Worst pharmacy in town, in my opinion. My mom was getting…read moreher prescriptions from here. I asked that I be able to pick up her meds, rather than wait around all day for a delivery. When I did go pick up her meds, the staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I'd come to get the meds rather than have them delivered. 2 months ago, they sent her a text that they had planned to deliver her meds that day (not sure why they ignored my request to pick them up) but had only discovered that day that she needed refills, so her delivery would be delayed for 5 days. No apology, no offer of emergency meds to cover her, I guess she was just supposed to keep her blood pressure down with the power of her mind. Last month, again they ignored my request to not have her meds delivered and sent her a text that the delivery was on its way. No one showed up. She called the next day to ask where her meds were and they said they would be delivered the following week. Again, no apology, no emergency meds. I'd had enough and went to another pharmacy to transfer her prescriptions. The new pharmacy called me and said that Akron Health Mart Pharmacy had actually refused to allow the transfer until I called to tell them why. So, I did. She's now with the new pharmacy and we are so glad to be done with these folks. Please, save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

Ah, I love a good old-school pharmacy. And this is it. It's located in a professional building,…read moreso if you have a doctor in the building (like me) this place is uber convenient. My dermatologist handed me a prescription and I popped in here to have it filled. It literally took 5 minutes. They also sell cold beverages so if your doctor is running late you can stop down and grab a few cold ones. Very knowledgeable pharmacist who has a good bedside manner. And the cashier is a nice lady. 2 thumbs way up.

I called this store today 11/04/25, matter of fact , their phone line put me on hold for 18 min and then a recording came on and said we are having issues today, please call back. This is a constant at this location and there should be a regional manager answer for this lack of service. Walgreens always has an excuse for their lack of service. I wish Rite Aid, were still around they did a great job for me for 20 years. Things have changed in the market place and it only continues to get worse. In closing I would love to see Management at this location take action to correct all their shortcomings.
