I wanted to get a few personal necessities and didn't want to park a long distance away and then have to navigate a cavernous store like CVS. So I looked and found this nice local Rite Aid and was able to park right by the entrance and lave my little dog in the car for a few minutes (I shop in the morning when I bring my dog so I can get my errands done before things really heat up). I was able to get all the items I needed in this small and not crowded store. Though they were clearly running at bare bones staffing I was still able to get my items and to checkout in less than 15 minutes. My dog was neither uncomfortable nor anxious since my trip was so brief. Nice place, clean, intuitively organized, with polite and knowledgeable staff. I had only come for some antacids, a few batteries for a radio, and an impulsive candy bar but that would have taken much longer at the CVS and, maybe I'm imagining this, but the Rite Aid staff seemed somehow happier than the CVS folks who, in my experience seem pretty unhappy with their jobs. IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR DISABLED CUSTOMERS, I would HATE to see how they treat their able bodied customers!?!?!!!!!! I am updating my review to a negative 10 stars. It has come time to find a new pharmacy after 20 plus faithful years as a customer. There are ways too many flys circling this dead piece of SH*T store. They are consistently over a week late filling my prescriptions that I have already been out of for a week or longer, it's very dangerous for my health. Not only that I call my scrips in a week or more early to make sure they can fill them. The pharmacy has not only cut its hours that it is open but it is now closed on the weekends. I got a lame response for my last review from someone who obviously doesn't give a sh*t about the store or all the peoples problems. You guys are a joke and should just shutter your doors so people that need a pharmacy are met with one when they show up. I am disabled and they make it impossible to ever get my meds in a timely fashion. Even as close as last year the pharmacists would fill all my medications at once so I could make one trip a month and knew everyone by name. I doubt the new employees have ever worked in a pharmacy before, if ever even had a job before. read more

I primarily use the pharmacy here, with occasional store items as needed. I've always found the employees to be very helpful tho not intrusive, I'm always greeted as I come in with a cheerful hello & welcome, and for convenience it's the same large parking lot as Wednesday and Saturday SR Community Farmers Market (the best!) . After using this pharmacy over several years, granted with changes in staff, I do still recommend this RiteAid branch. Any small issues I've ever encountered, such as a refill forgotten, were quickly and efficiently remedied with a quick call. Overall, both pharmacy and store encompass a very smooth and professional staff. Decent prices overall considering the convenient location, ease of parking and shopping available while waiting for Rx. Do look for the deals in the ads & /or end of season - worth checking out. Roadside marketing would be GREAT! That's my message to management. You could drive passed this strip mall and never know what's in here. Dilapidated store on the inside, looks like a clearance rush took all the life out of the place. Or they moved into a spot which went through a lot of duress and had never been cleaned. (properly) Floor employees look less than thrilled to be here. The floor tiles show dating and are scuffed up. Also products are everywhere, they could use a more precise layout and signage to direct me. This is where CVS makes itself more appealing. At least to me but I was here for booze and Rite Aid had a great sale on Rum. 1.75L bottle of Captain was at a great price compared to competitors. Took a bit of time to circle the store and find it but I did. Now where are the mixers..... remembered I have kombucha at home and that makes a perfect mixer every time. read more

This review is for the pharmacy! I took a Covid test over a week ago and still hadn't received my results through email so I decided to give them a call at 9:50'ish in the morning. The pharmacist on the line was very helpful and told me if I go back to the portal where I had made my appointment I would find my results, they also informed me that there would be contact information for the lab if my results weren't back. Me being a first time tester this was very helpful and a great response instead of someone giving me attitude like I should know what to do! I came to Rite Aid at 1:30 to pick up a prescription my doctor sent in and the pharmacy is closed. I looked online and at the sign on the door and both say pharmacy is open 10 to 6. I asked the checker what's up and she said it's closed for lunch from 1 to 2 with an expression and tone that said I was an idiot. Really? Maybe you should tell people that so they don't waste their time and then have to wait around for half an hour. In these times of Covid, businesses need to be even more clear about their hours. Tried to get a flu shot here without success. Made the mistake of going during their "lunch hours" so nobody available. The clerk at the window said that I needed to make an appointment online. I explained that I tried to find the appointment option on their website and couldn't locate it. Asked if she could make the appointment for me since their website was difficult to navigate. She said no. I went to CVS on 4th and they took me as a walk-in. read more

Perfectly reasonable Rite Aid just off the 101 in Santa Rosa. Staff was friendly and I was able to find the personal products I needed. Store was clean and well lit and the shelves were organized and well stocked. I prefer stopping here when I'm in town and need something from a drug store. read more

Okay just your run of the mill drug store now a days. Check this out they still sell ice cream by the scoop ala Thriftys drug store. Same flavors and cones. Not as cheap as it used to be, but the taste sure brings back memories!! So if you ever had Thriftys ice cream go get a scoop or a pint!!! read more

