I had a good experience with another agency in my city but the caregiver they provided couldn't move to their OC location. I did a quick search and found Comfort Keepers. It's always nerve-wracking to choose an agency you aren't familiar with, knowing you will be stepping back and letting someone else support your loved one. Having a stranger in your house is something to get used to and not always an easy transition. From the first meet and greet with Karen and Chelsea I walked away feeling that they had a genuine concern for my father, and also my mother, who also would be in the home with him. My father has 7 day a week support and it's made such a difference in his health, wellbeing, and demeanor. He considers his "helpers" as family and hasn't had an odd fit yet. The staff is communicative when there's a sub or a change, and we're able to communicate scheduling updates easily via the phone or their website portal.

They are such nice and caring people and they are making such a difference in our mother's time in hospice. The agency is very organized with Camille doing all of the scheduling and immediately getting back to us with any questions or requests. The caretakers are taking notes about everything that happens on the shift, including interactions, food, and medicine given. They are fantastic keeping in touch constantly and checking in to make sure that we are happy with the personnel and letting us know the names and times ahead of time. That was my case with my father's illness of ALS. When Luis and his team came into the picture, they served us in our time of need. They were honest, kind, and humble. With other companies, you can tell when your request for at-home care is viewed as a business transaction. This company is different. No endless spam calling, no ridiculous 40 hour minimum requirements, no pretending to care, no unreasonable price points, and no lazy caregivers. They took our finances into consideration, came to our house to help fix our bath chair so it could slide into the tub, and taught my mom and I how to use a hoyer lift by demonstration, which relieved my dad's fear of it and made him laugh. They cared for our family until my father's passing in January 2026, and my only regret is that I didn't find them sooner. They serve with the heart of Jesus and I'm grateful. They genuinely care and went above and beyond. Luis even showed up to our house to help us with tasks outside of regular caregiving along with the caregiver.
