You know, $50 to rub fluoride on my teeth. $30 to spray mouth wash in my mouth. BTW...those were literally the prices that I had to remove. I have to ask for what they're doing in writing before I get in the chair to make sure they don't add all these extra expensive services that I don't need. Not only that, the actual services I agree to are over-charged and I don't find out about it until my dental claim comes through letting me know that the office owes me money. They never tell me they took extra. I have to call to ask for a refund for my money. This has happened to me 3 times already. It doesn't make sense. I ask them if they price their services like the stock market and she had the nerve to ask me what billing code I gave the insurance company... I corrected her and reminded her that submitting billing codes was their job not mine. The last time I got a cleaning, the dentist broke my tooth and left me with a significant chip on my tooth- literally a new hole. When I called and told them I had a new chip on my tooth... she told me that it must be because my teeth are cleaner so it feels like the gap is bigger.... I was like, nope, I am looking in the mirror at a missing piece of my tooth. I asked to schedule an appointment to fill the hole, and she said, I had to schedule an appointment to look at the hole and then I could schedule an appointment to fix it... I was like... so, you need to charge me for two appointments to fix the hole the dentist gave me? I'm done.

Doc Sawyer and his staff are professional and friendly…read more I first met Doc Sawyer back in 11.2020, he fixed a chipped tooth and just recently helped me with an emergency extraction, virtually anxiety free and painless too. I'm really happy with Doc Sawyers work, he's all pro and procedures go quick too, very impressed with Doc Sawyer and his staff, they have a sense of humor, and a wonderful chair side manner, positive family atmosphere for kids and adults. Doc Sawyers office is located right in the middle of town between the Subway and Kingsland Public Library on RR 1431, you can't miss it. FYI; I was surprised to learn that Doc Sawyer and his family were flood victims that were hit by the Llano River Flood in 2018 and they lost everything, their entire home was swept away, and two years later they are still trying to rebuild their house, and this China Virus hasn't helped them much either. If you're LOOKING FOR THE BEST DENTIST in the Highland Lakes area Doc Sawyers office is the best we got around these parts! Updated review as of 3/8/2022:…read more After posting my initial review, I was immediately reached out to by Amber and was scheduled for a bite adjustment as well as an appointment to reseat two of my veneers which were causing me pain and not covering my whole tooth. CDOA were quick to make sure I got what I needed and all looked and felt good. I just got my new veneers for those two teeth put on yesterday and I'm incredibly happy with how they look and how much better my bite feels. I greatly appreciate the care that was taken to ensure my experience was better.

I signed nothing and authorized nothing. However, their finance manager took it upon themselves to open a loan in my name without my consent. She is honest, and caring and kind and personable. I look forward to have my treatment plan done by her and I despise the dentist!
