This place is popular and for good reason. Really delicious coffee with a great atmosphere. This location is in the lobby of an office building in downtown Tacoma. It's got a ton of tables, couches, and even some private study areas. WiFi is fast, so it's a great place to sit and get some work done for awhile. Employees were all very friendly and overall vibes were great. I'll be back!

This is a really pretty place. I came here for a change of scenery to get some work done and this might be my new go to spot. I ordered the Malbec and it was a good wine. I'm usually hesitant about Malbec because it can kind of on the dry side but this hit right in the middle . You can also order coffee here. They have plugs for your laptops and phones but some of the tables don't have them, I guess due to where they're located. But it's a cool place. Quiet enough to take calls and get work done. They also have a meeting room you can reserve.

Did I visit here because my sister's name is Eboni and her dog's name is Ivory? Yes! Absolutely lol My recent visit to Seattle I saw a coffee shop named Ebony & Ivory near by the place I was staying. I was soo thrilled to visit, mostly because it's my sister and her dog's name. However, I also love a good iced coffee or latté. Now it was a hike to get here and I mean literally a hike. I never realized how the hills in Seattle, more specifically Tacoma, are more of a mountain than a hill. Haha. Needless to say after a few breaks, a few sweats, and thankfully no tears I finally made it. Upon entry I was thrown off a little by the building. I believe it's located inside of a business but I am honestly not sure. It gives more of a hotel lobby type of feel with a coffee shop. The coffee however was amazing. I loved my iced latte and of course had to order the Ebony & Ivory Latte. I also tried a cinnamon roll and it was very sweet and filling. I enjoyed talking to the staff. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and coffee as well. When I visit Tacoma again I'll definitely stop here but next time I'll skip the hike and book an uber.

This place is sooooo cute! There is tons of seating options and it is beautiful inside. I tried the coffee flight and really enjoyed it. I also got a almond crossaint that was perfectly flakey and the right amount of sweet and savory. Service was friendly and prompt. This place was pretty busy on a Saturday morning but still lots of open seating available.

Fun coffee shop! Very spacious and cool interior. It's located inside of the business center but easy to find street parking. We got the regular flight and it was a good idea - but make sure you know that they are not very sweet coffee more just cold brew and regular latte's - so if you want a sweeter version you should order the special that they offer. Vast menu which was fun!! The vanilla latte was good and so was the almond croissant. The bagel was very mid/normal. Overall, good experience and space to be in.

I come here to work remotely every so often. It's a great work environment with lots of seating and the ambiance is so cute. Everyone is friendly and the coffee is delicious.

Came to Tacoma for the first time and stopped by this super cute and spacious coffee shop! I came for the coffee flight but got a lavender latte with lavender petals instead it was sooo good and i definitely need to make a trip back to try to coffe flight. They have a lot of places to sit and hang out with friends.

Tucked gracefully into the Financial Center is a modern equal parts cafe, lounge, and sanctuary. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that blends contemporary design with lush elegance. The space is nothing short of stunning, curated with a keen eye for detail and ambiance. By day, it's a haven for coffee lovers. But as the sun goes down it transforms into an intimate venue, serving a refined selection of wines, cocktails, and beers. They offer light bites like artisanal sandwiches. What truly elevated the experience, is the live pianist. This venue is a great location for private events. Whether you're seeking a quiet moment, a casual meeting, or a chic night out, this venue delivers.

This place is good. I had the coffee flight today and my daughter had the strawberry matcha. Beautiful ambience. The parking can be tricky but today was Sunday so free parking and not many people vs going on a work day. They have a vault which is fun and I know you can rent this place out too which is cool. They don't have a lot of food options and the cashier person gave me the schpeel about bussing your own serveware. I get it. There's only two of them for such a large space. Overall, good spot to go if you want to try something more unique and different and cool for meetings. Different lounge areas to be at. The WiFi can be tricky but it's manageable.

