Do not be surprised at this low score. The only reason this pharmacy is still in business is because there is nothing else around. I loved the customer service at the regular checkout The older lady was in a great mood and friendly. We had a great conversation about our vaccines. I had a terrible experience getting my 4 vaccines in one day. I got my pneumonia, shingles, covid, and flu shot. I made my vaccine appointment 3 weeks early. I arrived 10 minutes early. I waited 30 minutes. The senior person giving the vaccine was racist to say the least. I was born and raised in the US. The lady begrudgingly gave me my vaccines. She inquired about origins and how long I had been visiting the US. She didn't say these things in a nice way. It was quite condescending. She was also not exactly gentle. I was very accommodating and friendly despite the racist questions. I do not have an accent. This was brutal. I forgave her ignorance due to her age. Sometimes, you just move on and don't make a fuss. It requires more energy than I have to give to this kind of ignorance. To add insult to injury, she never documented my vaccines. She may as well have given me something else. These vaccines never made it to my records. I do not have any proof that they were completed. I have reached out to corporate for these records. I had 2 weeks of severe dehydration from diarrhea and vomiting after these vaccines.. whatever they were, I had to seek emergency care. Please be white when coming here if you want great service from the pharmacy staff. Otherwise.. do it at your own risk. The pharmacy lines were about 10 people deep while I waited for my vaccines. They were busy and moving very slow. I understand slow coming from Ocean Shores. However, Ocean Shores people are very friendly in comparison to Aberdeen. read more

They take FOREVER to fill prescriptions. Example....... you call at 7:30am buy don't get your medication untill 4:00pm. What the heck. People need thier medicine. Rite Aid has a few people working, why can't they get people thier stuff in a more timely manner. Just crap! read more

Haven't used their pharmacy so can't comment on that. As a store their prices are higher than I was expecting. Stopped by for some gauze to wrap an open wound. Had to come back a few times to find what I wanted because shelves were not well stocked. Ended up finding what I needed but later found it cheaper at Walmart. Cashier was slow but got the job done. The location and parking situation are very weird and confusing. Like most places in Aberdeen either there is not enough Handicap parking or too many people using it who shouldn't be because it never seems to be open. If I hadn't been living in this city for awhile I wouldn't have been able to get to it - it's surrounded by one way streets so getting in and out is kind of a nightmare. read more

they wont ever refill on time. they will literally make you wait days for a prescription your own provider told you would be ordered and ready that day. an order you literally watched your own provider with your eyes put in and sign for, before even leaving your doctors office. they'll tell you it's your insurance being billed every time just to make sure you have to wait multiple days, even if it's a medication you've been on for actual years. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They have been my pharmacy for 6 months now and they are always too busy to talk to you, they rush your answer, cut you off by putting you on hold, every response has attitude and they don't have time to explain anything. I haven't been able to get my prescriptions to be filled together at the same time once a month so contacting them happens about 4 times a month. They take about 3-4 days to actually fill a prescription, if you need it the same day then it takes a couple of hours. Their drive through has never been open since I started using them. Please do yourself a favor and find any other pharmacy. read more

