Ah man ! Heard about this spot from my coworker friend. Pulled up today and it was a dope funky artsy vibe. Loved the staff, everyone was super nice. There's a great selection of clothes, bags accessories. The selling / buying process was seamless. So happy I found this gem! The lady in the front with the glasses was super nice and helped my daughter and answered all million of her questions! Sorry about that LOL!

This place is so so cute! I was able to find several pieces at a reasonable prices. The jewelry is unique and I had to snag a couple of smiling sun earrings. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and the whole experience was simply perfect.

Very cute store with awesome clothing. However , it's only organized by color, which makes it more difficult to find things in your size. When I suggested they organized by both color and size, she laughed and told me customers wouldn't put clothes back where they go. I mean isn't that their job!? While I continued to shop, that employee then went over to the other employee and blatantly talked about me. I felt so unwelcome. Employees are what make or break a business.

Lovely variety of women's clothes and accessories. Love the huge fitting room and had a DJ playing on a weekend. Had great selection of dresses and jackets.

Their online store is really great and they do a great job marketing things on Instagram. They'll even field your order through IG which is convenient. The store smelled of incense and good vibes, lots of clothes to try on and good affordable prices. Great little corner spot and near a few restaurants and a brewery--makes for a good day in the neighborhood.

The aesthetic of the shop and the product offering (great fifty items, a lot of local products, fun greeting cards, plants!) is what drew me to follow them. Having a "Visit Ridgewood Day" and and shop and Stay Forever was on my to-do list this spring, but now we're all grounded. I was so happy to see that the owners took a creative way to drum up some business during a very uncertain time but selling all types of care packages. I decided to buy a surprise box for my friend, and she loved it. It included a candle and a gorgeous spring green journal. I ended up buying three more boxes for my friends' children; I cannot wait to see the pics of their loot from Stay Forever. I will definitely be visiting this local women-owned business when things get better.

However, I had a really frustrating experience recently regarding their return policy. A high-end item was placed in a bucket on the floor, where the price was not visible and the price sign of a neighboring item was visible instead of that particular item. Because the store was crowded, and they don't print receipts, I didn't catch the massive price jump at the register until after I paid. When I immediately went back inside to return the item and explain the misleading signage setup, I was told they only offer store credit or gift cards- No refunds. For an independent local boutique, a completely inflexible 'No refund' policy for an honest, immediate mistake leaves a really bad taste in your mouth. If you shop here, just be sure to double-check the price of absolutely everything at the register before you hand over your payment, because once they have your money, you are stuck with it. UPDATE: The owner publicly responded with a smooth, passive-aggressive spin claiming they are 'totally flexible' and that returns are always allowed. However, she then privately messaged me a completely different story, admitting: 'While we do have a no refund policy... we do issue refunds for same day returns.'So, my original review was entirely accurate. The owner lied publicly to save face while admitting the truth in my DMs. She also condescendingly noted that the 'great thing about shopping small' is that the owners are 'one short email away.' But who should have to track down an owner's email inbox just to get basic, standard customer service? A customer shouldn't have to do extra labor to bypass an untrained staff member. The owner privately admitted she left two completely brand-new employees working totally solo during a hectic weekend shift. Leaving untrained staff alone to run a busy store isn't 'flexibility'--it's a massive management failure that directly results in misleading pricing and stressed-out customers and employees. While she privately apologized, the fact remains that their system is broken. It is not convenient for me to travel back to Ridgewood to fix a store error. I am keeping the item, but the review stays up as a historical record of terrible management.

Along the right side of the store, the wall running most of the length of the store features hundreds of stuffed animals, notably many capybara plushies which are all the rage. Some of my friends think I am crazy for not trying to sell or make a profit off of items I have that are expensive and like-new. A coworker recommended I sell my Graco Sooth My Way swing that I just purchased in July 2021 for almost $200 instead of just giving it away as I usually would. I only used it for a few months because my baby grew out of it quickly. She recommended I go to this place. I called ahead and the woman sounded nice enough, saying she would take it and give me cash on the spot. The swing is in like-new condition with all of the parts. I brought it in and the lady took it out of the bag and told me she is going to give me $16. I said that is it? And with an attitude she said "yea, all I can do is $16. If you want more than you have to sell it yourself." I already unloaded it out of the car and was not trying to bring it back to my house, so I just accepted the $16 and left not feeling good at all. I came to the conclusion that I feel much better giving it away for free than getting lowballed like this so someone else can make a profit. She will probably sell it for $100. I'm sure the experience here as a consumer is a lot better than one as a "seller" even though it felt more like robbery. Never again.
