We've eaten at some great and some horrible breakfast places. Both of our entrees were really good. I had the crepes and the crepes were thick enough that they didn't fall apart, with fresh blueberries and lots of them and like a massive amount of whipped cream covering them. No syrup needed. Hubby had the biscuits and gravy with poached eggs. He said it was a unique take on a normal dish and it was flavorful. He said it was very yummy, lol. I also had a side of crispy bacon. The server was super friendly, like she treated us like family friendly. It was so refreshing. Prices were reasonable. Definitely give them a try. read more

This place is gross. Food is for the old folks on a break from the home. Don't waste the money. Go to Scotty's for some good food.

You would never guess this place was hoppin because it's in the middle of nowhere in an abandoned strip mall. But as soon as you walk in, you realize the entire town is here! We arrived at 10:30am on a Sunday, and it was full up except for a few tables in the center (along the walls there are booths) and we got one by the door. Bad idea. Every time someone came in we'd feel the chilly air and since there was no place to put the line of waiting diners, they all congregated around us. It was very loud, but expected. It's a family restaurant after all, and a popular one at that. And for good reason! The food was great. Hot, fresh and delicious. We got the Country Omelette (ham, sausage, jack cheese and onions) with AMAZING hash browns, one pancake (crispy edges!), cherry blintzes (crepes) and corned beef hash with a couple of fried eggs and toast. Every thing was very good, waitress was friendly and food was delivered quickly. Will definitely be back during a less busy time, perhaps earlier in the day. read more

Solid place! I've yet to have a bad meal here. The only thing that bums me out is that they're no longer open for dinner. They have fantastic Benedict offerings and I love the Florentine option. We stopped coming back from Jefferson based on the reviews and we agree with the positive ones! Not "riverside" so much but you can see it! Most menu items are very good! Breakfast is great! We had the skillets, omelette and chicken strips. All good! read more

Service was lackluster. Food was okay. Coffee was bland. My water cup was dirty. Bill was average . Overall nothing to write home about.

Very clean place with a friendly and attentive staff. The prices are quite good. I had a "turtle" waffle. The pecans were baked inside the waffle then chocolate and whipped cream on top. I think caramel sauce was also an option. Coffee kept topped off. Would definitely stop here again. read more

We were visiting Alpine Valley and stayed in Ft. Atkinson. We chose this hole in the wall place after searching for breakfast online. We were seated immediately, served drinks immediately, and the order was taken very quickly. The food was out in very little time. I got a California Veggie Omelet which I found to be really great. It was served with hash browns. The misses got a half order of biscuit and gravy. She thought the biscuits and gravy was a bit floury and bland, but not so bad they should was disappointed. Wow. I'm glad I looked at Yelp once again. Small place in a strip mall that I would easily pass by. I'm always a little nervous when the menu has a wide variety of different types of food. This is no gourmet venue but for a small family restaurant it does well. I took my chances on veal parmigiana and was not let down. Service was prompt, food came fast, nice portion, good flavor and the bill was remarkably low priced. With over 20% tip it was still under $14. Unheard of. read more

Very pleasant atmosphere, great service and good food. The only downside for the place is it sits in a shopping center ghost town. They are the only survivors. We hesitated going in just because it looks shabby on the outside, as did the deserted strip mall it sits in. Too bad for them. There were several cars out front so we took a chance. Stopped in for lunch today and had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and was impressed. The chicken had a great crust and good flavor, and the gravy had a nice hint of Mediterranean spices.
