Dr TAMPKE on my third visit was good but after a root canal last December i am being told I that had the money in my two pland to cover it and 3 cavities so I did the work. I got a call today saying I owe over $600. I am on SSDI and can not afford that With my medical bills. I offered $200 then $300 over so many months and they could speak with my social worker from Johnson County department of Aging and disability. Watch out for their fees it might bite you in the ass! They gave me the initial amount and would not accept less. read more

They are trying to help to many patients at once,..the Dentist is flitting from one patient to another,..leaving much of the work to aides who are unqualified to administer novacane,..or pulling Temps without it,..or deadening the wrong tooth,. Finally found a dental practice that does everything at a top tier! Regular cleanings are better than other places I've been (ask for Sue) and even the dreaded "fix" work (cavities, etc.) is done very well. Recently had a couple of cavities filled and while that experience will always suck no matter who does it, they did it about as well as you could ask for...barely felt anything outside of some pressure while they worked. Dr. Harris did a great job. They're also good with insurance, use a lot of current technology, and everyone in the office is very nice...couldn't ask for much more. They keep you smiling! read more

Let me first say that me hating the dentist is an understatement. I literally cry at cleanings because I'm so anxious about going. My body tenses up, I physically shake, my pulse goes wild, the whole 9 yards. This is no change. I cried at my cleaning with Dr Harris before even meeting him. I have had only a handful of dentists work on me after some bad incidents from my childhood. Even the most trusted sent me into straight up panic mode. Dr Harris came in after Jenny cleaned my teeth (amazing, kind, and so gentle with me) and told me I had some cavities. I cried. Again. You see, I ALWAYS have work that has to be done which is why I never, ever go to the dentist. I can do everything they ask me to do, exactly as they ask me to do it, and I'll still have cavities. I cried because I was disappointed (not in Dr Harris). He was upset I was crying and asked what he could do to ease my fears. I wasn't sure. Could I trust him?? Fast forward to today. I leave work early to make my appointment. I've been dreading this all day. I get into the office after debating about cancelling the appointment on the same day and paying whatever fee I have to. My husband convinces me to keep the appointment and go. When front desk asks how I'm doing, I reluctantly answer with "could be better if I wasn't here." They were sad I was so nervous! I go back and get nitrous oxide. I've never had it before. Dr Harris does his thing and fills the first 3 of my cavities (still have 2 more trips to go thanks to my terrible teeth). He gets done and I'm so calm (probably due to the nitrous) and I can't help but tell him how thankful I am. I've never had an experience like this before at the dentist and while I've only been to probably 4 or 5 in my lifetime, 30 years has taught me that I can't trust them. But I am literally writing this just an hour after having much needed work done and I feel like I can trust Dr Paul Harris. I made sure to tell him that and that I'd tell you reading this as well. If you're debating going If you're scared If you have dental anxiety If you have anxiety in general If you haven't gone in the last year or 6 months even for a cleaning GO! If I can do this, you can too, and you should. He will do everything he possibly can to make you feel comfortable. I'll see you in October for the second round of fillings Dr Harris! All my life I have had bad teeth. Dr. Kellenberger is the first dentist I have been to in 40+ years that didn't make me feel less than human for having poor teeth. He is very honest and upfront about what I needed, but caring and full of solutions. Not focusing on the problem, but finding what we need to do moving forward. When I made the decision to take a huge leap and get my teeth fixed, Dr. Kellenberger and his entire staff appeared more excited than I was for my up and coming new smile. He laid out a plan to get my dental hygiene back in order - with the cost! There was no pressure, his main concern was that my mouth was healthy and to get the critical issues taken care of. I remember my first cleaning, and him telling me what all I needed to do.. he looked me in the eye and said, "I just want you to have the smile YOU want". My husband and I sat down and looked at the plan and decided to go for it. We called and set up the appointments. Today I spent almost 4 hours in the dental chair.. 100% focus on me. Ensuring I was as comfortable as possible... Dr. Kellenberger and Rhonda took great care of me. I came home with a temporary smile today.... in two weeks my bridge and crowns will be permanent. He took so much time ensuring the bridge was "perfect" for me. He explained everything to me as he went along. Great attention to detail. A humble man, with an amazingly courteous staff. This place is horrible. I went in for a cleaning and they tried to say they needed to do a deep cleaning for $500 and wouldn't even do a regular cleaning on me. I went to another dentist where they said the exact opposite and even verified that my gums were fine and only needed to be deep cleaned as a preventative. This place will try and up charge you for everything so unless you feel like losing your 401k to them I would go somewhere else. Very unethical here. read more

I went in for a simple cleaning. After being examined, the hygienist left the room and the lady that handled billing came in and presented me with a recommended course of action that was going to cost me $600 out of pocket that included a bunch of stuff I didn't ask for. When I said I only wanted a simple cleaning, the Hygienist REFUSED to do it unless I agree to all the other "Things" she recommended. So now they have lost me as a patient as well as My wife and kids that were going to come in next. Ridiculous read more

This was my first time going in to see a denstist in 6 years. Dr. Kellenberger and his team is amazing. From the receptionist to the dental hygienist all have amazing smile very welcoming. They are on point. I was there to have my teeth cleaned and they saw some that needed to be worked on. Scheduled me right away and very flexible with my time. Very accommodating as you can say. Went back 2 weeks after , they are very gentle with me and always ask if I'm okay. Overall experience is EXCELLENT. 10 stars if I could! I would recommend it to everyone ! read more

Would never go back to this office- Horrible customer service they seemed totally unapologetic that they chose to omit some very important information about what specifically my insurance covered and instead just sent me a bill for it months later. Horrible experience. read more
