He transformed my hair from red to blonde with minimal damage and made it look amazing! I like changing my hair color around by playing with pale pastel toners and now he created a black panel on my bang exactly the way I wanted. He is worth the drive from L.A to Redondo Beach. I know friends that drive from Ontario just to see him!!! His salon is beautiful, tranquil and Manuel is a true ARTIST. I recommend booking your appointment way ahead of time! You won't regret it!

Gabii is the nail tech to go to if you want someone who's not afraid to go in on your toes. A lot of places can color your toes pretty, but I always felt like they weren't clean enough, especially when taking out ingrown nails. These are the Halloween nails she did for me.

The trim itself was fine, but the stylist's attitude made the experience very uncomfortable. Throughout the appointment she repeatedly made negative comments about my hair, including saying it was "all over" and that I had "so much breakage" I "didn't have a middle part." Constructive feedback is one thing, but the delivery felt unnecessarily dismissive and critical. The overall atmosphere was not welcoming, and I left feeling uncomfortable rather than taken care of. I don't plan to go back. read more

I can't remember the last time I loved my hair this much, if ever... I came to see Manny to correct another stylist's work, which is not easy. On top of it, I have difficult hair. He's the first person that I've shown pictures to and he actually did what I saw in the pix. He just understands hair and he's super talented. Also, everyone else's hair looked incredible when they left. The salon uses high quality products and everyone does great work. read more

I saw Trinity's TikTok on my for you page and instantly followed when I saw she was local. A month or so later, she gave me the BEST haircut of my life! I came in not exactly sure what I wanted, but needing to fix a cut I didn't like. We talked and she quickly figured out exactly what we should do! The salon is super nice too, great lighting and spacious with great parking & a restroom. Trinity and I talked and laughed the entire time, which was genuinely so fun and felt like hanging out with an old friend. Don't want this cut to grow out, but can't wait to see her again!! Manny is fantastic! When I first came here, I only had a vague idea of the look I wanted. The words "balayage", "toner", and "babylights" were not really in my vocab, but I said something along the lines of "lighter, low maintenance and somewhat gray-ish?". I came out of there with a beautiful gray-blonde balayage that lasted for months and months. Given how light my hair had gotten, I was surprised the texture was still smooth and soft - a testament to how well Manny knows his stuff and protected my hair from excessive chemicals. My next time back, he brought the colour up higher with thin strips of babylights to melt the balayage back into my new growth. Throw in some toner - bam, another beautiful session. Great prices and talented stylist. Glad to have found a place I can always go to. read more

Love love love Manny and his crew. I've been going here for over 10 years and Manny is amazing. He is creative, knows his clients and what they can pull off. Cuts hair like a God . He is hilarious and always makes me laugh and remembers my kids, my hubby. It's like hanging out with an old friend. He takes the time to make your hair perfect and the price is very fair for the attention you receive. I love that I can feel like a million dollars without paying it. Thanks Manny and crew for always looking after me and even now my 9 year old daughter. Is recently started a new job and he gave me a cool new look that is office chic. I love it. read more

You are so far the "Best" hairstylist and you are now my favorite stylist! I Love this Salon! First, they greet you with a friendly smile and serve water. Second, the assistant, Michael got me ready for shampoo and took care of everything before starting my haircut. Wow! Risqué Nails is simply the best nail experience I've ever had. Gabby is so detailed and meticulous and was not phased at all when asked for a half moon manicure or stripes or designs. I was happy to see they stock OPI. The salon is immaculate and it's constantly being cleaned. Great ventilation. The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is relaxing. This salon is the absolute best!! I was treated with great care with extras like a delicious vanilla coffee, but what I love the most is my hair!! Manny is a true artist and will make sure you look amazing when you leave. I went to Michael Cho after going to some many hairstylist in SouthBay particularly the redondo Beschloss area. He did not bleach my hair and I loved the cut and dye he did! Manny has done my hair since I was a child! I trust no one else with my hair. He's stylish, trendy and can give good advice on whether or not a cut or color will complement you well, if you ask. I say, if you ask because he is always very respectful about fulfilling the clients vision and wishes; he loves creativity. Aside from the talent, he is an awesome person with good conversation. I have a blast at his salon. He's like family now. He recently added a super talented eyebrow specialist: Natalie. I have had my fair share of terrible and even good eyebrow experiences but I must say, Natalie is my "eyebrow lady" forever!!! I've always had a hard time explaining my eyebrow vision to other eyebrow specialist and Natalie got it. I told her, "I want my eyebrows to look like I didn't get them done, very fluffy and bushy but I also want them clean and shaped. I also want sparse eyebrow hairs around my eyebrow to give it that untamed look." Sounds crazy, right? She literally understood and delivered! I definitely recommendher to all my ladies and gents who want thick, fluffy eyebrows and even to everyone who wants other shapes and styles. read more

i got my haircut with Yaya and she did great! not only did she understand what i wanted but she also added a little "umph" to my burgundy :) Daisy gave me a very much needed gel mani and also did awesome:) she paid close attention to detail and made sure my application was on point! I found Risque Beauty Lounge on Groupon for a half-off deal for highlights, cut and style from stylist Ashley Clark. I went in and didn't have to wait long before Ashley was there to help me out. We talked about what I wanted and she gave me a lot of pointers to what would look good for my style, hair type and skin tone. I am not much of a talker but Ashley made me feel very comfortable. I was there for a total of 2 and a half hours and it was a pleasant experience the whole time. She did the highlights, wash, glaze, rinse, trim, blow dry, trim some more, then style.
