I have to say I downloaded this app just to leave this review! If you haven't gone to see Dr Carlile, then you have no idea what kind of life you're missing out on. This man was a lifesaver for me! I was at the point where I could barely move after a car wreck. I couldn't rotate my head. I was living in extreme chronic pain. And I could barely take care of my baby. All other doctors had given up on me. I found Dr Carlile in the phone book. He was the ONLY chiropractor who appeared to care enough about people to list his own personal cell phone in the ad. I thought to myself, this man must actually care about people if he cares enough to open himself up to the public need like that. Since that date, I can't rave enough about the help he offered me. He was the first to take x-rays. The only person to address my actual issues, past and present. And still to date the only chiro I've ever seen who thoroughly puts his heart and soul into helping you have a better life. My advice? If you want to lead a better more pain free life, Dr Carlile is the man to see and his methods are well worth the time and effort. He's not just another back popper. You can find those anywhere and they never solve any issues. Dr Carlile is a healer. He cares. He tries. And he succeeds. I live in FL now, but every time I visit Fairbanks I ALWAYS make at least one appt without fail. Even a single appt is that effective for me. His office staff and family are equally as caring and awesome. They are always accommodating no matter the need. Got kids? Bring them. Need last min? No problem. Drop-ins? Always welcome. I have had chronic back pain and migraine headaches for over 12 years, I had try other chiropractors in the past with little success. I've been going to Dr. Carlile for over three weeks, the first week I will admit was painful and I was in tears, the second week went better still with pain. At the beginning of my third week session I started to feel and see the difference. I started to have more movement and the same treatment that I had in the beginning was not painful anymore. For a person who usually gets between 3 to 4 migraine headaches in a month, I can say that I hadn't had one since I started my treatment with Carlile. I also had trouble sleeping I averaged 3 to 5 hours of sleep a day since I got out of the Army back in 2005. I am now sleeping better I starting to dream again and I feel well rested. My journey ain't over yet, I will continue to see Dr. Carlile until I am at 100%. What I like about Carlile is that he let's you know that it takes time to get better, you can't expect a miracle after a few sessions. I am glad that I continued my sessions with Carlile. I have been to many Chiropractors in Alaska starting in Anchorage. For starters I'm used to getting in and out of an adjustment usually in 5 to 10 minuets and thinking that was standard, however with Dr. Jon Carlile his treatments lasted around an hour insuring I received all the care I needed with NO additional charges. Dr. Carlile use techniques I had never seen performed before that happen to be much more effective from my previous experiences with others. I was so impressed by Dr. Carlile I did some research finding out that Dr. Carlile is one of the VERY FEW to have completed ALL 5 BOARD CERTIFICATES not to mention his 6 years in the armed forces in the medical field. In short Dr. Carlile spent 14 years in collage getting his Doctorate degree plus another 6 in the Armed Forces. Very Impressive! I have had chronic tingling and severe numbness in my right arm combined with crippling pain in my right elbow and shoulder for 25 years. I had been getting by on Aleve, but that wasn't working very well anymore the last couple of years. I haven't been able to ride a motorcycle or snowmobile for around four years now. I showed up at Dr. Carlile's office unannounced and talked to him and his wife about my problem. Immediately they had me getting x-rays and set me up for an adjustment. I was very pleased with the way that Dr. Carlile and his wife treated me. They are great people! They took the time to go over the x-rays with me and tell me what was happening inside my body. Then Dr. Carlile adjusted me, and his wife scheduled a follow up appointment the next day. I felt great afterwards. After spending roughly 30 minutes in the care of Carlile Chiropractic I was able to ride my motorcycle again. This place is very friendly and accommodating! I called them after many others in town, explaining my 6 year old had a ear ache and needed to be adjusted. The first time they got me in on a Friday evening so she wouldnt have to go the weekend. 18 months later I called and they got her in within hours again! He takes time to explain everything and make my daughter and I feel comfortable. After being up all night with her she is home and sleeping finally with no pain!
