This fantastic Italian brasserie is located in the heart of the bustling Saint Severin area of the Latin Quartier. It has a cozy patio for dining alfresco. The restaurant is modern inside with a trendy upstairs dining area. There are tons of shops, patisseries and restaurants of all types and cuisines in the area. We decided to try this Italian restaurant while strolling through the narrow quintessential Parisian streets in the Latin Quartier. I opted for the Escalope du Poulet (chicken breast with pasta in a white sauce) and husband had the Salami Pizza. The chicken breast was seasoned and cooked perfectly! It was tender, juicy and delicious. I could actually cut it with a fork. To be honest, it was one of the best meals that I had in Paris, and believe me we tried plenty of places. Husband's pizza was very good too. Our waiter was friendly and provided good service as well. I can't speak for the experience of others, but we definitely were treated well and the food was outstanding! We would definitely come back again. Bellissimo!

Service was okay. Server was nice but we had to wait a little for drinks. The food was very nice though. I recommend the bolognese pasta. However, I'm sure there are better places out there.

we had a great experience at a restaurant in St Michel the previous night...fellow san diego yelper Ernesto L. recommended it to me...so we ventured back to the neighborhood the next day.. we decided on pizza and came here....big mistake. I really don't want to waste too much time on this review, but in a nutshell. 1) we got a great outside table ... 2) we ordered... 3) they brought us our wine fairly quick (compared the rest of the meal) 4) we ordered the fixed meal...salad, pizza, dessert... 5) about 20 minutes till we received our salad... 6) about 45 + minutes till we got our pizza (i actually had to ask 3 times for it)...they didn't even put it in the oven till the 2nd request...the 3rd request i actually had to get up and find someone... 7) dessert...ice cream...i also had to hunt them down and i found out that our ice cream was just sitting out in the kitchen melting... 8) we spent probably 2 hrs on a meal that should have taken 30 minutes... now on a positive note...food was cheap and good, wine was cheap and good... i wouldn't waste my time returning here though..we found a MUCH better pizza place near our hotel (we were taken there by local Parisian friends 2 days later)..much better food and much better service

The pasta arrabiata and pasta carbonara were both really fresh and tasty, and big portions.

We settled on Ober Mamma, which had wonderful reviews. We got there, there was a line and it was raining. the chances of having a sit-down meal at this packed place were grilled, until they gave us the opportunity to sit outside. We immediately jumped not he opportunity, and immediately ordered. Franchesco came out with his wide happy smile and took our order. He a delight to have wait on us. We ordered the mortadella with pieces of parmigiano, a Smoking Hot pizza, and La Fameus Pate a la Truffe. We also ordered a nice bottle of wine from Sicily, Franchesco's homeland. The pizza and the pasta came out first, and we started eating right away. The pizza had the right amount of heat, and the pasta was not overwhelmed with truffles. Then came the mortadella which was delicious. We would have preferred the mortadella first, but we happy ate it. Inside, the place is huge, and loud. The ambiance is modern and feels upscale. As with all places in Europe, the temperature inside was hot- so we were actually happy to be sitting outside. Luckily we were not getting wet under the awning, but it was cold. Luckily, this place also provides blankets for your legs which we happily used. At the end of our meal, Franchesco brought us some Lomoncello and hung out with us telling us about Italy & France. We had an amazing evening, great food, and even better company. Give this place a try. You will not be sorry.

Open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs happily cooking or cooking all stressed out lol. Our server was Izaya very friendly, well spoken and caring. He ensured our allergies were taken care of. He was fast with his service and continuously checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Now food, mama Margherita pizza was freshly made so you have to really wait it out before taking a bite to ensure you don't burn your mouth. Pizza was evenly baked and crust was even yummy. Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. We ordered a small salad which was a generous portion for all of us. Good variety of wine list and very reasonably priced. Tiramisu was one of the dessert options and every bite met all our expectations. Overall great experience here they do squeeze a lot of people in there so you could be elbowing your neighbor on another table.

Marzo - Sharing a pizza with my sister. Appreciate that they cut it in half for us! Also, the chilli oil was the best I've ever had.

Very cute ambience and, most importantly, delicious food. A little pricey (average for that area really) but very much worth it. The grilled vegetable & mozzarella appetizer was also a stand out. This all happened tonight when we visited for dinner. I ordered 4 appetizers and 3 pizzas. One appetizer was like a salad on top of ham. I was enjoying it when I bit down on something extremely hard that felt immediately like a tooth broke. I spit out a small gray object that looked liked glass or a piece of rock... more like glass that has layers and shine. Immediately my tongue starts feeling around and I feel a jagged edge on my upper back tooth that was never there. I immediately informed the closest person who was possibly a busboy or server named Louis I think. He asked me for the piece I bit into and I gave it to him without thinking I needed to take a photo of it. He took it to the back and threw it away! So he says it must have been a "nut". Obviously it was not a nut and the salad doesn't even have nuts in it! The staff... the man, the waitress, and the other server all as polite as can be start ignoring any of my requests to retrieve the piece I bit into and my requests to talk to a manager. It felt like they were laughing at my situation because every time I asked them a question, they would go talk to each other and laugh and would not answer the questions I was asking. Unhappy at not getting any sympathy from them or an apology, I finally asked them for more information about filing a claim for repairing my broken tooth and the server named Alice (I think... my French is bad), gave me the email address of someone to contact for Human Resources. They offered to have their insurance pay for any treatment so I guess I will take them up on it. I will update my review once they get back to me.
