Beautiful, Big with plenty of parking. Merchandise is very easy to find. An ATM is provided on the inside. Our cashier Stacy has the most inviting attitude. She was the highlight of the visit. I love her style. Professional but very outgoing. While looking around for my hubby's item I noticed a beautiful setup that this location have. With some items, instead of them being locked up and the customer waiting for an attendant to come unlock the cabinets for you to grab the product, they supply cards that can be scanned and the product would be provided after it's paid for. I appreciate this because while the store is protecting their products, it leaves the customer with their dignity as well. It also can serve as an inventory count. I've always had a good experience with this pharmacy--most of the staff are friendly and helpful. However, Navdeed consistently provides poor customer service. Today was no exception. When I came in to pick up my medications, she interrupted me mid-sentence, demanding the date of birth rather than the name. When I mentioned receiving a text notification about a prescription being ready, she rudely insisted there was "no way" and claimed it was for something else. She told me one medication wouldn't be ready until 3:30 PM (it was 1:00 PM at the time), so I took the ones that were ready and left. Not even 20 minutes later, I received a call saying the other medication was ready. Now I have to make an unnecessary second trip, which could've been avoided if she had simply double-checked while I was there. This isn't the first time I've encountered rude and dismissive behavior from her. It's frustrating because the rest of the staff are kind and efficient, but dealing with her always makes the experience unnecessarily stressful. I've also had issues with my medication. I get phenobarbital every 30 days. 90 tablets total. The last time I picked it up there were only 30 tablets in the bottles. Luckily I noticed right away and had to make an unnecessary trip back again to get the correct amount of tablets. read more

This review is just for the pharmacy part since I was only there to get my booster shot. I had an appointment for 320pm and got there a little early. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Only took a few minutes to get me processed and was taken to the room for my shot. It was pretty quick and easy. The waiting area is small with only 3 chairs. But there was only 1 other person waiting besides me so it was ok. The store from what I can tell was pretty spacious and they have plenty of parking. They are located on the corner of 2 main streets. So it's pretty easy to get in and out of. Overall i would say it was a good experience going there for my shot and from what I can tell the people picking up their meds were taken care of fast as well. Thanks for taking care of me guys. We love making our appointments online for our Covid testing. This is such a cool way. U drive up they tell u what to do. And voila answer comes in email in about 3 days! We test monthly now since we have been out of work since April. Looking forward to getting back to work and don't want to be sick Ya know. Just makes us feel better too! read more

The pharmacy is a JOKE here. Had my prescription transferred from the Puyallup Rite Aid and this was my first time ever here. As a previous reviewer stated, lane 1 if it has enough cars blocks traffic and the parking lot. There was no one in lane 2, so I hopped into that lane. The older lady with the pink hair working the window didn't even blink at me when I pulled up. Not to mention, she proceeded to completely IGNORE me while I waited for her to acknowledge me. I simply thought she was trying to help a couple people that were in line before me, but that wasn't the case. Eventually, after hitting the call button a couple times and having a 'WTF' face, she then asked if I was dropping off. I said no, picking up. And she said "this window is for drop off only" and then went to helping the next person without even waiting for me to reply! How the heck are people who have NEVER been there before supposed to know the lanes are for 2 different things if there's NO SIGNS or anything?! Also, no other Rite Aid does this! Both lanes are for pick up and drop off! I have literally never heard of this. I had been waiting for 10 minutes, in that time she could have explained it to me and said "Hey, you've never been here before but this window is for drop off only, this time I will help you but just know for next time it's gunna be lane 1" IT COULD HAVE BEEN THAT EASY. And if ya'll have no signage, you better be doing everything at both lanes?!? What in the world. I went inside to let them know the interaction was extremely rude, that signs are needed and next time to have a little better customer service. The lady at the counter was aggressive and stated it's corporate's fault they have no signs and to take it up with the manager if I had a problem. This is an awful pharmacy. Writing this review on my phone while still waiting in the drive thru after 30 min (behind just 3 cars). This is the second time I've been here in 2 days because they forgot to give me one of my prescriptions yesterday bc "it was in a different bag." Their customer service is awful. They're very unfriendly and unhelpful when answering the phone. The pharmacist yesterday also gave me incorrect instructions on what of my prescriptions that contradicted the ones my doctor wrote that were listed on the bottle. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

Probably sounds like another generic review, but this Rite Aid location is really what the 2 stars are for- MEEHHH. It's at the corner of a fairly busy intersection with a lot going on. Parking is plenty and isn't an issue. Landscaping could use some TLC. The inside of the store is pretty roomy and well kept. Shelves are pretty stocked up and normally will have what you need. The folks at the pharmacy are normally friendly and helpful. Maybe depends who you get or what day of the week it is. You can get a grumpy individual who's probably not having a good day. With the pandemic still in effect, I've been doing some shopping online and looking at prices. Normally when the store's online site says online price only, that is strictly what it means. They had a deal on laundry detergent, so when I got to the store, I grabbed a cart and got a total of 6. (Buy 1 get 2 free). The online price said $4.39 for 1. In store was I believe $7.49 for 1. OUCH. I asked the manager on duty if they could honor it as it doesn't say online only. There was apparently nothing they could do. I was super sad about the deal not being offered. I did not complain or throw a fit. I politely asked them to honor it after showing them the info on my phone and all. I walked out empty handed and really got that feeling of not wanting to return to this place. If I threw a tantrum, do you think they would have given it to me? Be nice to the nice folks who follow the rules and read your fine print. Won't be doing business with Rite Aid for a while y'all... read more

