Code 3 is the most professional organization I have ever experienced. This year, I enrolled in their online course, which made it easy to learn the written portion of the certification. My hands-on training took place in Camarillo. I felt a bit nervous walking in because I am now 80 years old and a disabled combat-wounded veteran. However, I was greeted by a gentleman named Joe, who welcomed me with a big smile and was very kind. Turns out he was the owner.

I really think it's important that people take this, cause you'll never know when someone is gonna be in need, and you can be that person that saves someone's life. The class cost about $100 and I felt accomplished after taking the course. CPR is harder than it looks, and I'm sure if the time ever came where I needed to perform it, it would be nerve wracking.

The class size is small (8-10) & the class room is comfortable & conducive for learning. Instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable & forthcoming with educational information, engaging & ensures questions are answered. Highly recommended this business run by a retired nurse educator & her sons (since 1984). Students (us) are each given time to demonstrate hands on CPR using dummies & also using an AED. In all the years that I've recertified, I've not encountered an instructor like Lea, so energetic & passionate about teaching. She's additionally given many FYI's & fascinating tidbits of real-life situations to incorporate into the lessons. We watched videos to enhance our refresher course. Joey was our BLS instructor (Lea's son), he is also an excellent teacher. This was a referral from one of my co-workers & I'm glad I chose them over my over instructors in Whittier. The communication was through emails & they even texted the students the day before to remind about this upcoming class. It's on the 2nd floor & this building has a designated free parking. Will definitely return when I need recertification in two years. Easy, breezy, NO STRESS, I love it!!!! Again, I must admit, I will recommend this place to anyone needing recertification.
