I had to pick up a prescription for my elderly brother in law that has Covid. There were problems with his doctors office getting the prescription called in to Rite Aid. So I spent two days at the pharmacy waiting to get his medicine. I have to give props to the pharmacist and the tech, both were extremely kind, understanding and helpful. It's so rare these days to encounter such pleasant people. I will definitely tell anyone and everyone not to waste time spending an hour in line at Fred Meyer when you can get fast, top notch service at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Brookings. AAA+++ read more

you can never get to the pharmacy. the phone rings one time goes to a fast busy then cuts off. after that I called their help line who said they couldn't help me and connected me to their Brookings pharmacy. I was on hold for three minutes and got cut off. I never used Rite Aid before but tried it after my insurance coverage changed. it was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I finally had to switch to Fred Meyers in Brookings. read more

I was delighted at the service I received from Germaine and Terri at this Pharmacy. Another Pharmacy in town told me they could not fill my prescription because they were short-handed. Terri called and had my prescription transferred and filled very quickly. Germaine suggested that I used GoodRX which saved me money. I really appreciated the good service I received! read more

The store is finally getting it together. Apparently Oregon has some crazy rule that a pharmacist from California, which has great pharmacists, can't work in Oregon without Oregon Credentials. Yikes!! Bad idea Oregon. The store is better stocked now, the staff is amazingly good humored and it's a pleasure to visit. I have recently has employees go out of their way to help me find what I needed. Can't wait to cut Fred Meyer pharmacy loose! read more

I am from out of town and had no idea the posted pharmacy hours online would be so far off and had an RX sent to Brookings, OR Rite Aid only to learn when I went to pick it up that I'd have to wait 5 days to do so. Unbelievable unprofessional store. One star is too much. Rite Aid advertises itself as a pharmacy, and a place to get vaccines, flu shots, Etc. However, THIS Rite Aid has no pharmacist at all. For over two years they have struggled to staff their pharmacy. They are a local joke. Now they claim no one wants to work there. Here's an idea: pay people. They have a visiting pharmacist on Wednesdays at the moment, but don't expect any kind of service from this place. Don't bother using their online prescription or vaccine services, the store claims they never get those things (a lie, they tried canceling people's vax appointments a few times, then just claimed they never got them). The manager blames corporate for everything. Avoid at all costs. read more

If you want to be depressed, head down to the Rite Aid. I live here when it was a hole in a the ground, so the Rite Aid is definitely a step up. It's never busy, so you'll be able to navigate with ease and check out with the speed of a bank robber. Don't expect customer service outside of the pharmacy because I think they only employee one checker to cover the entire store. Not that I really wanted to talk about the Prep-H I was purchasing with a complete stranger or anything. So, if you want to avoid the mecca that is Fred Meyer or just want to have a good ol' time deciding which medications would work best on that rash you got from your date last night, come on down to Rite Aid. Store: 4.5 stars. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The pharmacy staff usually the same. But the other day the pharmacist was just plain rude. She told me I should have told my doctor to write the RX correctly, with a rude attitude. Maybe just a bad day but that was the 3rd time in one morning I had been there to pick up the Rx, twice waiting 20 min before telling me it was going to be even longer, so I was not happy but still friendly. May need to transfer my prescription. read more

I used to live in Sunnyvale, CA, right on the border of City of Cupertino. Rite Aid is in Cupertino. It is a highly populated area so there are several Rite Aids in the vicinity. I have had nothing but excellent service at all of them both with pharmacists and with store staff. They have been friendly and helpful whether by phone or in person in the store. I just moved to Brookings, OR, and fortunately there is a Rite Aid close by, so my husband and I did not have to get new prescriptions from our drs. to be able to get our meds. They were all right there in the Rite Aid prescription system. Again, the staff both in the pharmaceutical dept and in the store merchandise itself have been great. I've received calls when they were concerned about price of medication so I would not be surprised when I went to pick it up. I've gotten calls when the prescription had run out and I need to request new one from dr., etc. When I've asked about a product in the store side, friendly clerks walk me over to item and ask if there is anything else they can do to be of help. Fast service, wonderful pharmacy. Got my prescription in about 10 min. which is unheard of. Good service at the counter and short wait.

Nothing special about this Rite-Aid. We needed to fill a prescription on a Sunday and it saved us a lot of time driving around aimlessly. Bought a 4 pack of D cell batteries, generic Tylenol and two sodas.....almost $30. Walgreens has better prices and skilled pharmacist. Friendly staff. read more

Bad Bad !!! Went in to fill a prescription that I had filled here many times before. After waiting a day, I went in to pick it up. They tell me that the doctors license is not active and they can not fill the script (they had my phone number but did not call me so I wasted a trip to the store). I call the doctor, who has been in business 50 years and he calls this Rite Aid from Washington State. He tells them he will FAX whatever information that they need to verify that he does have a current license. They will not accept any information from him. I go back to the store and as they are not willing to do anything to get this important script filled, I insist they correct whatever error that is occurring in their system. Clerk says it will be 30 minutes, I say no problem I will go home and you can call me when done. I wait 2 hours and no phone call. I return to the store. The clerk sees me coming and quickly gets on the phone to her support people. She then says she will have to wait for them to call back. She is very abrupt and is not willing to help in anyway to get this very important prescription filled. I leave the store again, take the prescription to Fred Meyer and it is filled immediately, without any problem. I then return home and call Rite Aid Corporate support and explain the situation to them. They say that they will contact the area manager and have him call me. She says it usually takes 48 hours but will try to expedite due to the seriousness of this issue. It has now been 96 hours (as of 9/19/15) and I have not had any contact with anyone from Rite Aid. Soooooo, I would suggest that you do not take any scripts to Rite Aid instead use Bi-Mart or Fred Meyer. I will be going to these stores for all my medical related needs, and will no longer be using Rite Aid for any purchases. There is a problem with their system and they have no interest in correcting it or helping their customers. read more

I had to wait 4 hours for a prescription, then it was wrong! So I asked to have my prescriptions transferred to Bi-Mart, 4 days later, still nothing! Worst customer service ever. Others in line at the pharmacy said the same VERY mad customers! read more
