In Rincon for a few days and this was a great shop to rent some gear for some self-guided shore diving. Service was great, overall gear was good. One reg set had a leaky hose and the other had a ripped up mouth piece, making it hard for reg to stay in. Told them about it on return. Rambo took care of what we needed and guided us where we could do some simple shore diving. Afterward, he gave us the DL on the bar hangouts that would not be as crowded. Oh and they are off the grid. Rain water collection and solar panels. Very very cool and eco-conscious! read more

Very friendly and helpful. They took great care to ensure that all of their clients were fitted properly with gear and knew how to use it. Tiger, our divemaster, was careful to keep track of all of us - not easy with a group that included novices and experienced people who set off in all directions - and still managed to find and point out a nurse shark resting on the bottom in about 10 feet of water! First off... WOW, what amazing views on the west side of island. A group of us travelled over 3000 miles to Puerto Rico for scuba diving exploration. A quick search through PADI Travel lead us to Rincon Diving, which already had good reviews. My group rented some tanks and did a dive about 30 miles north of the shop. From the sole perspective of renting equipment, Rincon Diving makes it easy and fast to rent gear for your dive or snorkel. We had tanks and weights loaded up in under half hour and the shop was kind enough to recommend a diving destination. We later went there and were more than satisfied with the recommendation. Afterwards, we returned the shop and hired an instructors service for a guided tour. A short drive and short swim off the coast later, and we were able to reach some significant depths and see some really cool aquatic life. The water this time of year (July) was clear and visibility ranged from 25-50 feet depending on which part of the island you are on. It seems Rincon has the calmer seas and, as a result, some very clear water. In winter months, visibility gets better, so we were told. If I ever make it back out to Puerto Rico, im going to Rincon Diving again. Thank you to instructor Matthew and staff for making this trip memorable. read more

I did dive with Mathew at daytime and Matt at night dive, they are absolutely amazing! Both of them are super friendly and nice. We had so much fun during the dive. Extra credit to Matt, he found my friend's lost GoPro under the sea during the night dive! And I locked myself out of my car after the dive tour. He got people to help me out at around 9:30pm at the beach. Life saver of the day! read more

I haven't had the chance to go scuba diving for the last 2 1/2 years so was a bit nervous to go, but the staff was super friendly and patient. The first morning I dove with 3 other people and our guide Brenda. The next morning I did a reef wall dive with Matt as the guide. Overall had a great time and felt comfortable getting back into the swing of things! They are very covid conscious and clean everything pretty well (if you're worried about that). You can also rent all your gear if you need for a reasonable price. My friend did a beginner discover lesson with Matt and really enjoyed it. To start off I haven't been to Puerto Rico since I was a child, my aunt and I had this trip planned for over two months. The main things I told her I wanted to do was swim at the waterfalls and horseback riding. Yesterday she told asked if I wanted to go snorkeling, of course I told her yes!! So we looked up some places in Rincon because we were going to see my great aunt. When we arrived we checked in and met Tiger!! He was beyond amazing, he made sure we knew what to expect and educated us about the marine life and how important it was to protect any and all marine life. Once we arrived to Black Eagle Beach he helped us get ready and off we went. We saw so many of the sea life in the Marina, we were even able to see and photograph a Sea Turtle and a Shark. He answered any and all questions I had and was very helpful and made sure to inform us if he spotted anything worth seeing. I enjoyed it so much that we plan on coming back in November but this time we want to go Scuba Diving. I just want to say thank you all for making my trip to PR beyond memorable. We came to Rincon just to go diving. I'm a PADI Advanced Open Water diver but my girlfriend had never been before. Rincon Diving & Snokeling was very accommodating to taking us out on a dive and letting me tag along on her DSD. Unfortunately on the day we went the waves and weather weren't cooperating and we almost had to cancel our dives but Brenda was able to take us to a different location. Brenda was great with instruction. Whethr you're doing your first dive or you're experienced and looking for a place in Puerto Rico to dive, I don't think you can go wrong with Rincon Diving & Snorkeling. We didn't go on a tour, but they are so amazing that I had to say something. We went in because our snorkel clip broke. They were SO helpful and we got something way better than a clip. They gave us recommendations on where to snorkel since things just weren't working out where we had planned. They quite literally saved our day. We had a large group of 12 with half of us not being strong swimmers or non swimmers. Mac was timely, patient and made sure we all were proeprly outfitted for the snorkeling activity. We all had a great time and all of us saw lots of fish- as a non swimmer, I personally felt safe when Mac accompanied me out to sea about 30 feet from shore and 10 feet deep water so I coud see urchins and other fish. The owner, Brenda, helped me order a piece of equipment that I needed so it would be ready when I arrived. We will continue to go to here for the rest of our trip. My husband and I went out three times with Brenda over the last two months. I had had a previous bad experience in Florida and had a lot of anxiety about scuba diving. Brenda helped calm my nerves and was incredibly patient. We ended up seeing some amazing sights - so many beautiful tropical fish, colorful coral reef formations, even some sting rays and a sea turtle! She knew all the best places to go around Rincon and showed us a wide variety of sites. The best part for me was finally actually enjoying the scuba experience and feeling comfortable doing it.
