Recently, due to the closure of the Upper Marlboro location, I began shopping at the Brandywine location and for the first time ever after spending thousands of dollars over the years, I returned an item that cost less than $25. To my surprise, I was the subject of a profanity laced diatribe from a female owner of the store who excoriated me for making the wrong purchase which required her to a do what she called " a time consuming credit card refund". I began shopping at R&D Cross when the southern part of Upper Marlboro had one fast food restaurant and you saw store employees at church or the grocery store. That period has passed. What remains is my insistence that I treat others with respect and be treated the same way. Regrettably, I shall never make another R&D Cross purchase.

The owner's name is actually Henry, and he was pleasant and helpful as we discussed questions and next steps for my snow blower repair needs. Note: Ray's does not schedule appointment dates for snow blower repairs or tune-ups before November. This makes sense, as Henry explained, he recommends you service seasonal equipment at the beginning of its designed season to guarantee trouble free operation. Scheduling the mobile truck service was quick and easy via Ray's web page, confirmation emails and calendar events are sent to the customer. You Do NOT have to be present for the appointment as long as the equipment is accessible on your property. The service ticket is left in your mailbox, and final payment can be handled by phone.