This is the worst pharmacy! They never have our meds ready, even when called ahead three days before and then walk in and they have to wait to fill. Call it in and not ready, talk to someone, not ready... not always but a good lot of the time! I have had meds not full and missing pills. Long lines, and not enough technicians! They don't apologize or make up for their lack of bad business. We started going there because of drive-thru convenience and that has not worked for more then six months! What is going on with this place! I know they took on Swansons business but have not been able to rise above the extra service....honestly they were terrible and took on more business! I have pills that were needed that day because of infection and they did not have ready. That is just negligence. Male pharmacist is always rude. Looking for another pharmacy as I sit here without antibiotics because they weren't ready again! We have been waiting for them to catch up and they just don't. Even using app is difficult talked to customer service to fix, but never worked.. So frustrated!! Only big pharmacy in town and they have two Rite Aids! Two in this small town! What! I stopped by the drive thru to pick up a prescription. Sent license in. After 5 minutes with nothing, I pressed the call button, another five minutes of nothing. This time I repeatedly pressed the call button because another person drove up and was helped nearly immediately. I was then told (with rude attitude) that I was supposed to ring the bell first(I guess the call button). I explained I sent my license in and hit call button and that there wasn't any signage explaining to use call button first, to which the response, again with attitude and rudeness:"I'll make a not of that!" On 6-23-24 I spent the night in the ER with severe stomache pains I am a tribal member my insurance paid for the emergency room visit and my prescription all I had to pay for was gas $30 each way =$60 I thought maybe indigestion at first after a day n a half I knew it was a little more serious , I left the hospital around 630 am n had 2 1/2 to wait for pharmacy to open , I went to rite aid in Aberdeen at 9 am n was told it was gonna be a minute " can u come back in a hour and a half . ? I did when I went back the girl couldn't find anything on computer n asked me to wait while she checked with pharmacist the pharmacist then told me that she had deleted it because I could buy it over the counter . That it was a ridiculous price for my insurance to hafta pay when I could just buy it for $14 , unfortunately I had spent all my $ on gas just to get to the hospital my tribe paid $1,220 for the visit had I known that I needed an acid reducer I probably would have just went to the store n bought it , but I didn't know exactly why my chest was hurting so badly , found out at hospital that I have a tumor in my stomache and pepsid ac is what the Dr prescribed not to treat the ulcer but to reduce the acid in my stomache and soothe my pain , I went home without the medicine , and it continued to hurt even worse all day I suffered the pain hurt so bad it hurt so bad I couldn't sit still finally I called a friend who lives in Westport and asked him if he could help me out He drove 2 hours spent another $60 on gas n got me 2 bottles of pepsid ac =$30 \ so $ 120 altogether on gas $30 for the medicine and $1,220 for the ER =$1,370 is what it costed for me to get what I needed to feel better how and why did this woman interfere did she have the right to cancel my prescription , I suffered in pain for almost 2 days after it costed my tribe $1,220 for me to see a Dr. I just wanna say to her , things aren't always as they appear , and it costed alot more than $14 and wasted 6-8 hours of my time the doctors time my friends timer the person who drove me to the hospital and I suffered for almost 48 hours after I should have picked up my prescription because she thought it was a ridicoulas price for MY INSURANCE to hafta pay! As if it should be any of her concern this place definitely a minus 5 * terrible customer service , and why does she think it was ok to cancel something prescribed by a doctor? How is it any of her concern ? How much my insurance is paying and does she do this often? Does she know better than a doctor? And maybe she should consider the results of her actions because if she did this to someone who needed there medication to survive it could be life or death read more

Exceptionally rude staff in the pharmacy. Filled out all my information online to get my COVID booster and was on time to my appointment. Tried to check in, but the COVID shot person lied to the pharmacist who asked her to pull up my paperwork for printing and said it wasn't there. That led the pharmacist to rudely walk past me saying I might have to fill out all the paperwork again because the system was down. Told me to have a seat, but didn't bother to say what they were doing. It seemed like those two women don't get along at all and are happy to take it out on the customers I sat down, waited 10-15 minutes when finally the COVID person called my name for the shot...she had my paperwork, so the system was just fine. she wasn't, though. She complained about the time the COVID shots take from her work day and was simply rude on all levels. Shot done, I took a seat in the waiting area for my 20 minute post-shot time as required. She left the area for a few minutes and when she came back she rudely asked if I was waiting for a prescription. I said no I was just doing my requisite waiting period after the shot. She told me to leave. There was no one else in the waiting area, so plenty of open chairs and completely out of her way, so I have no idea if she cared that I was sitting there, or why. I won't be using that pharmacy again. Based on the long list of 1-star reviews over a lengthy period of time, I'd say this Rite Aid has no intention at all of ever bothering to handle the staff discontent there. read more

Horrible pharmacy worst riteaid I've been to they let my fiance go without his insulin for two weeks all because of their mess up and gave him another type of insulin without telling him and he's blind it could have killed him shame on them!!! I actually give them zero stars!!! read more

One if not the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. HIPPO Violations, rude, incompetent, the elderly pharmacy tech was untruthful and just not intelligent. This is a review of their photo service, or rather, lack thereof. Sunday night I put in an order online for some 8x10 photos to be printed. No problem, right? I got the email confirmation of the order, saying they'd be ready the next day by 1 PM. Seeing as I live close to an hour away, I didn't get there to pick up the prints until Tuesday afternoon. I asked for my prints, and they didn't have them. They couldn't even find the order. They called the other store, and there was no record there either. As it turns out, they ran out of ink for 8x10s, and no one called or emailed to say my order was delayed. They apologized for the inconvenience... but really? Just an apology? I kinda needed the prints by the next day. Needless to say, I'll never use Rite Aid photo services again. read more
