It took me calling the police for them to actually attempt- without lying about their efforts- to fix the situation. Their effort to fix the situation also entailed trying to charge us again, until I reminded them that they told the police they wouldnt charge us. Shifty, bad characters run this place and have permanently scarred my trust in storage units, let alone name brands you should be able to trust. Unprofessional management and inexperienced, immature people run the office day to day. Theyre lazy, they make sloppy attempts to cover up their tracks, and theyre inconsiderate. They couldnt care less, unless theyre threatened legally. Im guessing legally is exactly how were going to have to deal with this. read more

I am having the same problem as "Jessica W", whose comment is from Feb 2025. My external-facing unit is also iced in and I cannot get it opened. The two staff people I spoke with about this claimed to be working on it and blamed refreezing every night for negating their attempts to clear the ice off during the day. After being told that they were going to work on my unit specifically with sale and digging that day, I visited several hours later and found that nothing had been done. This is simply unacceptable...I am contacting their national headquarters and also speaking with local town authorities in Amherst to see if there are legal steps that can be taken. read more

When RightSpace took over at this facility my rent was $129 per month, now it's $168 per month. There have been zero changes that I have been able to detect in the quality of the facility in the last 2 1/2 years but the pricing has increased by 30% in that time!!!!! Why????? read more

This has been my first experience with a storage company and hopefully my last. Over the past year I have been traveling for work and decided to leave my stuff in storage and what a nightmare it has been. To start off they couldn't keep track of what unit I was in and kept sending me late notices saying I wasn't paying for my unit, however when I signed up I elected to have my payment automatically withdrawn. HOW HARD IS IT TO DIRECTLY WITHDRAW MONEY!!! IT SHOULD BE VERY EASY!! Then I called and they said oh we weren't sure which unit was yours and lost your paper work you owe us for 3 months. Had I not been in Texas at the time I would have moved my stuff out immediately. Then after a couple more months they just forgot to take money out again and again wanted to take all the money owed out at once. After arguing with them for about 30 minutes they finally dropped one of the months. Please do yourself a favor and find another place to store your belongings. This place has no idea what they are doing. And if you call to talk to someone they don't answer, never call you back, or just give you the run around. There have to be places out there that are for more competent then this place. Will never put my things in storage ever again thanks to this place. What a terrible experience. read more

There have been favorable changes with this location!!! Due to family events a convenient storage location was needed with short notice. The movers were there and very accommodating. There was a huge snaggle with paperwork and working with one of the staff members. It took that staff member over 60 days to get it straightened out. That made the family event more difficult to adjust to! Today I worked with two other staff members with much better customer service! I received a late notice even though I was on auto-pay. Both Andrew and Mike were so friendly and professional it was a pleasure to realize I had overlooked informing them the account set up for auto pay had changed. Tom even removed the late fees because I had not been late before. I would have given them five stars today except in all honesty the previous event should be measured in! read more

We leased a climate controlled ( aka - unit located in their main office building) to store items as we were in the process of selling our home. Our contract covered a period of January to June. We were told we would have access to the unit during normal business hours. On several occasions we had to have them unlock the access door to the unit area. Imagine though our shock and surprise that as we were moving the boxes out of storage that many of them had suffered water damage! It was a climate controlled unit - not one of the exterior units! To further frustrate us, when we contacted management we were quoted ' well you didn't buy insurance'. That has nothing to do with the fact that they were not monitoring the premises and keeping it in condition to warrant the climate controlled features!!! Poorly managed, clearly not customer orientated. Have made it a point to tell friends and family not to do business with them or their affiliate College Bound Movers. read more
