TLDR: Excellent, professional, timely service. Hire these guys. I'd been trying to deal with small nests of paper wasps and hornets in the eaves of my back porch. These little b******s would dive bomb me like Japanese Zeroes trying to torpedo the Enterprise, keeping me from using my grill! Finally, I put in a request for quotes on Yelp. X-Out got back first, within 5 minutes and gave me a competitive price. A couple of text messages and they scheduled me for the following morning. Nice! On the day of the appointment, Issacs gave me a courtesy call about 20 minutes before arriving. He was extremely professional and courteous, and took his time determining the best solution to my problem. I watched from a safe distance while he went to work; even without a helmet he was fearless and smacked down four exiting wasps without even blinking! He also surveyed the house exterior for possible entry points and sprayed where we thought extra coverage might be needed. X-Out says they will return in 7 days for a follow-up and there's a free call-back service for 30 days from spraying. Prompt, courteous, easy to book with, and effective? Used them before and they originally were great, but then they started to no show for appointments multiple times due to signing only 1 contract and not 4, and then began openly spamming me nonstop with emails and phone calls. They would schedule appointments without even confirming them with us, upsetting our rental customers, and were difficult to get ahold of to adjust any prescheduled appointments. We then had to deal with TJ. TJ harassed us, calling back to back if I didn't pick up and ignoring our texts asking that he just please text us. When we picked up TJ sounded high, and even referred to me as "dude", while calling me repeatedly despite me declining the call, making think we had an emergency with one of our customers. The owner Heath is trying to come up with excuses, but wasn't on the call. Nobody yelled at TJ. We told TJ to stop calling us repeatedly if we didn't pick up like a jilted ex girlfriend, and to please text us instead. Also, we had signed up for autopay and get about 3,000 emails a day. TJ was especially rude, condescending, and just about the worst person we have ever had to deal with. The fact that Heath is okay with it is telling. I sent a request late Tuesday night for a general pest spray because I've seen two scorpions and countless other bugs since moving into my rental not too long ago. The home had been vacant almost three months so there were plenty of bugs crawling around. I received a very detailed message almost instantly to schedule a spray with the pricing. I agreed to the terms and it was set up for the following morning. I was contacted about 30 minutes before Tyler arrived and was notified that I was the next stop. We originally called X Out for flea treatment, and their response time was fast. Our tech, Josh L, was thorough and provided excellent service. I haven't seen any fleas since treatment! We ended up canceling our contract with Orkin and signed up for quarterly service with X Out. As of March 2024, X Out's quarterly service is cheaper than Orkin's bi-monthly service. With X Out's quarterly service, they will come out for a follow-up visit at no extra charge if the pest issue still isn't resolved. Our pest issues seem to be under control after our first quarterly service. I haven't seen any ants inside or crawling up the foundation. So far, so good! read more
