You order at the counter first, then find a table and sit down. They bring the food to you when it's ready. Fountain drinks are self serve, so you can refill them as needed. The person at the counter was helpful when we were deciding what to order, which made the process easier. The food came out fairly quickly and everything was hot, fresh and very flavorful. We got the mixed chicken, yams, fries and mac and cheese and all of it was sublime. The chicken stood out the most, well seasoned and cooked just right. The fried plantains and hot rolls are worth adding. Both were very good and complemented the meal well. There was also a man playing trumpet and a DJ, which added a nice background energy. It felt lively without being overwhelming and it made the experience fun for me and the kids. Overall, it was a smooth, predictable setup with great food and a comfortable atmosphere. I would go back.

We are unfamiliar with this kind of food and found the menu a little confusing to order from - only because we had a large group and there were so many options for every entree. Also you have to order at the cashier so trying to remember everyone's order was tough! We enjoyed trying something new but overall we didn't love it, again it's out of our normal you may love it. I recommend doing the family platters versus individual ordering to save price wise! Seating was plenty for the size of space and there were a lot of people coming in.

But now that I live in a bigger city, I thought, "Let me go ahead and try some real, authentic Jamaican beef patties!" And WOW, these did not disappoint! They were so, so good. The meat inside was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the crust was super flaky and crispy. I genuinely enjoyed every bite. I'll definitely be coming back to try the oxtails and some of their other food. If the beef patties are any indication, I'm excited to see what else they have!

I am glad we did because we were told it takes 40 minutes to cook it. We ordered it and drove there. We walk in and go straight to the counter to order more dishes. We got the ox tail and decided to eat what we ordered and then order some more The fish came with 2 sides we got the cabbage and plantain! Oh boy! Everything was absolutely delicious! Whatever sauce they used on the fish is bursting with flavors! The cabbage? I can swim in a tub of that! The plantain? Usually I only take a bite of plantain and never finish it it is cooked to perfection! The oxtail?!! Fall off the bone! The potatoes with it? I am salivating now thinking of it! The place is filled with Jamaicans! One group comes in and one group leaves! I was in my little heaven of cultures! If you come here my suggestion is to pair your meal with a cola champagne! Do not question it just do it! Everything is served in disposable plates and containers. We didn't seem to mind it. I will definitely be back!

The ginger beer was spicy but it wasn't anything that I would order again. The shrimp, cabbage and rice and peas were delicious. The beef patty was a little burned but still good. I'm grateful that a Jamaican restaurant opened up a little closer to me and I didn't have to drive further out to San Pedro and 410 or 151 and Military. The soup was so good I wanted to lick the bowl! Smooth, creamy, nutty, spicy, rich, everything you want in a good groundnut! And the chicken was fried to perfection! The consistency was just right, not too soft, not too hard, didn't taste look like hen, but it might have been. Two glasses of red wine, and my full plate later and I felt as if I needed to nap! Also there was a family sitting behind me, I believe they were Nigerian because the husband was saying how Sweet Sweet his food was, and the wife and kids all raved as well! So it wasn't just me, everyone was happy oooo!
