This store is life changing. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth every penny? YES. The service is impeccable and raised the bar for me in all future retail shopping experiences. I told them (the woman who served as my personal shopper) what I felt was the main issue with my current bras and what I wanted. (I replaced all but my strapless bra.) Of note, I had already done my own measurements at home using the "a bra that fits" method and she agreed that was my size and that's the size she used when bringing bra selections. If you haven't done your work at home, I am certain they would measure you at the store. For each type of bra I was looking for, they brought me like five options, I picked the ones I liked most, and they adjusted them for me and taught me how to properly put them on. I tried them on, asked for a different color, if I wanted, and had a maybe and yes pile which I went through again at the end. I bought five wonderful bras. I also ended up buying a bikini, one sexy pair of panties to match a particularly sexy bra, and some detergent to hand wash the bras. After this experience (I was brought wine, Belgium dark chocolate and biscotti while shopping!) I wish I could afford to replace the rest of my wardrobe with a personal shopper. It was so stress free to find all these items that fit perfectly! But bras are foundational, so even though my clothes shopping is still done at Kohl's, H&M, and similar bargain places, when it comes time to shop for bras again, this is where I will shop. They have a customer for life and I wish I had made it here years ago. read more

You get what you pay for!! This place is amazing and Luz was the best. The do not bring out the traditional tape measure to size you. They are professionals and deserve that title. The selection of bras and swim suits that actually fit a woman's body is impressive and they have extensive inventory not on the sales floor. There were two bras that I had no interest in and she encouraged me to try them- I got them both! One that changes the straps several different ways and another that I would have never thought would fit so well. Every woman needs their bras to fit fabulously and this is the place. Very disappointed with service and product in Chicago store. I went here to (hopefully) find a bra that actually fits, with a pro that knows what they are doing. This did not happen. Despite the misgivings relayed to the salesperson about the fit of the bras she brought me to try, I fell for the sales pitch and bought two bras, to the tune of over $250. They have proved to be the most uncomfortable and poorly fitting bras I have ever owned and are useless to me. What a waste of money and time, though Goodwill will be able to get something out of these brand -new, very expensive garments. Never again... read more

Curvy women, rejoice! Rigby & Peller (formerly Intimacy) is the go to place for bras and lingerie for women who haven't fit into a Victoria's Secret bra in years. The store has a wide selection of bras that go all the way up to a K cup, and every staff member there is dedicated to making sure you have the right fit for your body and you feel comfortable and beautiful. I worked with Rochell P. on my most recent trip, and she couldn't have been more wonderful. She listened to what I was looking for, understood my budget, and helped me find exactly the right bras for my challenging sizing. I am pleased with my experience at Rigby & Peller (R&P). In fact the experience (thus far) outshone the products. I'll explain. If you are seeking a place to purchase a variety of styles and COLORS for a larger chest, Rigby & Peller is the place to come. I was skeptical of the vast array of design options for girls with bigger boobs. Busty gals are accustomed to boring (or slutty) styles, basic colors (always black for me), and exorbitant prices. R&P delivers the expected with its prices (prepare to pay), but surprises in its selection. I haven't had a supportive, colorful, unique bra in years. Always 2 of 3. R&P can offer all three. While I love the vast array of brands available, I had some trouble with the Elomi brand I purchased. I found that I couldn't wear the bra for more than a few hours without considerable discomfort. Fortunately I also purchased a number of Panache, Goddess, and Cleo brand brassieres. I am hopeful that those brands deliver more comfort. Aside from the selection, I am most impressed with the level of service. The salesperson who helped me, Sarves, was professional and capable and smart. I plan to return to see her (if she's there) when I return to buy a few bras on my next trip. They don't measure your bust at R&P, but instead, do a visual determination after looking at your chest. At least she did. And I'll be darned if she didn't get my size absolutely correct. I like to work with people who are good at what they do. She guided me though a number of options and only two (of the more than 15) were even slightly ill-fitting. I can't speak to the quality of the bras, but I am hopeful. I am accustomed to Natori and Wacoal and can say categorically that the fabric is different from what they offer. The discomfort from wearing the Elomi brand, the high cost of the bras, and the inflated price of the underwear keeps me from giving more than three stars. But they are three very hopeful and enthusiastic stars. I look forward to returning to R&P and seeking out the expertise of the wonderful staff. I anticipate a long relationship. TWO WEEKS LATER EDITED TO ADD: the bras are all tremendously uncomfortable. Thus far, the Elomi brand selections that I returned were the most comfortable. I appreciate the boning (or whatever), but I need to be able to wear a bra for more than 8 hours a day. I have had to unhook each of the bras I purchased due to utter discomfort from having the boning (or whatever) digging aggressively into my sternum and or sides. read more

