I had researched same day crowns but I found that they were not as strong as the ones that have to be custom made. The temporary crown was very strong and never came off. Dr Castillo fitted it just fine. Today I went back for the permanent crown. I opted to not have any pain killers and I didn't even need them!. Dr. Castillo did a wonderful job and made sure that my bite was correct. He is very meticulous in getting everything just right. Thanks to this dentist office for always taking time to explain everything. I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist!

At intake, the nurse that took my X-rays explained everything and even kept my mind preoccupied by making side conversation and making me laugh. Once I was evaluated and spoke to Dr. Castillo he explained my options and how he would like to proceed. He explained my options and prescribed a heavy antibiotic and stronger pain medication because my infection was severe. After a week of medication, I was scheduled for an extraction and the staff continued to provide the best customer service. The front office kept me calm and the nurse checked on me regularly as I took a sedative for the anxiety. Although I don't remember much of the procedure, the healing process has been easy. I had minimal bleeding, minor pain, and almost back to normal 2 days later. I will continue to visit Dr. Castillo and his staff! I feel so much better about dental visits.

They gave me 3rd party lender options, but thankfully, they didn't pressure me too much to add on Invisalign. They really try hard to make a good 1st impression, and so far, it's been going well. After my X-rays and photos were taken, the dentist discussed my treatment plan while there were four other staff members in the room. I found this extremely uncomfortable and overwhelming, especially for a private healthcare discussion. Afterward, I was taken into an office to discuss costs. Instead of focusing on my immediate concerns, I was presented with a treatment plan totaling nearly $9,000. It felt more like sitting in a sales office at a dealership than being at a dental appointment. When I explained that I only wanted to pay for today's visit and was not interested in moving forward with the proposed treatment at that time, I felt pressured to finance the procedures and repeatedly asked why I wasn't proceeding. The interaction became even more upsetting when a manager made a comment along the lines of, "Well, it's your health, not mine. You're the one with six cavities." Regardless of the condition of a patient's teeth, no one should feel judged, pressured, or shamed into making a financial decision on the spot. I left feeling frustrated, embarrassed, and in tears. I understand dental treatment can be expensive, but patients deserve to be treated with compassion, respect, and without high-pressure sales tactics. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Also, the manager said I owed $126 for today's visit and then after I said no after everything; she claimed I owed $315 and that my insurance company would send a check of difference. I've had my insurance for 2+ years and I've never had that happen anywhere I've been. I'll definitely be reporting them if I don't receive my check in the mail.

all i want to say is that i was soooo scared before and i had fear of dentists for many years in…read morethe past because when i was on my teen yrs back in the 80s, i was exposed to orthodentists, dentists in mexico and it was painful and a lot of pain. now that i am on my late 50s. i had to find a dentist that i can trust and to make sure that pain was zero. i found dr julio de la fuente. let me explain how blessed and content i am for have found dr julio. i needed an emergency on my tooth. part of the metal came off and i was so scared that a hole on tooth was exposed. i have not seen a dentist in years and my brother and husband recommended me to go see dr julio de la fuente. i did. i explained to him i was so scared. he listened with patience. he very kindly explained all that my tooth needed and how and when and he was so detailed and so professioanl about everything. he even placed a substance on part of my gum to numb it so the injection would not hurt. let me tell u. it did not hurt at all. i didnt even feel the injection. wow. i was so happy no pain at all. then, he worked on my tooth and he had an assitant lili helping my mouth so i would be ok and that i would be safe. i felt so safe and protected. after dr julio was done, i even felt sleepy...thats how relaxed i was. i couldnt believe it. and let me tell u what happened after 2 hrs. when i was home after dr julio's help, the numbness began to go away and my father in law told me it was going to hurt me afterwards. but i noticed it did not hurt at all not eveb after anestecia was gone. i felt at peace and so happy my tooth was in excellent condition. i had no pain before during and after the procedure. i thank god for sending me to dr julio because i did and had trauma and fear of dentists working on my mouth. but thanks to dr julio, i am not afraid and i have peace. thank u dr julio from the bottom of my heart for bieng kind patience understanding and professional, and my family thanks u too. may god bless you for ever and ur family. i recommend dr julio de la fuente 100%. fuerte abrazo y bendiciones. atentamente monica mariel
