Unfortunately, I couldn't find what I was looking for, but they did have a wide variety of clothes from men suits to a wedding dress (only 1 I saw) to regular daily wear. The items were sorted by size and price rack, which made it easier to browse. It was an okay thrift store and clean, but it wasn't my cup of tea regarding what they had. Regardless, I recommend just checking it out since each thrift store is different and may appeal to different people.

The store is really small, but I was really excited upon walking in, as the racks were really well stacked-they manage to cram lots of clothes, shoes, purses and accessories into that small space. I'm used to consignment shops in DC being fairly upscale though, and so I was surprised to see lots of mid-range labels-Jones New York and Anne Klein and the like. What shocked me most was when I spotted a pair of shoes which I recognized immediately as being from Payless, as I happen to own the exact same pair. The people working there must not be familiar with the label, as the shoes were marked at $25, whereas I bought them new for $18.99. In fact, I got the impression that as a whole, they weren't very knowledgeable about labels, as lots of inexpensive brands seemed to be overpriced. There were bargains to be had though, as some things seemed to be very under-priced. A $15 Zara skirt comes to mind (sadly a couple sizes too small for me though), as does a cashmere Sacs cardigan, which would have been a bargain were it not for the hideous bright pink color. Like many consignment shops, you could potentially find some great deals here if you have a lot of time and patience and have a basic idea of how much various labels are worth. Additionally, it could be a great place to consign if you have a lot of stuff that doesn't quite meet the standards of Secondi or some of the other more upscale consignment stores in the area, but want to try to make a few bucks rather than just donating it to Goodwill.

The owner listed it at $2,300 with a 55% payout and claimed it would sell within weeks. Instead, I spent six months chasing updates through texts, calls, emails, and website tickets. By summer, they stopped responding entirely. When I visited on September 2, they refused to answer a basic question without an appointment and made me wait until September 11. At that appointment, the owner repeatedly disparaged my bag as outdated, then told me it had sold for $1,875. She initially tried to pay me only 50%. Only after I produced the contract did she apologize and acknowledge the agreed 55%. Even then, my final payment was less than 55% because they deducted an undisclosed "processing fee" of several dozen dollars--something never mentioned throughout the entire process. Six months of silence, condescension, attempted underpayment, and a surprise fee. I'll take my other luxury bags to New York. Avoid this store.
