Great find in Siracusa, Italy. A small restaurant close to the water. Woman owned. And her husband is the chef. We think this has been one of the most friendliest restaurants we have ever visited.
We were looking at the fresh seafood and asked lots of questions. We learned that their nephew was the fisherman and fishes each morning and that is the "Fresh Catch of the Day ". No more questions. We ordered the grilled red sapper and it was perfect. We wanted a focaccia but the oven was not ready... no problem. We ordered the Botarri...an Italian Sausage from Sicily. Bothe dishes were perfect. Halfway thru dinner a perfect focaccia arrived. Everything was perfect and the focaccia was complimented.
