I wouldn't even leave a 1 star. I went to go get my medication from the pharmacy and they would not give me my meds period because they were simply too busy!!! Learn to do your jobs better and take care of people!!! You are the one who signed up for this job no one asked you to do it. Learn some professionalism. I put in a refill last Thursday. Went in Monday and was told it would be ready Tuesday. Went in Wednesday to be told it's not available and no idea when. I don't live close so wasted my gas for nothing. Called today, Thursday and recording says it can't verify my prescription. Tries to transfer me to someone 3 times but still no answer. Negative +Negative--- Picked up my antidepressant refill. Filled my weekly pill container and noticed the pills were different color and a bit skinnier but figured it was a different manufacturer. Well a week later and severe mental a physical breakdown, figured out ON MY OWN that the pills I had been taking were completely different antidepressants. A very high dose also. Please be careful. Ask questions and if it doesn't look right advocate for yourself. Btw, the pharmacist who I really trusted and liked,Did not admit to doing anything wrong basically made me feel like I was losing my mind. Very traumatizing. read more

UGH!!!! I love Rite Aid and I really enjoy many of the clerks that work there. But the Pharmacy Staff sure could use some training & polishing up in customer service. At least pretend to give a crap. I know it's not the fault of the staff entirely. Rite Aid Management needs to step up and take responsibility for having the right staffing for the number of customers it has. When it's 5:00p.m., many people get off work and head right to the pharmacy to pick up their prescriptions. Well, that's when you should have extra staff to handle the line of customers that builds up. This is not rocket science. Please try harder Rite Aid, just a little caring for your staff and from your staff will go a long way with the customer. Before I left work last week, I called the pharmacy to make sure my prescription was filled before coming down to pick it up. When the pharmacy clerk answered, they were so fast to put me on hold I had no idea what they said, then I was on hold until I actually walked up to the drop off window where the clerk who acknowledge me, really has nothing to say about it. She was too busy typing in a prescription to give me the time of day. What does this tell me about the staff here. I can only imagine what would cause this disconnect in customer service. She had zero personality, didn't ever try to understand what happened. So I asked for the manager, she said the manager wasn't in. I have since called the store and talked with Jacob, the manager, about this. I wonder if he even understands? read more

What kinda dick face spits their gum out on the ground in the parking lot, apparently someone who's too stupid to learn when their first grade teacher told them that gum goes in the garbage. Probably another toothless idiot in this town that can't keep gum inside their mouth due to missing teeth. Worst pharmacy. Staff is rude and disrespectful. They won't start your prescription when your doctor calls it in. They wait until you get back to town and go to pick it up then ask you to have it called again, or faxed. Many times this has happened because they 'weren't sure if you really wanted it'. It's antibiotics, yes sick people do want those. Quickly. Many times it takes two days. Corning definitely needs a new option. I'll get them filled 20 miles away before having them called in to Rite Aid again. read more

The pharmacy is a disaster. The people are rude the prescriptions are never ready on time or they give you two pills at a time. The lines are always out of control. Just because they're the only pharmacy in town doesn't mean they should scimp on customer service. They know people have no other choice so they do NOT care. There's a few good people that work there that are kind but I see how flustered they are when the lines are to the back of the store and no one is coming up to help. I feel bad for them. Worst pharmacy I have ever been too!! They have the rudest people .. I was at Prices pharmacy forever, when I had to switch over I specifically asked the person at Rite aide if they had all my information they said sure it will be a seamless transition.. Well after waiting a week over my refill dates they still didn't know what they were doing finally I called my insurance company while waiting in line and within 5 min I had it taken care of .. They couldn't do it with the week they had before.. No way should anyone go there they had at least 6 people back there and nobody knows what's going on read more

I like the store itself, but the fact that the pharmacy continues to mess up next to every prescription that get makes this the worst store that I have ever been to. I have since started going to a pharmacy in Los Molinos even though I live in Corning because of how many times they have messed up my medication, not filled a presciption correctly, been extremely rude to my face and over the phone. I sincerely hope they either shut down the pharmacy portion of this store or get competent people to run it. read more

Have had many issues refilling prescriptions. Staff is rude majority of the time, and currently have been placed on hold for about 20 minutes and counting just to refill a prescription. Have been confirmed a refill is ready and when I go to pick up it is not, on more than one occasion. I don't recommend it to anyone. If any other pharmacy options are available definitely go elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I have used this pharmacy for years. They have never had my prescriptions ready when their automated system says it will be ready, even when I call in days ahead. I have been repeatedly been told they are short of staff. That gets a little bit old after years. I'm switching to Walmart in Red Bluff which means any other shopping I do while in town will no longer go to local Corning merchants. read more

My poor daughter had several teeth pulled form the Dentist Went to this store to get pain meds. Waited over an hour. had to get a ride into town mind you.. not like it was just around the corner. They were so Rude and she ended up leaving the store without the medication. She was up all night long in pain. there is no excuse for the rudeness she has to deal with. I am going to file a complaint with manager. not that it will change anything. This is should not continue.. I will not ever go there again. read more
