There were countless truly amazing, giving, kind people at the luncheon and listening to their selfless and unbelievably generous contributions was too great for words even. It started with Dr. Randle a truly phenomenal Superintendent, a strong school board and superstar administrators and they undoubtedly maintain excellence campus-wide at each of the schools amongst staff entirely. By viewing their various social media outlets you will notice how much they show their appreciation taking every opportunity to give back to their devoted employees, it's amazing. Mrs. Ziebold, Mrs. Becerra, Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Dickerson and future administrators have our families' unending support and gratitude and we look forward to continuing to watch the district & it's success continue to grow and flourish! #betheonelcisd

At best, the program is lackluster--there are no real advantages here compared to better-priced, higher-quality options just down the street. What's worse is the staff. Time and again, I found them short, dismissive, and visibly annoyed when approached with questions or concerns. This is not the environment you want for young children, who need patience, kindness, and encouragement. Instead, the tone here feels cold and transactional--as though the children are simply numbers to be managed. I personally had a terrible experience, and after seeing similar stories from other parents, it's clear there's a troubling pattern. A preschool should be a safe, supportive space for both children and families. Sadly, School for Little Children fails on that most basic promise. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better programs in Sugar Land where your child will be welcomed with warmth, respect, and professionalism--qualities this place is sorely lacking.

Furthermore, during nap time my son reported the Aide hit him and other students with pillows if they were not falling asleep. She also would wake them up by hitting them on the face with wet paper towels. When I reported this and requested to observe the live feed video from their office, Director Ms. Monica and I both saw these actions taking place during nap time. The owner met with me and watched the recording with me stating this was against company policy. However, like what Director Ms. Monica said, she reiterated that "the two staff members had been working there for years and she would just need to train them better. They do not let their employees go which is why they have had them in place for over a decade." Can you imagine these abusive actions happening to your own child? Would you call CPS? I was so devastated, I could not bare that process and just took my son out of the school. I caution you, do pop up visits, ask questions about the staff and the accountability from their managers when inappropriate adults behaviors take place. My son recovered after going to a better school and is now thriving but keep in mind, yours might not. Don't take the risk!

Incidents of negligence were not isolated events but seemed to be embedded in their daily routines. This type of environment does not encourage growth or confidence in young minds, nor does it set a positive example for them to emulate. Instead of a healthy, open dialogue about the progress and wellbeing of our children, it felt as if we were walking into a gossip mill every time we stepped through the school doors. This certainly did not cultivate the trust and respect necessary for a successful partnership between parents and educators. What's more, the management of the school, particularly the director Monica, left much to be desired. There was a palpable lack of courtesy and respect extended towards their colleagues. The way the director seemed to treat her subordinates was uncomfortably reminiscent of an old-world hierarchy, akin to a lord and their serfs. In this day and age, such a demeaning approach is not just out-of-place but also deeply concerning. It's a harmful dynamic that certainly trickles down to the students and impacts the overall atmosphere of the school. In essence, a school should be a safe haven where children can learn, grow, and prepare for their future. Unfortunately, the unhealthy dynamics, poor management, and lack of respect for the dignity of all individuals at this school prevent it from living up to this essential role. My child suffered a significant bite injury during care that broke the skin, and I was not properly informed about the incident when it happened. What was even more concerning was that staff members appeared unaware of exactly how or when it occurred. A situation involving a child being injured should immediately be documented, communicated to parents, and closely monitored by staff and management. As a parent, I understand that toddlers can have incidents. The issue is not simply that a bite happened -- it is the lack of supervision, accountability, and communication afterward that is unacceptable. Parents trust daycare staff to maintain a safe environment and to provide immediate, clear communication when injuries occur. I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff awareness, incident reporting procedures, and parent communication moving forward, because no parent should discover the extent of an injury without proper explanation or timely notification.
