Believe it or not - it was horrible. My 8 year old daughter was not impressed by any means. I also had my 6 month old son in his stroller -- no restroom until the end of the exhibit. So we were directed to go to the restroom next door at the arcade which has NO changing table, not family friendly at all. After climbing 2 sets of stairs we get to the top to find the exhibit itself is a joke, half of the things the advertise to get you in there are not even inside the location & what they did have is boring. It was stinky, dusty & outdated. All the way through there were "quarter machines" so parents be ready to get begged for quarters because apparently that's the only interesting thing in the exhibit. I read online that it took 1.5 to 2 hours to walk through - HA! Try 20 mins max. What I have to say to anyone thinking of visiting this place - save your money & go else where! read more

Waste of money. Don't bother. There are a few and I do mean few interesting things in there but the walk thru is very short. Not worth it.

What a rip off! It's not much to see and they try to nickel and dime you to death after you already paid to see other things. Complete turn off and not worth the price. Kinda like a freak show. Had so much fun with my sister and our 2 boys. Wouldn't have to do this again with out boys. Wasn't as fun as the other Ripley's attractions for them. They did enjoy the first section with the worlds tallest person. read more

The aquarium is okay and can be fun, but mostly for kids. Most, if not all, the coral and scenery in the tanks are fake. So if you've been to a real aquarium then this may not be for you - but if you've got some young ones and are looking to kill a few hours, this may be for you. read more

Never been in a Ripley's Believe it or Not before this. It was okay, lots of artsy bits and interesting facts. It was a quick walkthrough. Not really something to do more than once. A lot of really fake looking exhibits. A lot of pictures and descriptions. Good for kids mostly. read more

Handicapped patrons and strollers beware of this place. They have one elevator to go to the top floor where all the exhibits are. And, they have to call someone to operate it for you. I had my granddaughter who uses a wheelchair. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come and operate the elevator. I should have known better but again had to wait for the elevator operator again when time to leave. I had to carry the wheelchair down 2 flights of stairs. Workers have no compassion either. Smaller aquarium than I expected but plenty to see. I have to say that they do give THE BEST military discounts around. My husband is a veteran and received a 50% discount for his service. Great family fun time. read more

Went there with the family, was not impressed. Not like the Ripley's in San Antonio. The only part which we enjoyed was the interactive dancing. That's because my son is a good dancer. read more

I thought it was cool to see all the different and unique things that ripleys shows on television. It has been a while since i went back, but i remember having a lot of fun there. I would recommend it for anyone visiting South Carolina. Good for people of all ages! read more

Very cool I just wish the rest of Ripleys was as good. But I love all the cool info on strang thing they had.

The ONLY thing that I liked about this place was the area where you walk through a cone type thingy that spins, but if you can't handle motion and dizziness, don't try it. The rest of the place was a total waste of money. You can do the whole thing in 15 minutes, unless you read about each exhibit. Most of the exhibits are pictures or mock items, for example a four legged animal with 6 legs. Save your $17 PP the 5D theater was horrible also. read more

Ripleys was very entertaining for my husband and I. William got us to upgrade our tickets just by how nice and informative he was. He showed us where we could park for free! Went to Ripley's believe it or not odditorium yesterday with my dad, my younger sister, my boyfriend, and his little sister. I mentioned the "Carolina deal" to the guy and he said "since there's 5 of you then I expect to see 5 IDs." Which I then replied "but these other two are kids" and he wanted to be a smart ass and say "well I had an ID when I was a kid" ... -.- kids in my area of NC don't have ID's and even if they had a student ID it's not going to say that they're residents of NC... -.- but besides all of that I thought that it was interesting but it's not a place I'll tell people to definitely go visit. read more

Pretty decent time if you've never done it before. Me and girlfriend both got in for 10$ a piece due to the "Carolina deal" special they were running at the time. I can say that it was fun however I'm glad I didn't pay full price, it could have been longer and even the arcade games at the end were overpriced. Lied to get us into the theatre. Told us we could get two attractions for a certain price. We went in one attraction and when we tried to go in another, they told us we couldnt. Wouldnt refund our money, wouldnt let us go in another attraction. They admitted that we were lied to and wouldnt fix it. read more
