I get my hair done every new year and the first time I went to Jayvon, I wanted to go blonde and he made my hair beautiful and golden and he fixed my raggedy damaged hair!! I have been seeing Rani for years and she always makes me feel beautiful! She communicates with me very well so we are always on the same page with what I want. I also trust her to just do her own thing if I feel like I need a change, she knows me well enough now to know what I like and don't like. Jayvon has also washed my hair a few times and he does an excellent job. I love that they are flexible and willing to work with your schedule if you don't always have time to come during the week because of work. They also keep the atmosphere very fun with good music and lots of laughs. I always have a great time going to them and truly enjoy my visits to the salon

This is the best salon in SoCal, I'm so thankful for them both! Rani helped me finally loose my long hair and do the short that I always wanted too! It fits me so much better! I lost my hair's virginity to this place haha. I went from basically jet black hair to emerald, to gray, to purple, and now a gorgeous full on blonde. AND MY HAIR STILL FEELS AMAZINGLY HEALTHY - despite all the damage I did to it lol. While going through all that bleaching process, it's nice to have professionals who know what they're doing. Today i was able to get my hair done by Jayvon at Riedel Riedel. The salon is inside the sola salons on the second story. Be sure to get your maps to the sola salons closest ro Victoria Gardens. They are one of the first salons as you walk inside. Be sure to check them out i was very happy with my hair color. Im very picky and i was impressed with his natural talent. read more

Where do I even begin? I chose this place To get my hair done simply based on a few customers reviews, the fact it was a Groupon and my very urgent need to get my hair done. If I couldn't find an appointment within the next 24 hours I probably would've bought a box day at CVS and then it myself which would've been a bad idea. So I text jayvon /the phone number listed on the Groupon and asked if he had any appointments available same day or next .. within about an hour I was offered an appointment time and he also message me detailed instructions on how to get there since I have no idea where I was going. I wound up running a few minutes late and let him know I'm still on my way, without hesitation he made it seem like no problem he pushed my appointment time out another half hour so I wouldn't rush. That set the tone for my entire experience . I was calm and immediately felt comfortable and then very confident I was dealing with a professional. The actual salon itself was super cute, clean and stylish . I was quite impressed by not only my overall experience BUT HOW AMAZING MY HAIR COLOR TURNED OUT! it was a wonderful experience. I love the setup of the Sola salons, my very first time going to a place like that. The Riedels seem like very genuine good people and have amazing talent and appeared to be very well liked by passerby's. Jayvon was the first hairstylist to actually get my hair the color I wanted . Very close to my ideal blonde color. He also made sure to not damage my hair and mixed a protectant within the coloring process and honestly gave me such a beautiful color of blonde that I must go back to you him.I think I found my hairstylist for life. His mom was also very kind and offered to get me food because I was hungry and that made my experience even that much better. I definitely got lucky when I picked a random person on Groupon and I definitely 100% for sure will be going back I'm very happy with my hair and A BIG THANK YOU TO Jayvon. read more

I have been going to Rani for over 9yrs and wouldn't even think of switching! Followed her when she switched salons. I even hired Rani to do my hair and others at my Wedding 8 years ago. Love Rani and all her expertise of hair. I have colored my hair in many shades, cut it many different ways and Rani always makes it look great. I went to jayvon Reidel. He is a super rude guy. Don't go there. they make me wait for 1 hour, and when I said you make me wait for too long instead of saying sorry he got angry and said that what it is, and I don't have to do my hair there!!! If that what is you should tell me before waiting not after 1 hour waiting. So rude!!! And his work is awful too. During this 1 hour I was watching his client, and see how he made her ugly. I understand that unexpected situations happen, but after the first appointment was canceled because Madison Reed overbooked the time slot, I would have expected the rescheduled appointment to be handled with more care. Customers are expected to respect appointment times and cancellation policies, and I believe that same consideration should be given to customers when the business cancels.
