I've been here many times since I live around the corner. I used to have some luck when they first opened in the neighborhood but, lately as in in recent years , I haven't had much luck selling. Also, I try to go there to get shoes and I never have luck. I wear a 6 1/2 to a seven you would think that they would have at least three pairs of those in the store. Most of their shoes are very large sizes(9-12). Their prices are not good at all. I would say their location in Williamsburg is much better, but even then their prices are a little too high in general, particularly in Ridgewood. read more

If you want to sell good quality clothes including brand new. Cloths never worn or brand new shoes or sneakers never worn , And you lug all your things to sell be prepared to. Wait 4 hours before they decide to even look at your things and maybe they may buy one thing out of 10 things your selling do not. Expect to get more then 5 cents on the. Dollar. , if you have brand. New Cow boy mens boots you bought for 200 never worn. You will not get more then 14 dollars and 86 cents offered to you ! It's not. Worth bringing anything here to sell you are better off. Giving them to a friend or stranger or Red Cross do not go thru the hassle of selling them at this place and the humiliation of analyzing every inch and putting them back. In a bag for you to take back home because that's what will happen, they are extremely picky and extremely Cheap if they happen to actually willing to accept something your selling, it's not worth it your better off giving them directly to a. Homeless person in the street or to a friend or Red Cross do not bother coming to this place to sell anything rather put a smile on a homeless persons face and give it to them instead! read more

This place is very poorly managed and staff are very unhelpful, even rude. Their website was clear that they were purchasing clothes and I called to check but no one picked up the phone. After paying an Uber to take me there with several bags of clothes, I found a large sign at the entrance saying they purchase used clothes. When I went in, I was told they are not accepting clothes! The manager was of no help and showed no understanding for her misleading advertising, the staff would not even bother checking their other stores saying I need to "google around" to find them. One even smirked " I don't keep that information in my head". That, even though it is one of their stores. Not sure what their definition is of customer service but just a small hint....when a customer is asking for some help you are meant to help with service and not snide remarks, particularly since you have messed up and wasted the customers time. read more

Cute little store. I've found good items here before! The pricing feels off, some stuff feels incredibly expensive for what it is and other things seem to be a good value. The staff comes across rude and haughty, and I've felt like crying after interacting with them in several occasions. Definitely watch them price your items if you want to make any money. read more

While they told me they didnt like my items and bought nothing from me.. I found one of my Ralph Lauren sweatshirts on a hanger. I wonder what else made its way to a hanger? Ah man ! Heard about this spot from my coworker friend. Pulled up today and it was a dope funky artsy vibe. Loved the staff, everyone was super nice. There's a great selection of clothes, bags accessories. The selling / buying process was seamless. So happy I found this gem! Total scammers. If you don't stay to watch them count the clothes especially if you say the rest can be donation of what they don't take, they will just buy one or two items (in 2 bags full of clothes) and give you a couple of bucks. I know they got one over on me because I sold two bags of clothes to them before ( not as much as the second time when they scammed me) and most of it sold since they had to do it in front of me. Very cute store with awesome clothing. However , it's only organized by color, which makes it more difficult to find things in your size. When I suggested they organized by both color and size, she laughed and told me customers wouldn't put clothes back where they go. I mean isn't that their job!? While I continued to shop, that employee then went over to the other employee and blatantly talked about me. I felt so unwelcome. Employees are what make or break a business. read more

Their online store is really great and they do a great job marketing things on Instagram. They'll even field your order through IG which is convenient. The store smelled of incense and good vibes, lots of clothes to try on and good affordable prices. Great little corner spot and near a few restaurants and a brewery--makes for a good day in the neighborhood. read more

My last review was a bit much. I still feel the same way about a lot of things, but I will say when I went in to sell some more clothes this time, they were way nicer. I understand a store like this has to be a bit selective in what they choose to buy from you. But this time they wound up buying 6 of my items. I was happy and was able to buy 2 gorgeous straw purses with the credit I earned from selling. They do have some really cool stuff on the racks. Cool store, clean and COVID conscious. Great music played in there! I do wish they had more diverse sizing but that's a bit out of their control since they're literally selling stuff people bring in... overall my visit was an improvement this time, but I think if it wasn't such a convenient location for me I wouldn't run to return. read more

