This is a cozy cafe with a mission. Located right near the Sun Rail station in Lake Mary, the interior is small but comfortable. They offer a selection of home made pastries and goodies as well as coffee and other drinks. I got the peanut butter latte which was tasty but pricey. The barista explained about the events that go on regularly at the cafe including a large language exchange and a game night. There is also a spacious and quaint outdoor space. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come to some of the events hosted here. read more

There's plenty of books to choose from, game nights and language exchange nights too Such a sense of community here, I really enjoy our time here. Eclectic little coffee shop with great potential! The avocado toast and salad were outstanding, and the chicken empanadas were the clear favorite. Coffee was delicious too. Love the shelves of books, though they're for in-store reading only. They also host game nights and events, which adds to the charm. I stopped at Rita's on my way to yoga one morning because I was very early. This cafe is incredibly cute, I love the books everywhere (I'm a big reader). The woman who took my order was very sweet and the empanada, quesito and coffee I ordered were all so so good. I also love that they have community events like game nights and language nights. Charming, charming, charming! This lovely cafe in Lake Mary was my first stop this Father's Day because I'd heard the hazelnut latte was very good. Facts! What I wasn't expecting was to find a cafe with such "international" asperations of connecting people via a safe space (right next to the Lake Mary Sunrail), tasty bites, and excellent coffee. French Cafe is worth the visit if you appreciate good service from friendly staff and mellow vibes surrounded by books and music and maybe a language exchange thrown in for good measure. This place is unique and special in so many ways. First the food! We ordered a chicken empanada from the many flavors offered. We also got a homemade guava pastry. Wow! They were delicious--I even bough another pastry to take home. Other food offerings that sound good: Shepherd's Pie (in its own little crock), quiche, tres leche cake and homemade macaroon. The latte was awesome and beautifully crafted. The ambiance is European casual--like you're in a little shop off a cobblestoned street in Paris. There's a piano available for those who play. Lots of games for young and old. Plus this is literally right next to the Lake Mary Sun Rail station. You can come from any part of Orlando and enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch. Parking is convenient. They also have several tables with umbrellas outside during nicer weather. A bonus--the owner, Derek, introduced himself explaining their Language Exchange weekly event. On Saturday nights at 6:00 pm, they have 30-40 people come to learn a new language from someone who speaks it. They have a table for English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, maybe more. These are the ones I remember. My friend and I felt like we were far away on vacation in some other country. I haven't been this excited over a new find in a long time. Well done, Derek! read more

This is such a wholesome place. Hubby and I stepped in for matchas and was met by the sweetest person who worked there. He was very patient and kind. He let us know about the community social gatherings the CAFÈ held (which are language meets, bible study, etc.) We ended up getting breakfast sandwiches along with matchas - and you can tell all of our items were made with care and love. The young man at the counter had such a wonderful attitude and sweet way with all of the customers. He made me a fantastic smoothie and even gave me a tad bit that was left over that wouldn't fit in the glass. What an adorable cafe in Lake Mary to grab a bite to eat near the Sunrail! French Cafe 1515 was an excellent place for drinks and light food. My friend and I took our kids here when we rode the Sunrail up from Winter Park. The cafe located literally right next to the Sunrail stop, so it's super convenient to go here. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We sat outside on the patio and she brought out our food to us. She even brought out some yard games for the kids to play with as well as some crayons and paper for them. This was such a kind gesture! My friend and I had some quiche and our boys had some sweet treats. Everything was delicious and I would love to come back again when riding the Sunrail up to Lake Mary. read more

Looks like we found a charming new coffee spot to slip in little Honey's rotation! Magnifique! Pistachio cheesecake was absolutely delicious and I'm still reeling from the coffee. We love to try new places especially for hot coffee. We were able to find this gem while we were out and about in Lake Mary through our Yelp app. Family owned French cafe with Italian coffee! The interior design is very warm and relaxing. The people are super nice and welcoming. We had already eaten breakfast so we only came in for a hot americano and hot latte. They chose an Italian coffee bean due to its strength and smoothness. Might seem odd to put those two words in the same category but it is true. Both our drinks were amazing and the perfect temperature. We are already talking about coming back to this gem of a place next week! They even due private events on Sunday. They even made sure I was happy with my drink. The decor here definitely matches the theme. It's a great seating area with extended seating around the side and a backyard patio area. It was too hot to enjoy it the day I went, but I bet it would be perfect on a fall/winter day in Florida! The owners were incredibly welcoming! Edwin made my drink. Cute little place!?!?! They had a unique but interesting collection of little cakes and quiches. I got a slice of pistachio cheesecake and it was deliciously delightful! I would go back just for that slice of cheesecake. I'm even going to try and recreate it myself. Anyways, the overall atmosphere of the place was so cozy and they treat their customers like family. This is an American style Cafe that offers limited menu items but they are all delicious. The wife and I are having the advocado toast with fried egg on top. And pumpkin spice latte. Both yummy delight. It was our first time here and the service was superb. Very attentive with table side service. The ambience is great light music in the background jazzy medium noise moderate lighting great foe group outing or date night or breakfast. I have been wondering what would be happening to this little spot since I was a bit disappointed in the last cafe here. Honestly this spot is a GEM ...next to the train and such a cute little place. I appreciate this shop and their theming. Super cute. Food is very good but coffee wasn't my favorite. I may need to come and try again. I got a latte and it just tasted very bland. I really appreciate the games around the shop for both adults and kids. As a mom I can't thank you enough.
