He genuinely cares and wants to help you improve your lifestyle. He also supports the military and gives a discount. He's not the type of chiropractor to just crack you and send you on your way in less than 10 minutes. He takes all the time necessary to provide as many treatments in one visit as you need. For instance, he hooked me up to the traction machine in addition to my regular adjustment, ensured I had an ice pack when I left and gave me his cell number in case I had any problems over the weekend. I asked a chiropractor friend of mine about his prices (because yes, they are a little higher) but he said that normally he would charge $50 just for traction alone, and Dr. Carlile will do that in addition to other therapies for one flat price. I've never spent LESS than an hour at Dr. Carlile's, which shows me he's not in it to maximize patient output. Chiropractic helped him when he had an accident and he pays it forward. He and his wife run an amazing clinic. They also stay open late for me to ensure I leave with complete care. If you're an experienced chiropractic person, doc will give you some severe adjustments (which if you're like me, you'll love). Also, for female patients who may not be comfortable with a male adjusting you, his wife stays in the room for all adjustments to ensure patient comfort. There is no other chiropractor in the Fairbanks area that I will go to.

I couldn't sleep on my side, I couldn't stay in one position for too long without the pain building to the point of being almost unbearable. At the first visit, the pain disappeared, but came back by the time my two week follow up rolled around. By August/Sept...that pain is now almost completely resolved. If it does pop up, it's fleeting. I am now maintaining with monthly rather than weekly visits. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing alternative care, especially for pain.
