Finally had to cancel. they used to be a great value. However, they are constantly raising prices without notifying customers. The final straw was last month when they raised the price to $37.63. I drove in, cancelled membership. I had tried to cancel in the past over the phone but they never answer phone, don't return calls and act like they don't get message. The wash is constantly breaking, out of order, or features you pay for don't work, like dryer or tire shine. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Love this car wash! They not only provide a great car wash but they have vacuums and glass cleaner and air in triggered hoses so you can blow dust out of your air vents and wash your windows with glass cleaner too. Staff is super nice too! read more

I don't often update my reviews, but when I do, it's for a good reason, or two. We have been taking my car to Riptide for over three years, and my husband added his truck a year or so ago. We pay monthly for unlimited car washes, including running the car through twice when that sticky pollen doesn't wash off initially. Members even have a dedicated lane! But I have several reasons for docking stars now. The lone wet/dry mat cleaner has been out of service for more than 6 months. Yes, they have/had only one, for at least two dozen cleaning stations. Possibly as a result, the vaccuums at each station don't seem to have as much suction as in the past, maybe because everyone has to clean their mats with the vacuums. And despite other car washes offering compressed air nozzles, Riptide does not. To top off their lack of services, they are raising the monthly fee for current members of all tiers, as well as for the single car wash customers. I am on the fence about continuing my membership at Riptide. The location is very convenient for me. However, I am not optimistic that their increased revenue will result in a working mat cleaner nor any other improved/additional services. read more

Not too happy with the service. Paid $27 for the car wash. Car was wet. When drying the windows the towels were greasy. The tire shine did not shine the tires. The tires all around were dirty. I have tried this carwash a couple times and I just can't write too much that is good. The first time I came here the carwash put soap on my car, but did not rinse it. I came back again today and paid for the $15 option. I know it's pretty price for an automatic carwash, but thought it was wash pretty good. Well it didn't. I could have gone to one of the $5 automatic carwash and had a much better job. I actually have gone to the $5 ones and had a better job. The only good thing I can say is the vacuums are really good. Tyler denied my complaints and tried telling me he didn't see any scratches in the video footage- which by the way, would not have been able to pick up the scratches even if zoomed in. Refused to acknowledge the bristles scratched my car because of the "directions" of the scratches-- Did not even offer to give me back my money. HORRIBLE customer service. Self service car washes have been around for decades, but in recent years innovation allows a driver to go through a professional grade car wash without leaving their vehicle. Riptide wash, is the only one that I have used which has towel service for cleaning windows and drying your vehicle. They also offer an automatic mat cleaner and of course an automatic vacuum system. Basically I can clean my car entirely without having a stranger do any of the work. However, staff is their making sure that all of the ports are clean and stocked with supplies. This works for me and is convenient. The cost was $15 dollars including tax and no tipping. Overall this is a great alternative for a do it yourself wash and has all of the bells and whistles of a full service wash. read more

I have a Jeep so I know it's a harder car to get clean. I typically wash it myself, but I was out running errands and drove past this car wash and decided to get a quick wash. My car was pretty dirty so I decided to do the most expensive wash. After the wash I noticed my windshield was still dirty and the front of my car was still dirty, again probably not the car washes fault but most likely due to my car being a weird boxy shape. As I was pulling out I noticed this sign. I usually don't complain but it was a $25 wash so I decided to go inside and see what my options were. The two guys in there were soooo nice, didn't make me feel like I was annoying for complaining, offered to run my car through again, and gave me my money back. It's rare to find such great customer service and a company that really sticks to their word with service guarantees. 12/20/21 I was inside the car wash on the rollers with my car in neutral, when I was pushed into the truck in front of me causing my Honda $600 in damages. The workers quickly rushed over shocked at the collision. The trucks break lights never came on. The drying section the truck was on was not moving, while the wash rollers I was on continued to roll forward, causing the collision. The general manager Tyler chambers was not on site at the time. I went back two days later to view the security footage which he would not allow me to copy or record on my phone. He had it recorded on his phone. Would not show me the footage from inside the wash (showing the back of our cars) he would not pull footage up on the security monitor. There was a camera view in the car wash he was unwilling to replay. Tyler did ask me to bring a quote for damages, as "the owner might be nice and pay for it" so I did. However after doing so he continued to deny responsibility. Tyler then tried to place responsibility on the truck driver saying not only did he break his truck, but that the truck driver (Sergio) told him he applied his breaks and that's what caused the collision. I was in contact with Sergio who clearly stated he did not break nor did he tell Tyler he did so. The security footage also did not support Tyler's claims. While re-visiting the car wash on 01/04/22 I spoke to Andrew a mechanic working on the car wash from Florida car wash solutions. He clearly explained that there is a security mechanism on the machine in the event a vehicle were to break- it would set off a sensor stopping the rollers/ the movement of cars. I asked to speak with the owner of the company, Tyler would not provide me with the information, as he told me the owner said he could not share his name or information. This Business is clearly operating a high tech machine with multiple pieces of personal property inside negligently. read more

