She is small town in a big city. My Mother has dementia and Dr P is a perfect resource for information. She has great intonation about the sandwich, (us 40 something's looking at a future of taking care of our aged parents) If you are needing a great Dr look her up.

It may take a month or longer to get an appointment with a cardiologist when experiencing shortness of breath and could be months for a needed colonoscopy or weeks waiting for an appointment to be scheduled with a general surgeon. It shouldn't take weeks to get a call to schedule an appointment with a specialist. Having been a clinic patient for over 30 years, it pains me to see the reduction in quality of care.

Then the Medical assistant Brenna got my vitals and other information and situated in a room. Jon the provider was in and quick with the issue at hand. He asked a ton of questions which made me feel he was concerned about the issue and he discussed what my options were along with meds and how they would affect me and my allergies to some. Great visit and they are easy to get to.

While in the waiting room there was a least six people waiting one person left from being cared for and we still had to wait 30 minutes to an hour for 1 person to get called back. I had to fill out paperwork twice and then when I finally got back the nurse didn't even read anything off of my medical history I filled out until I said isn't it on the paperwork I filled out twice. This place is a joke on maize and south Seneca.

Based on symptoms the PA wrote a prescription for 5 days. She told me when the lab results came back, she would check to be sure it was the correct antibiotic and then call in the second half of the Prescription. When the results came from the lab, I was called and told I needed to come back for another appointment to get the rest of the prescription and they would do another lab test. Neither was necessary for the rest of the prescription. But, they would get double the fees! I tried to argue that was not what I was originally told by the PA. They said the PA I saw wasn't available for the next week. But I could come back in and see another one. I was surprised to learn that 3 of my friends experienced the exact same thing. They were given half of an antibiotic prescription and then told to have a second appointment to get the second half of their prescription. NextCare gets paid twice.

After having to have need for services at major Wichita hospitals in the past, I found that the staff here are more helpful and caring than the larger hospitals. Had no issues.

I have had a lot of contact with doctors, providers, and facilities in my 64 years that started at six months of age, and now having 37 surgeries in my life. I feel this makes me uniquely qualified to access just how good, or bad a provider, doctor or facility is. At Wesley ER at 13th and Tyler, here in Wichita, I experienced nothing but sincere concern, kindness, compassion and a true dedication to the profession of either nurses, PA, or doctors! This was probably the most difficult time in my life! Wesley ER truly saved my life, as I nearly dispaired of living any longer in pain. Thank you to ALL who work there!!!

She made it seem as if I was over reacting as a first time mother. I visit Wichita very often and if we get treated like this I will not be back !
