As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by a staff member by the name of Scott he was nothing but professional and courteous I am a amputee and I wear a prosthetic leg and needed extra help and suggestions on my purchase to fit my special needs. he took time with me and helped me from start to finish. even the manager was polite and helpful. do to the exceptional way I was treated I returned yesterday to make another purchase and was treated with the same respect and professionalism. Scott was there to help me again that being said this will be the only cycling shop I'll do business with in the future.

It was time for a trade. I called a few shops in Little Rock, but none of them did trades. One of them did, however, suggest two shops a bit farther away who did. So I called J & P! They offered a pick-up service since it was going to be difficult for me to get the bike to the shop. Bernie came to my house and picked up my bike. After about a week, he called back to let me know my bike was ready to be picked up and ridden. I fully expected to have to pay for replacement parts, but he was able to get the bike going without additional parts. I like that they diagnose what is wrong instead of simply parts swapping. When I went into the shop I asked if the oil needed changing, if the battery was bad, or if the chain needed work - all three areas where he could have made additional money. Bernie was honest and told me that all three of my concerns, and my tires were all in good shape and didn't need repair. I also let him know my concerns about fuel going bad, so Bernie offered me a fuel additive that will help keep the bike running in good shape. If you're looking for a top-notch bike repair shop, with honest, ethical people that are passionate about their work, look no further than Bern & South. The bike I rented was the most basic one, but very comfortable and was a smooth ride. Very happy they provide a helmet. I rented in December and the weather was just right. I just sweated a bit pedaling through the wind to get to the Big Dam Bridge! I also got to see the beautiful fall foliage. Again, highly recommend biking to see some of Little Rock's awesome sites and get a taste of nature.

Pinnacle Mountain State Park is a nice place to to spend your day doing hiking and it's only about…read more20 minutes from downtown Little Rock. I spent a few hours hiking on one of the more difficult hiking trails and it was a great experience! The trail was clean and well labeled, but the only difficult part was locating the same trail markers going down the mountain, especially since there are so many rocks and boulders throughout the entire terrain so it was very easy to miss several trail markers on the way down. I love that the state park offers a variety of trails and difficulty levels, so whether you are a beginner hiker or a more experienced hiker, you are bound to have a good time. I enjoyed the trail and the experience of doing some rock climbing, and if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely come back!

Love the free AR state park "passports" you can get as well - so many high-quality details!! 2. This was a challenging but well-marked hiking path. For context, we were told there is a "hard" side or an "extra hard" side to hike LOL. We chose the "hard" side. You do need some moderate physical fitness - a good portion of the "trail" was just spray-painted yellow marks on large rocks and boulders you have to climb. But we did it all in under 2 hours? Great views from the top, and there is a wonderful playground in the middle of the parking lot too! What a unique and fun experience. Honorable mention: we saw a raccoon in a Christmas sweater.