Luis is an amazing asset to this business establishment, going over and beyond the call of duty to take care of his customers. My daughter had the unfortunate dilemma of her car not starting at the close of business while at Riptide Car Wash. She was told by AAA that a tow truck would arrive in approximately 2 hours at 10 pm. My daughter was alone, however Luis told her that he would stay and wait with her until I arrive. I was coming from Brandon and it would be at least 45 minutes before I could get there. Not only did Luis wait the 45 minutes for me to get there, but he continued to wait with us until AAA finally showed up, which was 11:50 pm, almost 4 hours after they were called. Luis expressed his concern for our safety and said he would not leave until we left. During this entire 4 hours Luis was very kind, patient, and caring. Simply put he was just amazing. read more

I drove my Jeep through the Riptide Car Wash. In the middle of the machine where the top spin brush comes down it got hooked onto my roof light bar and picked up my whole Jeep off tracks for a good 5-7 seconds, pushed the Jeep back as my Jeep was shaking with the side spin brushes still active and spinning. This situation nearly cause the vehicle behind me to hit me. Finally my Jeep was dropped and push through the Car Wash Machine. When I pulled out from the Machine I pulled into the parking area where vehicles vacuum the interior. I got out my vehicle and saw my light bar forced twisted down (facing down) and I looked at the roof of Jeep and I found slices on the roof, light bar is chipped and there's a bent spot on back side of light bar since it was twisted to face down with back of light bar facing to sky. I made a report on same day with personnel and they informed me that a manager would contact me on Monday. I called them Monday afternoon and reach out to a manager that informed me that no one informed them that there was an incident with a a Jeep damage. So the manager informed me he would have the General Manager review the video and contact me. Today (Tuesday) the GM of the car wash just left me a voice message starting he viewed the video and "clearly" can see that all the scratches and damage where already on top of Jeep roof prior to entering the machine. No one can visibly see the slices on top unless their eyes can see it in person. I would rate 0 if I could for bad customer service. The car wash doesnt even wash your car properly. read more

This place was good when it first opened, but parts are constantly broken leaving your vehicle.... unwashed (and wet). If you encounter a problem with their service, good luck. The owner/manager Mike / Michael will make sure you know when your membership can cancel. Doesn't even try and help. Sad, because it used to be a great place. Not surprised many vehicles have been damaged since using RIPTIDE Long short: Mike, the owner, will be of no assistance should there be any problem with his car wash. They do have cool lights just for kids! Mike loves the lights. P.S I throw away each free air freshener tossed at you before entering. The smell is awful. read more

I don't write reviews often, but this place has been the only place I go to for 2 years now. My car and tires shine crystal-jet black at all times. Thanks to the high quality products and fairly new equipment being used at this place. I love the high powered vacuum, it easily sucks out dirt in a jiffy. I would have given a 5-star rating if they provide pre-scrubbing prior to the wash rather than having to do it myself. Although, I do appreciate the drying cloth provided and other cleaning amenities. read more
