I was checking hours and thought I'd write a review. I've been using Rite Aid in Windsor for many, many years. The regular pharmacist is just an absolute peach. She is so kind and very smart. That being said, the other pharmacy staff can be touch and go. It seems to be a lot better than previously. I'm mad at myself for forgetting her name- it's either Judy or Jody- and I've always thought we were so lucky to have her as our local pharmacist. The other pharmacist isn't necessary "not nice", he's very good at his job but his bedside manner isn't as warm and fuzzy. Not to say he's rude because that's not it at all. A-Ok to have a real drugstore/ pharmacy in downtown Windsor. It beats having to drive to Claremont or Lebanon, NH for a simple health or beauty aid or to get a prescription filled. The thing is that the pharmacy IS SO SLOW and take forever in getting a prescription filled. A little history here is that the building used to a small supermarket. Price Chopper, P&C, IGA, and then a Sun Foods. read more

My rating is worse than not good... try terrible. The woman at the pharmacy was incredibly rude. I was treated like a criminal and was so flustered by it I didn't ask the numerous questions I had about the medication I was purchasing. Her response when I called her on it was "I apologize. I'm human." I don't think she even knows what she should've apologized for. I felt like she just said it to get rid of me, not to truly deescalate the situation. Super elitist. People go to the pharmacy counterfor help, not to be judged and dismissed as suspect. read more

I will never go back to this pharmacy. More often than not, the techs who work there are rude. Today, a tech I think named Vicki asked me if I had a doctor. Apparently she was updating the pharmacy's info. I was busy paying with my credit card when she asked. I looked up at her and said, "Yes." She then gave me a facial expression that was supposed to convey "Well? What is your doctor's name?" in a way that meant to make me feel stupid for not answering her question correctly. Message for Vicki or what ever your name is: Hate your job, but don't hate your customers. I'm done with this pharmacy and will gladly drive to Claremont for future prescriptions. read more

Generally use for pharmacy. Always curteous and helpful. If there is a problem it is usually with the doc not the pharm. Other in store items a bit pricey. read more

It's pretty much a normal Rite Aid. However the pharmacy is not very efficient. The other day, I called in a prescription and it wasn't ready when I went to pick it up the next day. They had over fourteen business hours to complete the order and they weren't able to. I also waited in line for ten to fifteen minutes to find that out. I've never had an experience like this at a pharmacy before. I don't have much familiarity with this pharmacy, so I will find out if this was an isolated incident or not the next time I have to go there. read more

While I've had prescriptions filled here before and it's been neither bad not amazing, my experience today was horrendous. My wife had surgery and came home with two prescriptions needing to be filled. It had been kind of a hectic day and, in the process I forgot my purse. Since I was already at the pharmacy, I figured I would drop off the scripts and return home to get my wallet. The tech came over after ignoring me for several minutes, and instead of greeting me, just stared at me. What I did not realize was that one of the scripts was a controlled substance. I explained the situation to the tech and she began speaking to the pharmacist as though I were not there. He made a big production of checking the account to see if I was a drug abuser (we've no history with this drug). Then came over, tossed one of the slips back at me saying it was over the counter and gruffly stated that I'd need an id for the other. I have no problem at all with needing an ID. What I had a problem with was the way I was treated. They were cold, rude and inconsiderate. They seemed to have gone out of their way to make me feel like a criminal. Would it have been so hard, knowing my wife just had surgery (which I stated several times) to be a little sympathetic or at the very least, not jerks? read more
