EXCELLENT!!! Everyone at this practice is professional and kind…read more I flew in from Phoenix to have Dr Nunnally clean four cavitations from wisdom teeth extraction. He was THE most knowledgeable, delightful, professional I have ever experienced. He put my nerves at ease, prayed over me and yes, all turned out great! Few years later ~ my health is better and I would absolutely go back to Texas just to have Dr Nunnally work on my teeth should I ever need it. He was truly a blessing to me.

The staff is genuinely friendly and also highly professional. From start to finish, each area is well run and organized. The office features state-of-the-art technology, and Dr. Nunnally and his team provide exceptional care. My procedure lasted several hours, and throughout the entire process, I received meticulous, compassionate attention. By the end, it felt more like I had spent the day at a spa with good friends than at a dental office. That's not to downplay the importance of their work, but to commend the team for delivering top-quality care while treating each patient with respect and kindness. I wouldn't hesitate to return for another procedure--and, as strange as it may sound for a dental visit, I'd actually look forward to it!

I get a phone call from Cathy one day prior to my appointment asking if I could move my appointment time up one hour and to call them back if there was any way I could do that. I made my appointment almost 7 weeks in advance for 2pm, and could not move it so I did not call back and arrived early for my 2pm appointment to complete new patient forms. At first they said "your appointment was for 1pm" and acted like I showed up late. I said my appointment was for 2pm and showed the staff my text message confirmations that clearly showed 2pm. They informed me they would not be able to do my cleaning and could only do x-rays. I told them I only wanted to do the cleaning and they said I could not get a cleaning without x-rays and they could not do everything. I left and will not return. I think it is a TERRIBLE business practice to refuse to honor the appointment I made 7 weeks in advance. The staff was apathetic and treated me like I had done something wrong. Of course, I was upset about my experience, but I was not rude and I did not raise my voice. I am glad I learned about this practice before I was a patient. Fortunately, I was able to make an appointment with Aspen Dental 2 days from now. I strongly advise you to avoid Bright Smiles. I do not want the moderator to respond with a suggestion to call the office manager. My feedback has been delivered and I will not return. My suggestion would be to work with your staff and to figure out a way to honor the commitments made, even if it is inconvenient to the staff. There was no attempt to fix the problem. Even though I held up my end of the experience, I was treated poorly because I was dissatisfied with the indifferent communication and broken commitment.

Doc Sawyer and his staff are professional and friendly…read more I first met Doc Sawyer back in 11.2020, he fixed a chipped tooth and just recently helped me with an emergency extraction, virtually anxiety free and painless too. I'm really happy with Doc Sawyers work, he's all pro and procedures go quick too, very impressed with Doc Sawyer and his staff, they have a sense of humor, and a wonderful chair side manner, positive family atmosphere for kids and adults. Doc Sawyers office is located right in the middle of town between the Subway and Kingsland Public Library on RR 1431, you can't miss it. FYI; I was surprised to learn that Doc Sawyer and his family were flood victims that were hit by the Llano River Flood in 2018 and they lost everything, their entire home was swept away, and two years later they are still trying to rebuild their house, and this China Virus hasn't helped them much either. If you're LOOKING FOR THE BEST DENTIST in the Highland Lakes area Doc Sawyers office is the best we got around these parts! I know that Doc and his staff would appreciate your patronage, and I guarantee you'll be in the best of care. 5 Stars from me, I highly recommend to all my frenz. I recently moved this area from Austin and wanted to find a Dentist that would accept my military…read moredental insurance. I served 30 years in military and for the 20 years I have been retired, I have never had an issue until this office. It's really sad they will not accept the most common dental insurance for military. But I had heard great things from my neighbors about this dentist and I wanted to go somewhere local instead of driving back to Austin. So, for the first time in over 20 years since I retired, I changed my insurance. I bought a top tier (Aetna PPO) insurance which was considerably more than the dental insurance I paid for as a military retiree. But again, I wanted to establish with a local dentist. Long before my appointment, I completed all the paperwork and provided the office with all of my insurance information. Imagine my surprise when at the end of my meeting, the office person said I owed them $500+! Again, since the day I scheduled the appointment, which was several weeks before the appointment, I never heard a word. In fact the person who made the appointment wouldn't provide me with an appointment until she verified my insurance the coverage. I am a licensed healthcare professional and in the 20 years in the private practice I worked in, the people in our office also did this work, verifying insurance and what is covered and not covered. I was in simply for a routine check-up and cleaning. I had no issues and no work other than a cleaning was done. They did take a lot of x-rays which I do understand, but they also did panoramic radiograph. In other dentists office they have requested the panograph so I wouldn't have to go through it. I see in this office they are more about finding ways to bill your insurance as much as possible. I know the panograph wasn't necessary and the last one I had taken down in Austin was only 3 years old. I told them I would not pay the $500 and informed them of my medical license. I was then told I could pay $106 and if the insurance didn't cover, I would have to pay the balance and if I overpaid, they would return the overpayment. I checked with my insurance and it covered everything and I informed their office in March that they owed me for the overpayment. I received an email stating they had not received payment but would send the check as soon as they receive payment from the insurance. It has been three months and I know from my insurance they have in fact been paid but three months later... still no refund for the overpayment. This is essentially fraud. They do NOT support Military members. The dentist I used to see in Austin took my insurance the military provided and NEVER once asked me to pay anything extra. It's a long drive but I would prefer to go back to that practice that treated me with respect and didn't try to overcharge me. I have heard there are other reliable dentists in Marble Falls and Bee Cave but as retired military and a healthcare professional, I do not recommend this practice.

Let me begin this review by stating that my opinion is worth a lot when it comes to dentistry I…read moreretired as a dental hygienist after 40 years, and what I expect as far as quality of work, professionalism, cleanliness and honesty are the most important qualities on finding a dental practice. With that said, I did find that office after researching every Dentist in Cove and Kileen. Dr. Smith's office was exactly what I was looking for. The hygienist Amber was excellent. She is gentle, friendly, and has great clinical skills. The front office, who are responsible for setting up appointments and taking care of your billing properly went above and beyond my expectations. I was a little worried when I first made appointments for both cleanings, and for dental work due to the fact that it was months before I could be seen, however, they assured me that as cancellations do happen and they would call me when an appointment becomes available. I was booked out at least a month, but I got a call the very next day that they had an opening and I was seen promptly. I was booked out three weeks for my dental work and again I was seen just days later. When I was seen for my dental visit with Dr. Smith, I barely even realized that he had given me the injection and took his time and provided excellent work and explanation about my visit. The dental assistant was friendly and didn't let me drown! The floss didn't get stuck, the filling didn't feel high and I was not sore the next day. Thank you for a great experience! Look no further! This is a above and beyond expectations office!
