Just as an example, he traveled to a remote Irish Mill he discovered that was making wool fabrics in a way that impressed him. So he went out there to check out their work and process before bringing their products back for his shop. He worked with me for hours until we got the perfect pants for me. He must have went through a dozen pairs before he got it just right for my body type. The best part was that I never felt like I burden. A coworker recommended I sell my Graco Sooth My Way swing that I just purchased in July 2021 for almost $200 instead of just giving it away as I usually would. I only used it for a few months because my baby grew out of it quickly. She recommended I go to this place. I called ahead and the woman sounded nice enough, saying she would take it and give me cash on the spot. The swing is in like-new condition with all of the parts. I brought it in and the lady took it out of the bag and told me she is going to give me $16. I said that is it? And with an attitude she said "yea, all I can do is $16. If you want more than you have to sell it yourself." I already unloaded it out of the car and was not trying to bring it back to my house, so I just accepted the $16 and left not feeling good at all. I came to the conclusion that I feel much better giving it away for free than getting lowballed like this so someone else can make a profit. She will probably sell it for $100. I'm sure the experience here as a consumer is a lot better than one as a "seller" even though it felt more like robbery. Never again.
