Stopped in for Sunday lunch. Decided to try it on recommendations from people in the area. Plus, some of the pictures and menus suggested it was a good burger place. Apparently I should have investigated more to realize it's buffet only on Sunday's. I'm not really a buffet fan and never eat enough to justify the per-person cost, which is the main reason for my lower than normal rating. The service is friendly and the dining area is fine, has the market next door which is a nice bonus. There is a small salad bar and the buffet line has a handful of proteins and about the same amount of sides and a few desert options. The chicken had really nice flavor and was tender and moist. If you like buffets and can eat some large portions, this is probably a good spot. Just not the best spot for me. read more

Updating to remove Aunt E's Menus. The place has been transformed into a a really inviting atmosphere. They put a lot of work into it. The food changed too but not for the better. Seems like a new cook - the biscuits don't hold up to the gravy if you know what I mean and I ask for my eggs over medium and they still had clear whites in parts -might as well have been raw. Food and Service was great with a small town hospitality feel. Most everything is homemade and made with pride. The taste was exceptional. The service was amazing! Everyone greeted us so warmly and the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The food was delicious! Everything we got was amazing. The lunch buffet was so good. A few of our favorites were the fried chicken, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, home fries, soft rolls...okay all of it. The salad bar and desserts were great also, there were homemade pickles and croutons on the salad bar! Do yourself a favor and stop by, you will not be sorry! The prices are fantastic and there is even a little store attached with Blue Bell ice cream and all sorts of other goodies. read more

Stopped in after seeing a billboard on our way through Andalusia. It's attached to a small general store/market. Service was very friendly. You could choose from the buffet of fried chicken and southern sides, or order off the menu. We chose the menu and all got BLTs. They were very generous portions on thick-cut Texas toast that had been grilled. Bacon was crisp and delicious. Only (minor) gripe was that the lettuce was from one of those salad mixes - you could tell because there were a few pieces of carrot and purple cabbage mixed in - but it was fine. Best part was the side of fried green tomatoes, which I can honestly say were the best I've ever eaten. The batter was flavorful and peppery. My daughter got breakfast potatoes with hers and they were freshly cooked and tasty, obviously not reheated frozen potatoes. The atmosphere is down-to-earth and feels like a small town diner; it's the kind of place where they play contemporary Christian music on the radio and the servers call you honey. Straight out of a Sean of the South column. They seemed a bit short on help clearing tables, but the staff were still very attentive. Definitely would stop in again. read more

Not open for breakfast, we were disappoint after driving to River Falls. Yelp said open for breakfast!!

The food was excellent, my wife had a simple cheeseburger and I had a turkey club. I strongly recommend this place. The service was top-notch. The server was right there without covering. The place reminded me of a baby cracker barrel. read more

what are the set hours? we waited 1.5 hrs today bc nowhere did it say they changed hours from 7am to 10 AM. and Noone told us they were only serving breakfast after waiting all that time.employees were very nice, but the bossy lady seemed mean to employees. I felt bad for them. there's no organization, no structure like set times. online it say "all day buffet " that wasn't true either. We were waiting with 4,6yr old daughters. We stopped in for breakfast. Not very crowded. Waited an hour to get our food. Steak was so tough you could hardly cut it with a knife and it had no flavor. Eggs were extremely greasy. Sent food back and left. So after wasting an hour we are both still hungry looking for a place to eat. read more
