Fortunately for me I was unable to get an Uber to get to a different restaurant. I saw this place across the street and was actually hungry for some type of curry. This is a food truck in the back corner of a lot next to a truck wash and lube, I believe it's the same family that owns both. I decided to order the Tandoori Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala with a side on Naan. The food was ready in about 15 minutes, the staff was very nice. There is no place to sit outside! The food....awesome! Great flavor and portion sizes were perfect! If you are in the area, stop by, especially if you got off the highway to get gas passing through. Obscure location but friendly owners and generous portions - the curries can easily serve 2. The butter chicken and goat curry were delicious, as was the garlic naan and roti paratha. Spontaneously stopped here during a road trip and I'm so glad we did! We had the butter chicken, chicken tandoori, naan, and chai. All of which were absolutely delicious -- so much so that we ended up stopping on the way back! The second time, we ordered goat curry, daal, and aloo paratha. Again, we were so pleased. I have had Indian food from dozens and dozens of restaurants throughout California, and this tasted better than anything I've had in a long time. I love bold flavors and a good amount of spice, and all these dishes were perfectly balanced. The folks running the truck are so sweet and fun too. It tastes (what I believe to be) authentic, and I'm sad that this isn't closer to home! I will definitely remember this spot and come any time I'm driving north along the I5. read more

I am Indian and my mom is an amazing cook! And so, I am very snobby about Indian food. This place is awesome! The food is excellent. The Bhindi masala tastes like mom's. We also got tandoori chicken and butter naan which were excellent. The mint chutney and plum chutney are fresh and delicious! Two thumbs and two toes up. read more

Do not believe the excellent reviews on Google Maps. Most of these reviews seem to be written by "customers" who only wrote one review for that specific place. I found this place on Google Maps and decided to try it because of its excellent reviews. Based on the owner's recommendation, I ordered goat curry with naan. The naan was stale and not tasty. The goat curry turned out to be mostly bones and cartilage that is impossible to chew with only two tiny pieces of meat. The curry was also full of tiny bones that can make you lose teeth if you are not careful. So it all went to garbage. What is most frustrating is that the owner appeared to be very friendly, and we chatted while the cook was preparing the food. It seems they chose to give me bad food because I was not local and asked it to go. read more

Don't trust the negative reviews! Stopped on the way through Corning and am so glad we did. Got butter chicken and chicken Tika masala+ garlic naan. We were really excited to find this on the I-5. The location is very convenient. Unfortunately, the food was not good. The naan was stale. The daal was okay but you could tell it was not fresh. The goat curry was not cooked very well. The flavor was just not there. The samosa chaat had no crunch. It was loaded with spice (maybe a distraction). They were nice and gave us free chai. So extra point for that. But overall, we would not recommend. The price is too high for that food. Especially keeping in mind there is no table service. read more

Good Indian food, in a truck. It's noisy being located at the back of a truck wash, behind Jack in the box. Service is polite, but it's a food truck so best to take your food home. We ordered the samosas, tika masala, fish pakora, garlic naan, and mango lassi. I would pick up food from here again. Everything was good and not greasy. Samosas were large and spicy, fish pakora was mild and light. Tika masala was not spicy, but tasty nonetheless. Naan was fairly typical. read more

We came here for the second time during our trip - the food tastes good, much better than the North Indian food in some of the Bay Area places. However, during our second visit, the Indian chai we got tasted very sweet and like tea powder because we got the last bits of the tea. The bhindi sabzi was also swimming in oil which could've easily been reduced. Bhaingan Bhadra was ok. Malai kofta was our favorite along with the aloo paratha! Satvinder was a friendly staff and service was quick. Ambience can be improved considering there are no clean tables to sit at and eat. The table they pointed me to, had metal shavings and a mouse running around on the grass on the side. Didn't feel super comfortable but apart from that, it was a good experience overall! read more
