Trash manager. Always "forgets" to log my check ins. So I usually have to wait until the weekend girl in the late afternoon is there, she's the only helpful and kind one there. Hope not but Next time I will go somewhere else. Just went in to make a payment and seems like they pissed off the only good customer service agent they had. Oh god,where do I start. If I could give this place no stars I would ! Me,and multiple family members have called here trying to receive information on our loved one's bond, any way we can get a reduction of any sort or any help in general !and NOTHING is done. All we get is rude and mean responses. If yall don't want money and a running business , just say that.point blank period. Money is money. Customer service is definitely needed, more training, everything. They're definitely asking for trouble with their attitude over the phone. In person I bet it's a WHOLEEE different story ! This place needs more work,better employees, more ethics in the workplace such as respect,empathy,discipline and ALOT of accountability. Horrible experience overall. read more

2023...I had to go through something that unfortunately had required a bail bondsman for a misdemeanor. My wife went with River City Bonds and from the start they have been a headache from the beginning. When you are released you are supposed to report and fill out some documents no big deal. We live a little over an hour away it was a Monday morning that I was released my wife and I had to return to our city for work. River City bail bonds had no one in the office and the doors were locked. When we had let them know about the situation they initially said well that isn't our fault. After having a phone conversation they emailed the documents I needed to fill out and it was settled. My bond amount 2,500 misdemeanor citation they want you to report every week to keep tabs on you. I understand that bail bonds put up the money for me in good faith, but to me it seems over the top to request a weekly check in. It's not a felony the bond was a low amount, I mean it's a class C Misdemeanor. If I had known that River City Bail was going to be this much of a hassle I would have just proceeded with the PR Bond that I was approved for. I highly recommend finding another bail bonds to handle your bail. This company will harass then treat you like a hard core criminal. When you try and stand up for yourself the staff (Leslie) changes their attitude to condescending and sarcastic. Avoid this bail bond company at all costs there are plenty of bail bonds that will treat you with decency, respect and without judgement. read more

I had called over 20 bail bonds spots trying to post bail in full only to be talked down on , rudely treated , dismissed & mistreated by every other bonds office in San Antonio. The bail I was posting was 10k & I was told by everyone I called I needed to be a home owner to post bond. Now I'm not a home owner but I had bond in full $1000 & I'm employed. When I initially called to post a bond for someone the LADY i spoke qith at 2 A.M. was sweer and helpful. I gave her the payment info for $420.00 but due to the fact that Bexar County is so slow to update inmate status, his bail hand already been posted thru another bonds company. The lady called me back said, "aNo worries we will refund your money on Monday. I waant worried. Untill Monday comes and i talk to the Owner Mr. Embry. He said they were returning 380.00 I said, "i paid 420.00" he wanted to give me thr run around talking about fees and the time they tale to go up to country and pay bond needs to be compensated. I explained it was not my fault Bexar County doesnt update their systems so why am i being penalized. He didnt like my questions ao he hung up on me. I called back he made a quick comment and said without thinking, and I quote, "I'm trying to help you but youre being a b----, uh hard to deal with..." I said "You were about to call me a bit*h!" To summarize i never raised my voice called bim names or disrespected them.I onpy asked questions and clarification on their policies which were never explqined to me, given to me on paper or signed on anything so my fault for being inquisitive. Id never use this seevice again for God's sake thw owner hung up on me twice! Sad. read more
