This small town coffee shop is a gem! Delicious homemade pastries and breakfast sandwiches: lemon blueberry scone, chocolate strawberry scone, lemon cake, blackberry cream turnover, brownie. The staff was helpful and made us yummy coffee and tea. I would highly recommend to anyone in town!

Ordered a cake two weeks in advance. Was called two days before it was to be picked up with no…read moreinformation about the cake. I explained it again and set a time for pick up the next morning. Jana called that morning to postpone my pickup time from 11am to 5pm. I showed up to pick it up and she wouldn't answer the phone or door. Finally at 5pm she answered the phone and told me the cake wasn't ready. She blamed it on family issues but I got my own too. What a disappointment. Be careful if you order from her.

She said the 4th layer didn't make it whatever that means. It was not even done when they arrived. They were putting it together in a back room. The icing was not put on thick enough and It was nothing like what was ordered. The cake was dry. The cupcakes were all chocolate-not the 3 special flavors that was ordered and paid for. The icing tasted like it came out of a Duncan Hines can. The grooms cake looked like a hot mess and stuff just thrown on it and part of it not covered with icing. Needless to say this lady should NOT be doing cakes. So unprofessional, disorganized and seems to always have personal matters. She even met with the wedding party 4 times before the wedding. Like who is DRUNK and has an obligation to provide a service to people. Even the venue people couldn't believe it.

What a wonderful place to enjoy fresh, homemade baked goods!…read more We stopped by to try their famous cinnamon rolls, and they were absolutely incredible. Soft, fresh, and packed with flavor, easily some of the best we've ever had. We also picked up some locally made jam and homemade lemonade, and both were delicious. One of my favorite things about this place is that it's family-owned. You can even see the kids helping their parents, greeting customers, packing orders, and being part of the whole experience. It gives the bakery such a warm and genuine feel that you just don't find very often anymore. Such a lovely experience with a cozy atmosphere. Definately recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

The moment I walked inside, I felt like I had stepped back into my childhood. I grew up in another country, and this place reminded me of the small village stores I remember from years ago. It brought back a lot of good memories. Everything here feels homemade. Not "homestyle" as a marketing slogan, but actually homemade. You can tell people take pride in what they make. We tried the cinnamon rolls, a couple of fried pies, fresh lemonade, and later took home some jam as well. The cherry fried pie was probably my favorite, and the cinnamon roll was incredibly soft and fresh. Nothing tasted mass-produced. One thing I really appreciated was the atmosphere. No rush, no pressure, just friendly people doing their work. The kids working at the register were polite, explained everything we asked about, and made us feel welcome. We spent about $19 for everything we bought, which felt fair considering the quality and the fact that almost everything is made from scratch. If you're driving through this part of Missouri, I'd definitely recommend stopping here. It's not just a bakery--it's one of those places that reminds you what homemade food is supposed to taste like. I'll gladly stop again the next time I'm passing through.

First and foremost, the deli here is nothing short of amazing. I always get the BLT, and it never disappoints. The bacon tastes incredibly fresh, and the produce on it is just as fresh. I also love to add their jalapeño cheddar cheese--so flavorful! A few jalapeños for an extra kick, and it's perfect. Another highlight for me is the bakery. The service is great and their banana bread is one of my absolute favorites--moist, tasty, and often fresh out of the oven. This market has so much to offer: * Fresh produce * Bagged candy, all packaged neatly with an Amish-style retail vibe * A variety of unique items to explore Next door, there's even a plant shop with a beautiful selection of plants, adding to the charm of this spot. The parking lot is huge, making it easy to stop by. It's handicap accessible, so there's nothing to worry about when it comes to accessibility. All in all, this place is a gem, and I truly love stopping by every chance I get!

Peanut butter pie was so good! The peanut butter part was light and creamy and the crust is always good in their pies! They're all always very nice, friendly and helpful, and I just love going in there. I wasn't sure if the deli would be open when I got there at 8:30, but they open at 8 with the store, so I was very happy about that.