The drive thru pharmacy is always busy. But today I had to come through THREE times. The first time they said it was not ready yet, come back in 30 mins. I was super nice and I came back 2.5 hours later. The second time she said sorry we are really busy I'll put it in front of the pharmacists face come back in 30. I was still nice and understanding and I came back 2.5 hours later again. I got here and it still wasn't ready!! She said uhm we are still waiting then just walked away in the middle of her sentence like what... I sat in like for 15 mins while they finished it up I'm assuming. This took place from 12noon to 5:30 pm. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and the lying. On top of it I have an infant with me who I'm hauling who the medication is for and she doesn't feel good and using my gas (which isn't cheap right now) to go back and forth so many times. Thank goodness my baby fell asleep in the car otherwise I'd have her screaming and crying while wondering where the heck the girl went. 0/5. Do better. Customer service isn't hard, at least be honest say it isn't ready and say I'll be right back to get this finished up. Is there any training anymore? Because it's after hours, I can't email,chat or call anyone. I am very livid about the experience I just had at 7041 pacific Ave, Tacoma wa 98404. There are 2 drive thru lanes. Labeled lane 1 and lane 2. I get into lane 2 because lane 1 is blocking entry to parking lot or lane 1. When it's my turn in lane 2, I am asked if I am dropping off or picking up. I say picking up. They rudely tell me I have to go around to the other lane because lane 1 is for drop off only. Again lanes are NOT labeled as drop off and pick up. Meanwhile, I have to go around the building to get into lane 1 that is blocking parking spots and entry/exit of parking lot onto 72nd st which is a main road. If this is the "most efficient " way for them... yall NEED to label the lanes as such and close off half of the parking lot. And conveniently, I can't reach anyone via phone, chat or email. It actually clears my email before it will let me send it. Real shady. read more

This in reference to the pharmacy dept. I got my prescription filled here couple weeks ago, I dropped my prescription off through the drive-through because I didn't know urgently need it at the time I told him it's OK to have it ready by the next day at 5 PM. Next day can I pick that up after work at 5 PM. Took my meds home not looking through any of it before I left, when I got home came to find out I was missing one medication I quickly called the pharmacy, they stated that they had to order it they did not have it in stock. The strange thing is that why didn't they mention it when I picked it up? Next thing you know I got a call stating that they didn't have anything in stock or the provider they go through did not have those meds they will contact my doctor to get something in substitute. So the next day after work I stopped by to see if they were able to substitute anything. One of the pharmacist there said that there was nothing wrong they had it there all along. She stated that she don't know what happened but my medication is there. I needed these medications before my surgery. After my surgery I needed one more prescription filled so my husband dropped it off for me and I urgently needed it. She said it'll be ready in 20 or 30 minutes. We pick up the medication and hour later and because I was taking a trip to California and was somewhat in a hurry, again I did not bother to look or check grab and go on my way to California I realize in the bottle it clearly says quantity of 20..... I look at my bottle it looked nothing like 20! I counted 10! I called and spoke with manager of the pharmacy. Apparently they keep close count of meds, and sure enough the other 10 was there when I called. So whoever staff is messing with others medication, let me tell you one thing! YOUR CAREER IS WORTH MORE THAN THOSE MEDS!!! And patients, CHECK YOUR COUNT OF MEDS!!! I no longer trust them. RITE AID PHARMACY WE GOT OUR EYE ON YOU!!!!! read more

