We ordered a chicken salad melt and a hot pastrami sub. Side note - the staff looked at us like we were aliens when we asked for a chicken salad melt (as opposed to a tuna melt). Despite FOUR women working there, it took so long to make these sandwiches that my family tried getting me to leave and forget about the sandwiches. It was almost 2:00 and I was starving so I waited it out. When we got back and ate our sandwiches, they weren't even that good. Definitely not worth the price. To add insult to injury, there was no cheese on the melt. Avoid this place at all costs.

Despite it essentially being a gas station, this Maplefields is different. The inside feels almost artisanal, with its brick walls and strong selection of local products. If you're into Vermont craft beer, Maplefields has a great selection. I needed coffee and this Maplefields had the most impressive selection of Green Mountain Coffee I've seen anywhere. This includes all the flavors you can't find in grocery stores. Overall I was really impressed and I would not just consider this Maplefields to be your average gas station/convenience store.

Yep... broken water pump and overheating... Mind you, this GMC 2018 Sierra (fully paid off)... has gotten me completely cross country back in October, 2024... with no issues, not even a scratch... Vehicle is towed to Bob's Service Center at 10 am that day... Not Bob, but Josh... "Let's see, water pump, coolant and belt tensioner assembly need replacing... it'll be ready by two..." Josh was right on schedule... Professional, thorough, and kind... Picked up the vehicle... warranted work for 2 years/24,000 miles... back on the freeway I went... only a few hours delay... but no matter... the vehicle must be reliable... It was... Coldest day in White River Junction... This driver and owner will seek these gentlemen out for future auto repairs... they are simply the best... And kind... They explained everything... I do appreciate the thoughtful and thorough approach... A cold day driving with a vehicle failure... could have been made much more difficult... but it was not... it was a beautiful day... I think the name on her tag was Shaline i could be wrong. I should also note that she didnt even say hello and didnt ask me if i had exxon mobile rewards. Unbelievable!
