickets online, you still have to wait in line to submit voucher to be allowed into theater, there was no express line for those that used this method. Wait in line like everyone else that is paying at the ticket window. Once you get your ticket(s), you aren't free and clear yet. If you wish to buy snacks, you are now at the second choke point. There is only one counter that serves refreshments, 1/2 of it is for ordering, the other 1/2 is the "waiting area", you hang out here until your order is ready for pickup. This took 10 more minutes. Once you get your stuff, now you can proceed to your assigned theater. I mentioned getting there 30 minutes early, this applies to opening weekend releases. The theater is in the mall. 10 minutes to find parking and get to the ticket line, 10 minute wait to get tickets, 10 minutes to get food. You are now ready to walk to your assigned theater to find a seat or two. read more

This Regal theatre is conveniently located at the Moorestown mall surrounded by a ton of great restaurants and plentiful parking. Came here last night on a date night and was thoroughly surprised this location had assigned seating. Also the seats were extra large and reclinable. Tickets for a standard movie was $12. I've seen a few movies here since the reconstruction. I am very impressed with the reconstruction- everything from the ticket box to the bathrooms is wayyy nicer than it used to be. The box office is still located outside the theater in the mall near the food court. Once you head inside the theather- you'll enter a huge lobby with an even bigger concession stand. The concession stand offers more than just the typical popcorn, soda, and candy which is nice. The food is pretty expensive- but most movie concession stands are. The popcorn is good- if you like it buttery make sure you ask them to layer the butter. I would give this movie theater more stars because of how nice it is- but I had to take a few stars away because of their "RPX" scam. Apparently they have special RPX theaters which offer better sound quality and a better screen- this comes at an extra charge of $5 per a party. I thought this was a complete rip off. Sure the screen was big- but all movie theater screens are! I would suggest avoiding any movies that are shown in RPX as it is not worth the extra cost. read more

We have been to this theater before and enjoyed ourselves. However, my husband has been dying to see an RPX movie, which we did yesterday. The movie It. We paid $5 extra per ticket for seats that shake at appropriate film intervals and sound that almost broke my eardrums. I was actually envious of my mom who had the ability to turn down her hearing aides, but said it was still pretty loud. Seats seemed smaller than the regular theaters, and didn't recline at all. The screen was big, but since most movies are not shot in 70mm, that screen is seldom used to its best advantage. Due to the extremely high volume, I would not suggest this theater for young children or anyone over 30 who values their ears. $5.00 extra for tickets. Not sure of my copay for the audiologist. Stick with the regular theater options for your safest and most comfortable moviegoing experience. read more

I really enjoy this theater. I had never been to this particular theater before they renovated it though, so I can't comment on the way it "used" to be. Looks can be deceiving though, it looks like a SMALL theater from the front but it is not. Very large with lots of movie options, a really nice concession area with better than average menu options. (Think sandwiches and fries, etc) And for whatever reason we really like their popcorn better than AMC.... The bathrooms are always nice and clean and large enough to be accommodating without much of a line. Most times not even a line. (Marlton 8 has the smallest bathrooms ever, like 3 stalls each lol) The employee's are generally nice, if a theater isn't ready and you sit at a table in the concession area they will come tell you when it's ready, etc... However at least in theater 8, I couldn't see over the railing on the top row. lol This theater is pretty small, only two rows on the back section of the theater so even the back row is great seating. But I'm kind of tiny. Kid's size even. lol (Only 5 feet tall.) So if I can't see over the railing, I know most kids and teens wouldn't be able to either. It was somewhat distracting at first but once the movie started it wasn't MUCH of a problem. Still had trouble seeing the bottom of the screen..... Another review said the seats are not good if you are too tall. So apparently Regal only thought of "average" sized people when renovating this theater. lol ( I should mention that II did NOT have this problem when sitting in the first row of the back half of the theater on a different visit. It's just the back row.) We love the new leather reclining seats, they don't go ALL the way back like other places but I'm ok with this. You also can't raise the middle arm rest creating a love-seat type of effect. Which we like to do, but not a deal breaker. One thing that really annoys me and this has always been a problem at ALL Regal cinema's, even before the renovations and now still after.... Is that a Large size soda does not fit in the cup holders. lol WHY? Why didn't anyone think of this. AMC corrected this problem when they put in the new seats..... It's again annoying but not a deal breaker. All in all, we really enjoy this theater, it's in a great location and it's comfortable and an enjoyable night out. (Also, the birthday party room is ADORABLE if you have a kids party, this would be a good option!) read more