Food It was a Yelp Elite function. Charcuterie - pretty nice they had variety of yummy stuff. If you like wine like I do... go for the Dissident Carbernet Sauvignon. Service The staff are professional. .Met the owners great young entrepreneur, we talked for about 5 minutes . In case the owners read this and you wish to expand outside WA and need a Region Managet I could be your guy. I work at JBLM and I was with my daughter. I'll email you later with my resume. I can see the owner becoming wealthy, they have a great concept and I hope they will expand to Cali all the way to NY. The company name is very catchy and professional, love to work for them once they start to expand outside WA. Ambience Great place, with a 20 foot bar, too bad I forgot to take a picture. Space is very adequate, great for group parties. Also, we had a little hard time that there weren't any signs with the company name. It is very easy to miss it. I hope that they will be able to get a sign so it can be visible to the public.

Location: If I could give 1/2 a star less, I would. Not because of the establishment, food, drinks or service but because there were no signs saying where this place actually was! Come to find out, the landlord doesn't allow signage! How restrictive is that for a street-level tenant to not be able to have signs in the windows or above the door! I was astounded to learn this. Ambiance: I loved the piano music played on the piano by one of the owners of Ebony & Ivory. They played beautifully. Loved that! I found out that customers stop in and play also! The space has meeting and conference rooms and "The Vault" presents some interesting settings for a very private meeting. Food: The charcuterie was spectacular. It's one of the things they do and it was huge! Tasted good. I love finger foods and they had the typical cheese, meats, fruit. Everything I would want in one of these. It was fabulous. The owners and staff were amazing, curious and receptive to feedback. I really liked that. I enjoyed the quality of the food, drinks and ambiance here as well as the opportunities they present. Definitely check them out! The next time I am in downtown Tacoma, I will be definitely stopping in for a coffee next time!

Nice Coffee shop in a pretty space. Barista was nice as well. Did not love that there are not prices listed anywhere. I got the witched cauldron matcha and honestly hated it. But maybe they have great other drinks, I should have just gotten a normal matcha. Yea I would come back

It was an amazing experience! We tried their coffee flight called Stairway to Heaven, and our favorites were the latte and macchiato -- surprisingly, because I usually avoid macchiatos since most coffee shops make them too sweet. The ambiance is great and very comfortable. I'd definitely come back just to read and enjoy my coffee. The staff are friendly, and the place is clean and well-organized. Highly recommend!

    # Tasting Room Heartbreak: When Man's Best Friend Gets Banned…read more Just found out today was Pickle's last day at one of my favorite wine tasting rooms, and I'm absolutely devastated. As someone who visits weekly, this place has become my weekend sanctuary precisely because it was so dog-friendly. The charm of seeing Pickle's sweet face in the window was something I looked forward to every visit. I can't count how many times I've watched people walking by stop dead in their tracks, point at that adorable face peering out, and decide right then to come inside. Nathan's charismatic hosting is what initially kept me coming back weekend after weekend, but the dog-friendly atmosphere truly sealed the deal. In a world where finding quality places that genuinely welcome our four-legged family members is rare, this spot stood out. To the management: please reconsider this decision. Pickles wasn't just a cute mascot - he was part of what made your tasting room special. As a devoted wine club member, I'm seriously questioning whether I'll continue my visits without the joy of seeing that precious pup. Who else is heartbroken about this? Have you ever chosen a place specifically because it welcomed dogs? #SavePickle #DogFriendlyWineries #WeekendWineRuined

The food itself was decent, but definitely overpriced for what you get. We ordered a cheese plate and a salad. It took well over 45 minutes just to receive the cheese plate, and then another 35+ minutes for the salad to come out. That felt excessive, especially considering the restaurant wasn't busy when we first arrived. There was a bridal shower happening, which is totally understandable and of course events can impact service. However, at the time we were seated, it wasn't crowded at all. The service was also disappointing. Our waitress rarely checked in, and we eventually had to go up to the bar ourselves to ask for napkins and water refill. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but for the prices and the wait times, I expected much better service and efficiency. I understand maybe we caught them on a off day, but for being my first experience I'd consider giving it another try, but improvements in attentiveness and timing would make a big difference.
