I was with Andrea to touch up my roots with baby lights and get a darker hair color. It was nothing but amazing and I've had rough times because every time I get my hair bleached my last few stylists always leave it on too long and breakage occurs. I recently color removed hot pink and bleached my hair to get a bit lighter but needed a root tap to blend in some of the darker beige pieces in with the lighter ones. I went to valerie and she was sweet and listened to what I wanted! However, I do think $95 for that service was way too much. Normally when I've come here for haircuts, I get the service, plus a blow dry, and a style for $85. I paid $95 for the root tap and a pretty aggressive blow dry on my compromised hair, and with no style. On my wet(lightly towel dried), tangled hair, she took a round brush and started to blow dry it. Now I know it's important in salons to fully dry hair in as little time as possible for time management, but she knows the history of my hair. Pretty damaged, and needs TLC. She was just kinda blow drying it how my mom does it in a rush LOL! I thought I was at least going to get some curls for $95 as well, but nope. Don't get me wrong, lovely lady, just think that price for what I got was way overkill. read more

She completely fixed me up I wish I had before and after pics but it was a while ago.. My hair was also really damaged and the moment I committed to her services she brought it back to life!! Let me preface this review with the fact that I hate hair salons due to getting mostly inconsistent services with hair color. However, this place changed my mind about salons completely. Valerie is a pro at what she does and she works fast! I've never spent less than 5-7 hours in a salon chair and Valerie got me in and out in 1.5 hours with a full color and highlights This is the second time I've gone to her and she does not disappoint. Very unprofessional! I waited for my appointment for over 5 months. Was super excited to get my hair finally done! Unfortunately, I had a family emergency that had me out of state. I reached out to Andrea two weeks in advance to confirm my appointment that I was ready to book a flight for. She responded but could never confirm, all the way to days before my appointment (when I had to reach out for the 3rd time). I was excited to come here seeing so many positive reviews after sending a picture of my hair and what I wanted still setting up an appointment to come in sit in the chair for Valerie to start combing my hair and for her to tell me to finish combing my own hair out and to tell me she cant touch my hair shes afraid of it breaking with bleach, the reason we go to hair salons are because they know how to treat and care for any type of hair especially if they have been "EXPERIENCED" for so many years, its been about 7 months since i last dyed my hair and about 3 years since I last bleached it, If she cant work on curly hair then why not say that prior to me setting up an appointment, i feel like I wasted my time and then she still wanted to proceed with bleaching only the middle of my head. When I asked again she said she wasn't going to touch the ends. So at that point im upset if you aren't going to touch my hair at the ends then why should i let you work my hair to then charge me $300. I just feel there could have been better communication and maybe a sign posted that says "WE DONT WORK ON CURLY HAIR" that would only be fair. read more