This was my first time ever in a Rite-Aid store. In fact, I had never even heard of Rite-Aid. I was looking for a CVS, but come to find out CVS has no stores in Washington. Then I try Walgreens and find out their pharmacy doesn't take my insurance so they recommend I go to Rite-Aide. Their store was clean and I was greeted both times we walked into the store. They must have some sort of agreement with GNC because there were aisles that sold only GNC products. So I go to the pharmacy counter. I had an actual paper prescription I needed to fill as well as a transfer from a CVS located in IL. The lady tells me that the paper prescription I have is a copy and they can't accept it. I tell her that it is the actual prescription. (Background: The doctor office doesn't use prescription pads. Prescriptions are printed out on an 8.5 x 11 watermark paper and then signed. Never had a problem giving these to a pharmacy before.) So the lady shows another lady the prescription and that person also agrees it is not a valid prescription. Then a man comes over to the 2 of them and also makes the same decision. Then the 3 of them bring it to the pharmacist who says it is a valid prescription. Geesh! So back to the transfer prescription I need to fill so there is 1 pill left in the container so the lady writes down the prescription so I don't need to leave the container with her. She says it will be about 15 minutes so we elect to come back. We come back about 30 minutes later. I go to pick up the prescriptions and only 1 prescription is ready. They tell me they still haven't called the CVS in IL to get the transferred prescription filled. So I sit down to wait. I decide to make some phone calls while waiting. While I am on the phone, they tell me my prescriptions are ready so I indicate with my hand I will be up there. Then another person tells me the prescriptions are ready. After I get off the phone, I go to get my prescriptions and one of them is in a plastic bin with a laminated sign on there that was 'coagulation'. The person ringing up my order gives the stuff inside the bin to another person and says that is still needs to be coagulated. I ask him what that means and he said the powder needs to be mixed into the liquid. WTH?!? I tell him that the prescription should be in pill form so then he needs to go ask someone else. Come to find out they transferred the wrong prescription from CVS in IL and this prescription was some kind of antibiotic that my daughter needed months ago. So instead of getting my correct prescription ready, they are all concerned that some person started coagulating a medicine I never needed. Did you start coagulating it? What are we gonna do that you started coagulating it? After waiting a few more minutes, the prescriptions I need are ready. Not a good experience at this place. Plus, this being my 1st time EVER in a Rite-Aide makes me not want to ever return. read more

I ordered a photo ornament from them online. I got in on the 21st the day before I was going out of town for Christmas. The grooms head on the ornament was half way cut off. When I contacted the store for help the solutions I was given were just making me feel worse about the whole thing. The first suggestion I got was tell the person the gift was for that gift was in the mail. Rang too much like 'checks in the mail' to me. The next solution I got was give her the gift and take it away from her. I was eventually told to figure out my own solution and it wasn't Robert's (the managers) problem. I contacted their customer service through their website online that same evening and still haven't heard anything back from them. I used to shop there frequently and had my prescriptions filled. This is a review for the pharmacy only: the worst operating business I have ever dealt with. I have been getting my prescriptions there for two years now. Every. Single. Time. that I have gotten a prescription there, there has been a problem. Literally every single time. Making mistakes with people's medication is not OK. And the poor customer service on top of that....there's no excuse. Too many things to list. One if the times I called to ask a question, the employee didn't know the answer. And she said "I have to go, I have a line of people waiting." Even if a customer is just on the phone, you are still a customer. I have never heard a customer service representative say "I have to go." I called to complain to the manager one time because of their poor customer service, and he literally would not listen to my complaint. He cut me off multiple times, and would not help me. (No wonder why the pharmacy runs like shit). That's when I decided to no longer go to the pharmacy. I don't even know why I stayed with this pharmacy for so long. read more

This Rite Aid has a very friendly staff. There's been a change in staff over the recent months so it has improved alot. They are coupon friendly and thats always a plus for me. If things are not in stock, they always offer a rain check!! Pharmacy on the other hand is not. I went in drive thru to pick up a medication and had a question regarding a discount. She told me I had to go around, drive back in line again and will have she would have an answer for me. Poor customer service in pharmacy. This is the only Rite Aid store I have ever used/been to so I'd like to say that this review should not reflect upon the company as a whole or the other locations because I honestly have no idea what they are like at all. But for this store specifically I have to say that if you value your health and your life you should never, ever under any circumstances go to the pharmacy here. This pharmacy's carelessness caused me to have an over dose of a medication I am taking that could have killed me or put me in the hospital had I not been taking the medication for several years now and built up a tolerance to it (even then I am still experiencing kidney pain, shakes, dizziness, and emotional spikes due to the fact that the drug this happened with was an anti-depressant.) Basically what happened was that they decided to change the dosage of the pills in my prescription from 150mg pills to 300mg pills because I take the pills two at a time. This obviously makes complete sense and would have been awesome and welcomed if it hadn't been for the fact that they didn't bother to INFORM ME that they had done this - which is how I ended up taking 600mg instead of the 300mg that I was supposed to take. This is not the only incident that I have had with this crappy, unprofessional place - its just the only one that has endangered my life. Other incidents include getting the fill dates wrong my my scripts, losing script requests completely, saying they'll be done at a certain time and then not having them done at said time, not having the medications that I need in stock, and dropping the ball completely on communicating with my doctor's office in order to get my scripts filled correctly. They also fail miserably at informing you if they don't have the meds you order (for instance once I called in early in the morning to get my scripts filled, I ended up forgetting I needed to go get them that night after work and figured I could just go pick them up the next day, when I arrived at 4pm the following day I was told "Oh, if you come back in 30 minutes we'll have them ready for you." and when I asked why they didn't have a script that I called in YESTERDAY MORNING to be filled ready by now I was told "Oh, the medication you needed was on order." I didn't even bother asking why they didn't call me to inform me of this so that I wasn't wasting my time driving to their location only to be told that they didn't have he medication I needed once I got there.) DO NOT GO HERE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Trust me, you'll be better off. read more