This place is clearly trying to please the shit out of customers. The employees happen to be the most giving and considerate buy sell trade "types" I have ever dealt with, which os a reflection of management and ownership. This joint is a community gem that reflects a policy of "for everyone." The associate even took the time to show me why they wouldn't take certain items, so I know for the future. They gave me a fair price. They have a great selection of all types of clothing. Wouldn't sell my stuff here again. You fill out a form with your phone number, which I would assume means they'd call you when they're done looking through your things. I dropped stuff off at 3, and went back at 4:30 and they had only just started sorting my things. Had an event at 6 and had to go. Was never contacted, all my things were donated and I can only get store credit because they only issue cash on the day of. The employee told me they'd call me, and didn't. This is likely all written on the small voucher so I cannot be too upset, but to be honest it's just lazy and weird to not call a person when you have their info, have cash to give them, and are throwing their things away. Could be better explained by the staff that hands you the forms. Lost a lot clothes I could've sold elsewhere, woman on phone not helpful. read more

very horrible. I went in a few days ago with three large bags of clothes. They told me that there was an oder coming from my bag of clothes at least one of them the man came over and announced it to the whole store, instead of pulling me aside, demanding us to come pick our things up because they were going to donate them did not contact us that they weren't gonna look through. Our things decided to donate them so we had to call and ask where our things are and if someone looked at them already and they didn't they found the bags they were not donated we have to pick our things back up, but this is ridiculous. They didn't want to do a sale over a slight odor this is New York. There are rats dirt smells everywhere. Favourite New York thrift store of all time. You can always find a good steal here no matter what day it is without having to sift through a billion things and touch a quintillion pieces of fabric that have been worn by other people. They vet the clothing items very closely- most of my stuff for consignment has been rejected here. If you ask, the staff will gladly tell you why. They make up for the low consignment prices (which IMO is low everywhere) in their re-sell. I have a pair of Frank and Oak jeans and a Michael Kors clutch from here that I absolutely adore. Also the store is just beautifully eclectic looking in general- creating a cozy hip atmosphere to shop in. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place in Ridgewood; people in the store have a nasty attitude, and are rude, mean, and disrespectful every time I am there. The vibe in the store is so unpleasant that you don't even want to shop there. One time I was looking to purchase a dress, but because of the attitude I received from the lady at the register when I asked how the credit would be applied, I changed my mind and walked away. If you don't have customer service skills, you shouldn't be working with customers! Period. I've been coming to this store for years, but I see that the mood and atmosphere in this store are changing for the worse, leaving me with a bad experience and making me not want to go back. Also, I could find and buy something in the past as the selection was much better. Nowadays, I cannot even pick anything as clothes are either too small (sizes 0-2) or the style of clothes is the buyer's style and not the kind of ordinary people. I walked in with three bags of mostly unused clothes, brand names, and in good condition WITH price tags on them AND freshly washed. They made me and my father wait an HOUR just to had me EVERYTHING back bc "it wasn't in season with their spring collection." What is wrong with this place. Who refuses 500 dollars worth of clothes bc it's mostly jeans and hoodies. Why not just leave it in storage or put it on sale?? This place is a scam. They only give 30% back of the original price IF they even TAKE your clothes. Don't waste ur time in this gentrified wasteland. read more

I always loved going to this location as i often found great pieces at even better prices. That was until one of the workers randomly decided to take her frustration out on my friend. For no apparent reason, one of the employees spouted a rude comment about my friends appearance, resulting in us leaving the store shortly after. I love going here - it's super friendly and they have a great selection of sizes which can't always be said of other vintage and buy sell trade type stores. Every time I come in here I get chatted up by someone,. And they have fun new stuff, I got a great needle for my turntable here and patient help figuring out if it would be the right fit for my model. The price point is awesome - I've gotten wool and cashmere blend items here for $10-$15. I always find something. I really appreciate the staff isn't the typical white Midwestern hipster kids that can be so condescending when you're trying to sell. I never get that kind of nonsense here. I took my clothes in to sell/ trade and the woman behind the counter was extremely rude and judgmental of my items. I had brand new Levi's jeans, a few sweaters and dress pants etc. She barley looked at any of the clothing and referred it as disposable. I have been trading and selling my clothing for years, even if companies do not take certain items, I have never experienced this level or rudeness and judgement. This is a new business in my hometown which I was looking forward to supporting. If you are going to open a new store in a small community you should really have staff that is more kind to those who enter. After this experience I will not be returning again. read more

Please do NOT ever go to this store. The last two times I sold clothes there, right in front of me they put the price tags on the clothes, ready to put them on the racks, no matter what, that's gross, but now with the covid. It is absolutely irresponsible. Then the next time I went in and I mentioned it, the worker said well we are a thrift shop, I said I know but you present yourselves to be more upscale, so therefore you expect more, and better standards, since then they have completely been rude to me. I wasn't trying to be nasty, I was just asking a question. I atleast would expect with people dying of covid, that when they buy clothes they could at the very least spray them with some thing..... right??? Also, for the clothes they don't want to buy, they ask if you want to donate.. OMG!! when I asked what they do with these "donated " clothes.. they have no ashame in saying that you're donating the clothes to them.. that they take those clothes they don't want to sell on their racks, but they sell them to a textile company for the fabric... so they're still making profit.. but tell you they're donating them.. and take them from you for free... there is a church half a blog book away in one direction, and a small church a block away in the direction of fresh pond rd that gives shelter to those in need. I would suggest taking your clothes there... all of them! You may not get a little 7 dollars lol. That's not even a joke, but at least you'll feel fulfilled helping out those that truly need... while at the same time not endangering yourselves just by browsing some clothes. read more
