The atmosphere of the salon itself is a little run down, but ultimately homey and comfortable. There is always music playing and someone laughing from the front room. I would love to see them renovate or move into a more updated space because honestly the people and the quality of the work are excellent. I will definiely be back, even on a full price day.

Soooo about my service, Tasha came and got me right away. She was kind and genuine. We chatted during my service. She helped me pick a color and was very affirming. I made an appointment the day before which was super easy. They patiently explained the differences in pedicure types and service process. I selected Statement Pedicure ($60) with gel add-on and removal ($15). I received luxury add-on free - lip mask. I selected colors from an old school book but screen try-one are also an option. I went with tried and true OPI but other options/brands are available. I love the pedicure area that includes privacy dividers and curtains. If you're doing pedicure solo, you can be separated from other guests. If you're visiting with the group, the curtain can be lifted. It creates a very relaxing experience. I asked for tea (quite a few choices) and my tea magically appeared at my chair when I arrived. The chair rotates to let you easily climb in, has gentle massage and heat. Gel removal starts with cute plastic clip-ons for quicker removal. You are asked about shaping and the number of coats. I liked my nail tech and her preciseness. Plan for a bit extra time (over an hour) if you're planning to take gel off and reapply gel. I feel like other salons have more masks as part of the pedicure service, but I was satisfied here. SERVICE: I'd love to add a few other reasons I love Statement. I recently called in to move up my appointment to an earlier time the day of. They easily switched me which seemed like a miracle. I went to see Melanie and she gave me the prettiest highlights that I have ever had. She has an amazing eye. She picked the perfect golden color for me. Then she weaved the highlights in so expertly that nobody has even noticed that I had highlights done at all! This is big for me. Very important. I like that it looks natural. She also gave me the exact cut that I asked for, and lots of advice on growing longer and stronger hair. There is no way that I am going back to my LA salon... I feel that I will look and feel better if I just wait until my next trip to Cleveland to get my hair done at Sisu. I like all of the staff that I have met.
