Most abusive and racist daycare on earth. In one instance they suffocated my child to near death…read morebecause of refusal to take a nap! They deleted all the recordings and swept it under the rug to make the incident untraceable. On a second occasion they sent my child with black eyes and pretended it was accident and refused to share the details of what happened. Our child told who did this, but we accepted the school BS because we thought they are ethical and there's no way for lack of dishonesty. The breaking point happened when they sent an email asking us to not bring our child to the daycare anymore because of shoving another child. I called them to ask why did our child shove another child? They said well, that child attacked first and took an item from your child, but your child didn't respond properly by asking the teacher for help and just shoved that child and retrieved the item by force. This is definitely not a place for people of color. They are full of racist BS and only good at collecting money without any accountability. They will call you to come and take your child if they hear any sneeze, or see a glimpse of a bored child, or not taking a nap...etc. of endless BS of just picking up on certain ones. By the way, most of their reviews on google are fake. Stacey and her staff were reporting this same review to google for removal and wrote 3 other fake reviews of 5 stars as a replacement in less than one day to keep themselves highly rated place. Pathetic.

Many childcare facilities were not accepting new children or were booked during this time, which limited our options. As a mother new to the area, I was very stressed about having a new home, a new baby, home construction, and the need for a new childcare facility. To say I was overwhelmed was an understatement. My husband and I selected a place and quickly realized there were challenges with management, turnover, and the general care of our children, and we knew we needed a change. Our kids were not being cared for. When we learned about Five Star through a neighbor and took a tour of the facility, we were convinced it was the place for us. Stacey Lowry, the Director of Five Star, made us feel at home, and we could tell she generally cares about our kids and wants them to succeed. I was hooked! Since then, we have experienced several teachers who have loved and nurtured our kiddos as they have moved from room to room. We are grateful for the connections with the teachers, families, and kids we have made along the way. And I don't have "mom guilt" since I know my kids are happy to go to school each and every day. I couldn't have asked for more - - even if I created the checklist myself!

She cares about each student. She ensures that each student loves learning and reading. I am impressed not only by the amount of patience she has, but also for the amount of compassion she has. She is a wonderful asset to the Goddard School. I love The Goddard School! This place is more than just a "daycare." It truly is advanced nurturing environment that focuses on education. I recently enrolled my son in this school when he turned three months old. I really loved the fact that the facility was clean, the faculty was diverse, knowledgeable, and personable, and the school holds major events (i.e, the science fair and the recycle fashion show) for all of the children, including the infants. Since he has been enrolled, he's been reaching all of his developmental milestones much quicker than other babies his age (according to his pediatrician). That alone is a testament to their hands-on activities that are tailored to helping each of the children reach such important developmental milestones. Specifically, Ms. Graciela and Ms. Susana are phenomenal because they worked with my son to create art projects that resulted in him holding his bottle three weeks after I enrolled him. They even read to him every day and send one free book home so we can read to him also. We were so happy with The Goddard School! I also love that they send pictures and the electronic daily report, detailing his naps, meals, diapers, and activities. These pictures and reports helped me transition back to work because I felt like I knew what my son was doing every single day. I really appreciate Ms. Graciela, Ms. Susana, and Ms. Cynthu make sure that they speak to my son in English and Spanish because we really like language immersion programs. Not only do they ensure that they speak to him in Spanish, but they teach me new words too! Finally, I would also like to recognize Ms. Tiffany and Ms. Terrie! They are amazing assets to the organization. They are friendly. They promptly send out notices. They even called to check on my son when he was out for a day after experiencing a fever from his immunization shots. They truly CARE!! Lastly, the school is very, very safe and secure. The security system only permits parents (and authorized guardians) to enter into the school by handprints. If you're looking for a school for your child, please do yourself a favor and select The Goddard School!!! We are very IMPRESSED by this school.

The environment is very welcoming to new comers. When we joined, we were new to the Montessori program. We jumped into the program mid way and the staff was very accommodating, helping successfully integrate our kids. Our children have excelled in terms of academics & behavior. My 5 year old twins LOVE to read. They are excited about learning and before bed each night, they want to get their books and read to us. The most valuable asset of the school are its teachers. Ms. Monica and Ms. Shila are both tops in terms of teaching. The classrooms are calm and always buzzing with activity. My children love to go to school, even Monday morning! Ms. Fi, the director, is always available to answer questions and the children love her as well. The support staff in the classrooms and Melissa, the assistant, are always friendly, have a genuine interest in the kids and always do it with a smile. I would highly recommend the school.

He…read morewas always treated kindly, and we appreciate the care and effort that his classroom teachers provided during his time there. Unfortunately, our experience with the administration was much different. When our family needed to withdraw our son, we provided three weeks' notice. We were informed that because we did not provide a full four weeks' notice, the school would retain our entire deposit. While we understand that policies exist for a reason, keeping the full deposit over a one-week difference felt unnecessarily rigid and disappointing, especially given the significant financial investment families make to attend this school. What was most frustrating was the lack of flexibility and consideration for our family's circumstances. A partial refund or compromise would have felt much more reasonable and demonstrated that the school values its relationship with families beyond simply enforcing policies. We also noticed a high amount of staff turnover during our time there. While we cannot speak to the reasons behind it, it was something that stood out to us. Additionally, several staff members we interacted with did not seem particularly happy or supported in their roles, which raised concerns for us about the overall culture of the school. If your primary concern is the day-to-day classroom experience, we had positive interactions with our son's teachers. However, if customer service, administrative flexibility, and financial fairness are important factors in your decision, I would encourage you to carefully consider those aspects before enrolling. For a school that requires a substantial financial commitment from families, we expected a more reasonable and family-centered approach. I will include that administration did offer what they described as an adjustment by allowing us to hold our deposit and apply it toward a future enrollment, and they stated that they would not charge another deposit if we chose to return. They appeared to view this as good customer service and a reasonable accommodation. However, these options were not helpful in our family's circumstances, and the school was aware of the reasons we were leaving. Re-enrolling was not a realistic option for us, so offering to preserve the deposit for a future enrollment did not address the actual issue we were facing. While we appreciate that an alternative was offered, it felt like a solution that the administration knew we would not be able to use, rather than a meaningful effort to work with our family on a fair resolution.
