I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and concern regarding my recent experiences at your office. While I sought chiropractic care to address my specific health needs, my visits left me feeling frustrated, disrespected, and dissatisfied with the overall service and communication. First, I was uncomfortable with repeated mentions of Christianity during the visit. While I understand and respect individual beliefs, such discussions felt unrelated to my care and out of place in a professional healthcare setting. When I expressed discomfort and asked to focus on subluxations and their physiological impacts, I was told to "respect his beliefs" and was encouraged to either discuss this further privately or seek care elsewhere. This response left me feeling unheard and dismissed as a patient. Additionally, the seminar I was required to attend included comments that I found unprofessional and inappropriate. For example, at the beginning of the seminar, Dr. C stated, "If you're looking for pain relief and a good night's sleep, you should just pop a Benadryl and go get yourself a bottle of alcohol because I'm not here just to give you a quick pop and some pain relief." While I understand the analogy, I felt it was poorly timed and set an unprofessional tone for the seminar. Following the seminar, I was placed into an individual room, where I waited for about 10 to 15 minutes without anyone coming in. This lack of attention, especially after a long day at work, added to my frustration. I arrived at 5 PM, sat through an hour-long seminar until 6 PM, and then waited without receiving the care I came for. I also want to address a concern from the prior week: despite having paid for three chiropractic adjustments, I only received two. One of the adjustments was supposed to be included with the consultation and seminar I attended, but I did not receive it. This discrepancy left me feeling dissatisfied with the scheduling and communication regarding services. Furthermore, during my previous two appointments, the doctor was consistently late by 5 to 10 minutes despite my appointments being scheduled for specific times. While I understand occasional delays, this consistent lateness felt disrespectful of my time. I am providing this feedback with the hope that it can help improve your practice and patient care. I value chiropractic care and believe it plays an important role in health, but I felt my experience fell short of professional expectations. read more

Dr. Moger and his team are fantastic. They have brought great relief to my wife and I's life. Dealing with a herniated disc and my wife's TMJ, we thought we were just going to be addicted to pain killers for the rest of our lives. Dr. Moger has a gift and was definitely meant to be a chiropractor. Pricing is in budget for not accepting insurance. Dr Ken (Mojer) I believe has saved my life. In 2006 I was only about 51 and my lower back hurt so badly that I could not walk on a hard surface for any distance at all. I did not believe in chiropractors- thought they were "quacks". I was wrong . Dr Ken took X-rays and performed basic balance and distribution tests on me. All very medically sound. The problem was originating from my neck. It had fused itself. I never knew. It took a plan of scheduled appts for 6 months. My neck is free and my back does not hurt at all. I jog every other day. But the bugger picture is avoiding SUBLUXATION which will not allow your own brain to heal your own body. Look it up. I am a total believer. RRC is the best. Get adjusted and a life education as well they give classes on subluxation; inflammation; healthy cooking; and many more topics. The goal is a healthy active life. read more

Here's my bottom line, my daughter was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in 2006. Because of the healthy life changes that RCC teaches and assists you with, we had extra time with her. We have learned so much about healing, health and strength from the staff that we know how to improve our quality of life very deliberately. Dr. Ken and his staff have helped us to enjoy our life at 50+ and only a part of that is the chiropractic health they provide. These folks are truly working for their clients and even if the costs seem high to some, I will personally testify to the results they get. I don't know many doctors who care for their patients the way Ken Moger and his wonderful staff does. (Honest I'm not related to anyone working there nor am I being paid for a testimony.) It's 2017 so I feel that RCC needs a new review :) I went to see Dr. Ken Moger because I have numbness in my right fingers. I have seen several Chiropractors in the area. It's not easy to find a good Chiropractor who has all the right stuff to get the job done. Dr. Ken is professional, kind and caring with a sense of humor. He has made adjustments to my neck & spine that other Chiropractors have not previously done. Dr. Ken doesn't simply crack my neck the exact same way every visit. He's making different adjustments to get to the root of my issues. I've only had a few visits, so the original issue (numbness) is currently still there. I have been to a lot of chiropractors over the years for various issues, but River City Chiropractic is the only one that offered whole body wellness. Their focus is on healing the body, not just treating the pain, though they certainly do that too. Doctor Moger is skilled at getting to the heart of a problem and was able to bring long term relief when I threw out my back. He and his staff also taught me exercises and stretches, along with some suggested life changes to reduce the possibility of it happening again. I highly recommend this office. I initially came to river city because of what I call a "kink in my neck" that wouldn't go away. I saw both dr Jeff and dr Ken. I was happy with my the service. I came back again after an auto accident and followed a more regular plan. I have had great results in both my recovery and my headaches. I've always had headaches more than others in my immediate circle of family and friends. When I regularly see dr ken I get less headaches and migraines. I have seen several chiros in my life and dr ken is now easily my favorite. I would recommend him. read more

I came to this office while on vacation from Hawaii. The staff is soooo helpful/ nice. The office is very clean. Doctor Ken is the bombs! I was having really bad back pain/aches and pains from being 6 months pregnant and he made me feel 110%!!! The front desk Lady Shylia especially is a gem! I was very un happy with my experience here. This place will treat you like a factory line, but they also make you wait a long time. There have been times Ive waited for a long time and had to leave before I even had my adjustment since i had to be somewhere and it was taking to long. Im sure I also got charged for those "visits" since I checked in. They will lead you to believe in the beginning that your insurance will cover it, but thats just to get you in. They are NOT your typical neck-crackers-after-a-car-accident-referred-by-your-insurance-company crooks. I wanted to try this chiropractor because they are Christian. I brought my husband with me and I am glad I did. He knows about sales, in fact the military trained him in sales. This place was a total sales pitch! The first person who talks to you just tells you why you might need a chiropractor. Than the doctor comes in and tells you he wants to test you. All of this takes 30 minutes. These are all sales strategies. I was honest with the chiropractor and told him I felt like this was all a sales pitch. He claimed it was education, but was so polite I almost trusted him. Than the girl came back rude and curt asking me if I wanted to "move on or what?". Basically she lost her sale and was upset. I still don't understand how they say it was moving on when they had yet to have done anything. Also the questions/paperwork they have you fill out are all just ways to key in to your yearnings and better sell to you. I find it odd how the kind considerate demeanor in he sales rep, I mean associate doctor, changed when she realized I wasn't going to buy. I would stay away. Anytime a place spends so much time trying to convince you that you need something it means you probably don't need it. Honestly, I really believed I needed that timeshare.