I was here a couple weeks ago and have been wearing the bras nonstop since I purchased them. I walked in here ready to spend $$$ on new bras - and that's definitely what I ended up doing. This place is super fancy and super pricey. The sticker shock was SO real. However - it was also exactly what I needed. The woman who helped me was incredibly helpful, patient and thorough. She looked at the bra that I had on, asked me what I liked about it, pointed out some fitting issues and went away to bring me bras on bras on bras. The entire experience was very low pressure, and I felt like I walked away not just with the bras but with a lot more knowledge on how to buy bras in the future (and the magic that a good bra can work). I'm not sure if my budget can sustain this new habit, but I definitely don't regret going - at least now I know what to look for! read more

I had breast surgery and went in for a new bra size fitting. Previously, I got a great fitting from My Intimacy and thought it was worth a special trip (1.5 hours to get there) to their successor to get a good, accurate fitting. I told the consultant that while there might still be some residual swelling, most swelling was gone and I was looking for a good-fitting comfortable bra to wear for the next year or so as they settle into their final shape. It was so disappointing. The fitter didn't even use a measuring tape, she just took one look at me and announced I was a 34F. This was both surprising and devastating to me, because prior to my breast reduction surgery I was --- a 34F. All that planning and pain and recovery and I was the same size??? Heart-breaking. Then she proceeded to bring in all kinds of fancy, colorful, lacy bras. She did not seem even aware of my distress. I went along with her, hoping that some pretty bras might ease my distress. They didn't seem to fit exactly right -- the cups wrinkled a bit. But she assured me that this was my problem and I wasn't laying the breasts correctly. When I asked for styles that were simpler and more everyday, she breezily lectured me on how I could wear fancy, lacy bras everyday. I finally just bought some bras to get out of there so I could process my distress. Burst into tears as soon as I was in my car. In the week since this, I have had two other bra fittings elsewhere, both of which used measuring tapes and put me at a 34E. The 34E bras do fit better and the cup fabric doesn't wrinkle. That is still distressing, and not at all what I had expected after a breast reduction, but at least these bras are accurate. In short, I got neither an accurate fitting nor bras that fit my needs at R&P. If you want fancy, colorful, very expensive bras, R&P is a great place to go. If you want a good, accurate fitting and consultants who listen, I recommend going elsewhere. read more

Had the opportunity to visit the Chicago store. My stylist Linda was very dedicated to finding me the right fit, which she did. She was absolutely fabulous and extremely friendly. She gave me care & wear tips and showed me other options that I will be purchasing. By the time I left it felt like we were old friends. I will be a life long customer with Linda. Jasmin was the stylist helping my niece was also very nice. The store is very welcoming and the stylist don't try to oversell. You never know how important a bra can be or make you feel until you go to a specialist that has the proper expertise and the correct product. This is worthy investment. read more

I've been coming here for a few years, and when my sister requested some bra/lingerie for her bachelorette party in the city this place was the first place I called. They specialize in boobs. Period. If you got them, they have bras that will make them look fantastic. I am blessed with good boobs and while I am generally frugal, this place takes all my monies cause they make my girls look amazing. I brought a party of about 15 women to this location and the staff managed us like pros. Everyone felt comfortable, even in little to no clothing. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and responsive, the product is excellent, and if you aren't positive of your perfect size, these ladies know how to fit you. I wear a bra size not generally found in any other store, and it's wonderful to walk in and find a great selection of styles and colors. I have moved and don't have a R&P store close by, but I call and order my items and hear about what's on sale. I am also able to do this online, but prefer to call my old store as they have my records on file. I honestly don't need to go anywhere else. read more

Rigby & Peller's products are made to last without shrinking, ripping, fading or falling apart, and look good on the wearer, along the way. As a large-busted woman, I never find my size in stores. Rigby and Pellier not only carry my size, but they have many brands and styles to choose from. But, that's not the best part: the associates are. I've had 2 fittings there, and both times were amazing. The associates are patient, friendly, and non-judgemental. I lost count of the number of bras she brought me, and she was willing to take "no" for an answer, and to give me her honest opinion (even if it was "nope, not for you"). I spent more $ than I planned, but I don't regret a single purchase, and I plan to go back soon! read more

Great selection of beautiful bras for all sizes. As a larger chested gal, though still petite, I can never find bras in my size in other stores. I typically buy the same bra from the same store every year and it is dull to say the least. On a recent trip to Chicago I walked past Rigby & Peller as I was leaving Bloomingdales and I am so glad I decided to stop in. My stylist, Caroline, was great and went above and beyond to ensure I was wearing the right size bra and brought me so many options to choose from. The only downside is that I wanted every single one! Caroline also created a wish list of the bras I didn't purchase so that when I come back I can easily find the bras I still want to purchase. I would recommend this store to every woman - easily the best place to go to find out your true size and experience great customer service. read more