I switched to this pharmacy from Tuttle's Doyle Park (see review), and I'm very glad I did. You get all kinds of choices: You can have meds delivered for a small fee; and you can get reminder calls for the meds you really must take exactly on schedule, without having to get the calls for the ones you take as needed. All the staff are friendly and competent, and Barbara (the "lady of color" mentioned in another review) especially is great. One thing to be aware of--the store's (not specifically the pharmacy's) phone system is quirky; I had some friction with Barbara initially, because on the phone I'd ask a question and not hear any reply. The rest of the store may be run-of-the-mill, but the pharmacy is excellent. read more

I can't imagine when I'll find myself at this particular Rite Aid again because I don't live anywhere near here. I had a lot of time to kill so I looked at e v e r y t h i n g. I found some gems in the children's aisles (cash money drawer, Justice League activity book, Jumbo word find, and Monster High scratchy puzzle, all very reasonably priced!), and some other fun things for the kitchen. The store is dated. I felt like I walked into an early 90s time warp. I will say that the best part of my experience at this Rite Aid was the cashier. She kicked BUTT with her awesome customer service! I purchased tequila and wine, and my tequila had an expired $2 off coupon attached. She honored it anyway. AND she gave me an additional discount with some other coupon scanner thing she had! She was funny, pleasant, and kind of reminded me of Sweet Brown. I wanted to hug her when I left. I should return and get her name and let management know she ROCKS! In fact, I think I will one of these days, and sooner than later! read more

Excellent pharmacy and staff. They seem to have gotten better management since my last review. Their staff seems to be sticking around longer... They only have one long term employee Angie who is wonderful!! I can't believe they let bull dogs and pit bulls go into the store "unleashed" which is really scary to me because I hate dogs and those dogs are known to bite. The pharmacy's delivery service used to be great. a patient of mine noticed the customer service quality diminishing. Then when needed for an urgent delivery, here it is three days later and they still have not delivered the prescriptions that were set for delivery on Thursday. Now supposedly it is Monday when they are supposed to be delivered. read more

I honestly cannot wrap my head around this store. A few things that I'll never understand: Why are the haircare products in three entirely separate different aisles?! Why is the deodorant located in the foot care aisle?! Why are the feminine care items not in the pharmacy but instead located next to the fishing tools?! Why are the same, identical facial care products located directly across from one another in the isles when they could all just be grouped together?? WHY?? To top off all of the confusion this Rite Aid is extremely overpriced. $10 for a Dove deodorant is baffling. Save your sanity and money and by driving across town, and shop at Target. I will never use their pharmacy again. Their policies are absurd and the staff is rude. First my doctor from another state sent them a prescription electronically. I went to pick it up and was told they couldn't fill it - it had to be hand written. They DID NOT tell me that ahead of time or call to say there was an issue. I went today and could not pick up my prescription because "the pharmacist was at lunch". The prescription was ready but they told me to come back later. I told them that I couldn't and would be out of my medication. Never again! I will be using CVS from now on. read more

Excellent friendly staff. I've been to many Rite Aid Stores before..when you walk in the very friendly lady of color is DELIGHTFUL!!! She is so helpful to everyone. I have been in management and never saw any employee show this kind of effort. She smiles and greets everyone when they come in. When you are checking out she's so helpful to every person no matter of age. I told her it is a joy to shop here because of her. I have medications to pick up monthly in the pharmacy. Believe me the staff is kind, patient and work with your needs. I don't write reviews for pharmacies however these people are great. Because of the staff I do not shop at BIG BOX STORES. The store look liked crap..The cashier's were garbage and after I purchased some snacks I went to look for extension cord..Then I remembered I had a cadburry chocolate bar I. I ordered some photos to be printed at this Rite Aid. I got an email in the morning saying they were ready to be picked up. When I got to the store that evening, there was nobody working within 50ft of the photo center so I has to wait in the checkout line before I could get some help. Then half my photos weren't printed, and the ones that were printed were just scattered on their desk in a pretty random order, not in an envelope or anything. I'll order from the other store in town from now on. read more

The store is remodeled so that it is clean and modern. Staff was helpful and they had exactly what I wanted.

WOW I love this place. I was going to Walgreens for years and Target too and they both were terrrible. I happened in here and I go nowhere else now, everyone that works in the pharmacy is lovely and helpful, kind and really go out of their way to fill a script. The prices are better than CVS (hate them) and Walmart. I love their slipper selection at Christmas and holidays they have what you need. Yes, the store could look newer but I do not go because the store is great I go because THE STAFF IS GREAT. If you are looking for a FANCY, HIGH END EXPERIENCE with no weird people anywhere you are probably looking for the wrong thing at the wrong place but if you need a script filled or a good bottle of wine for a great price this is your place.
