We do have an issue with to go orders now. They have replaced the human on the phone with an AI bot. It doesn't work. It gets our orders wrong all the time. This is my first visit and it's about 20 min from my house. Kids wanted to come because they wanted the Hot Cheeto burrito. Cute little place that looks like it's been there for years. Could use some updates and new booths but overall it was okay. As I walked in, I instantly smelled dirty mop. Wasn't too thrilled with that one. But I've worked in food service before so I get it. Don't like it, but I get it. I ordered the Asada fries and the Normitas Nachos. Both kids ordered their own burrito. We had Lemonade, a sweet tea, and a Mexican coke. Chips and salsa were served. The chips were a tad stale and the salsa could use a little more love (flavor). Everything we ordered tasted so good. The waitress was friendly and got our food out to us without any issues. But after that she came by maybe 2 more times then we never saw her after that. We got our own to-go boxes from the counter and just made our way to the register after waiting for her for a bit. I think I would want to go back to actually try the food whether it be for breakfast or lunch. But something other than the appetizers to get more of a taste of their regular menu items. They have made some changes to the ordering process so you can order at the table which made the dining experience better and a much more service oriented. Oh Normas... this place used to be the go Too for the area for many years. Ever since covid, they are struggling to get back to their old glory days. Their food is still good l, but service has taken a hit and does not seem to be recovering. I suggest the togo window and just take it back home. Ordered the 3 puffy tacos/3 cheese enchiladas from website menu price $13.99, price posted on the drive thru menu is $12.99 but when she gave me the price at the pickup window $15.99. I went ahead paid it, however I asked why all the different prices, I got no answer. So. I get home, cheese enchiladas were okay, however the small puffy tacos were not edible due to fact the masa is so tough, like they were pre-fried hours ago, not even chewable & taste old, or fried in old grease. Very disappointed as this somewhat occurred the last time I ordered thinking it was just a off night in cooking fresh. Well it wasn't. I Will not be back as that with a drink $3.25 ($2.29 at the drive thru menu - $2.99 on website) for a total of $21.65. Had to ask for hot sauce & no utensils included. I would rather pay a real true price of the food & a to go container fee, as I roughly like to know the cost before I pay, but they will no longer receive my business. To many different prices for something that I feel like is gouging the customer for food that only part was somewhat descent enough to eat. Too expensive for a plate of food & a drink. We have been going to Norma's since the very first day that the restaurant opened. We have noticed that the service has been changing but tonight will be our last visit. I wanted the 2 person order of fajitas. Price on the menu is $27.99. The cashier told us the price is $29.99. My wife called her attention to the menu price but she stood firmly on the higher price. And yes there were other items that had been increased and the price was clearly marked. We've been coming to Norma's for 6 years. We love staying local so that we don't drive to S. A. Norma's never disappoints. I really love their cheese enchiladas, carne guisada, barbacoa, menudo, and chicken tortilla soup. The rice and beans (I usually go for charro beans in my lunch and dinner meals) are very flavorful too. Love the staff as well! read more

If you're hungry, this is the place to go! Portions are generous and there's a huge menu to select from. I loved that they were busy but we're still very attentive and gave me updates while waiting. Donna was my cashier and server, 5 stars to her professionalism, attentiveness and customer service alone. She also knew the menu very well and answered my questions without hesitation. I had the Cali Burrito and it was delicious! It also came with a side of fries covered in melted cheese. I will definitely come back to try additional items on the menu. This place is lacking real management! Call in orders are consistently not ready at the given time for pick up, drive thru customers are left at the window for 10, 20 up to 30 minutes sometimes without any employee attention. Walk in customers are also left at the register for up to 15 minutes before order is taken. Numerous times have driven to location attempting to call in an order, only to walk in and find out that the phone was "accidentally" left off the hook. With all of this business they can't even afford to upgrade their pot-holed parking lot/drive thru. At least do something, anything right for your customers! read more

We ate here today and the food was good but at our table next to our food is a roach(still alive and kicking). It took us at least 10mins of trying to get our waitress to tell her of the roach still kicking and fighting on the window against the table. She was very apologetic but did nothing(which we should not have had to pay for our food or at least our bill been discounted) she tried telling the manager or woman in charge and was ignored. The waitress also said she has been telling them they need to spray(clearly showing they are having a problem) So nothing was done about the terrible experience we had today and we will not be going back! read more

I've had to come here with my family over the years and have always disliked it strongly. This place is known to have roaches crawling around the tables, and the tables are always dirty. From my experience the food isn't worth going again. Lots of people who live around here go there but it's mostly because of how long Norma's has been here. Definitely go to Chile Verde or El Valle De Mexico down the street. read more

Have eaten here multiple times. Tex-Mex is very good, particularly the enchiladas. Thin chips and spicy salsa. Often order their nachos, the ones with fajita meat, guacamole, tomatoes & onions with jalapeños on the side. These are very good. The food is reasonably priced, especially their lunch specials. We think their breakfast tacos are also very good. Homemade flour tortillas makes them better. read more

Favorite plate is the burrito plate. I come here often because they have great food served by great people.

Sometimes this is the best Mexican food around, other times their service is so awful it makes you not want to come back. Like keeping a customer on hold long enough for them to drive to another restaurant, order, and drive home before they even acknowledge you. Then other times the cook just makes whatever tacos he feels like. You never know if you'll get what you actually ordered or not. But when they're actually good, it's absolutely phenomenal food read more
