They let us have a meal with her before she moved in. We can pay to eat other meals with her. We can also reserve a dining, kitchen, movie or meeting room. They have a business center with computers and printers, a fully stocked library with books and games, a communal kitchen, chapel, laundry rooms, and great dining room with table service or buffet meals. It's not very close to any of her siblings, but it's a nice community. They recommended a local florist who delivered beautiful flowers and even treats! When the covid-19 crisis hit, they were very careful with cleanliness. It was heartbreaking to not be able to celebrate my sister's 75th birthday with her, but they made it special for her.

We are a "Type 2" facility and as such we are equipped to provide the best and highest level of care in Utah. This is a luxury home that has been totally remodeled from top to bottom in order to accommodate seniors in a safe and luxurious home setting with all the functionality of a large scale assisted living. The home is equipped with an elevator and ADA compatible living quarters. Each room has a bathroom that is handicap accessible and is set up with a call system to summon help if needed. The home is monitored for emergency services and has video surveillance and security. The home has a new sprinkling system throughout and has emergency equipment on each floor. Our shower facilities are equipped with the space for assisted showering and safety care. We are concerned about the great folks who will be living there and each tenant will be given a personal pager for any assistance that they may require. We have an incredible staff! Our administrator is the same woman that took care of my grandparents George and Olive Osmond when they were in need of assisted living a few years ago. Her name is Teresa Covington and she is passionate about caring for the elderly. She and her staff live in a house on site and will be available 24 hours a day! Also, as a type 2 facility in Utah, all of our staff members are Certified Nurses Assistants. These CNAs will be trained and ready to meet all the requirements your loved ones may have. Our home is in a luxurious neighborhood that has some of the nicest and kindest people on the planet living there. Sunday services are provided every week and there will be plenty of entertainment with the Osmond family living near by. We will visit often and our family and some of our extended family will be on hand to perform on a weekly basis for your loved ones entertainment. There will be many activities here at Osmond Senior Living. We will make sure that your loved one will be active and healthy as possible. We will have a theatre area, a hair and nail salon area, and many other fun and helpful amenities here. There is a very large deck off the back and a patio to the side of the home. We have a pond and waterfall feature. The home is fenced and the property is protected. We encourage family members to come and eat with your loved one at the home. How can the owner of this establishment give himself a 5 star rating? Why when I posted a review…read moreon Friday was it moved to a second page? Since my father was removed from the facility he is now covered in blood/bruises and has a knot on his head from the fall. He went in there with not a scratch on his body and walking; now he has to be pushed in a wheelchair because he is in so much pain. The hospital in Alpine has called twice since he was discharged from the ER but the Osmond Senior Living facility has never called to check up on him. After getting additional facts I understand that there was nobody in the room when my father fell, he was placed in a recliner and left by himself. How can you call that "care"? Also the nurse was very rude and demanded that my father be removed from the facility because they couldn't take care of him? Why did they accept him in the first place, and it wasn't the first time he was there. This seems to be a case of neglect and the Osmond Senior Living Center is trying to make this go away. One concerned phone call from them would have gone a long way. It wouldn't stop the pain and suffering that my father is now feeling or the additional work it will be to nurse him back to his previous health status. I am reposting my original review in hopes that Jared O. reads that the facility has some problems that need to be addressed. Perhaps some additional staff to look after dementia patients and to block the stairs so that patients can't wander away and fall down them. That is another huge problem in my opinion. D. Pallas 6/20/2014 My father was there for respite care. On the second day he was found trying to go down the steps from the second floor. He is a dementia patient who should have never been placed on the second floor near stairs. A staff member then put him in a chair and went to the first floor. Luckily my sister happened to be there dropping off something when she heard a loud thud. That was my father falling to the floor from the chair. Apparently nobody stays with these dementia patients which is very neglectful. To make matters worse when my sister went to see what had happened realizing it was my father she was shocked at the lack of oversight. The Administrator (who is a CNA) then told my sister that they could no longer take care of my father and to take him home immediately with her. He insisted that she pay the daily fee even though it was still early in the day. So in the mist of trying to look at my father to see if he was injured and crying while trying to pack his stuff they demand a check. We have an aide that comes 3 days a week to bath my father and she reported to us that in the morning when she got there my father was laying in a wet bed because his catheter was blocked due to lack of irrigation the night before. My sister is now in the hospital getting my father x-rayed to see if there are any broken bones. He has multiple bandages on his arms and a bruise above his eye that were not there the day that he entered into the facility. I have worked 17 yrs in health care and can't believe that this type of Level II Care is acceptable to people in Utah. I wouldn't want anyone I loved to be placed there even overnight. How appalling!!! Worst care I have ever heard of. This place did not call us to see how he was when my sister took him home. They only care about the money I guess. Shame on them.

Prior to finding Visiting Angels, I was so stressed that I would not be able to find help for my mother..but when I contacted them, they came through with flying colors. Scott was INCREDIBLE at helping..he literally brought me to tears with his compassion! Both he and his office manager, Rebekah, were so very WONDERFUL. They were quick at addressing certain situations that needed their attention..and I can't say enough good about them!!! You can feel safe in their hands that they truly care about your needs in wanting your loved one to be watched over in a professional, kind, and helpful manner :-)

My mom lived at Bellaview in Lehi for nearly 26 months. Writing this review is incredibly difficult…read morebecause while there were many things we truly loved, there were also serious issues that left me deeply frustrated and hurt. I believe families deserve to know both. First, I want to recognize the CNAs. We became very close to several of them and truly consider them family. They were kind, compassionate, dedicated, funny, supportive, patient, and smart. Being a CNA is one of the hardest jobs there is. They work long hours, aren't paid nearly enough, and often endure verbal abuse from residents, yet continue to show kindness every day. There's a saying that a facility is only as good as its CNAs, and I completely agree. They are the heart of Bellaview. The facility is beautiful, welcoming, and well maintained. From the moment you walk in, there's a calm atmosphere. The central gathering area is wonderful for visiting and enjoying musical performances, which my mom loved. The food was hit or miss. My mom and many of her friends felt the same way. I know it's impossible to please everyone's tastes, so I don't view that as a major criticism. Bellaview also offered a wide variety of activities. The activity director was exceptional. She organized wonderful events and transformed the building for every season and holiday with beautiful decorations. Residents, families, and staff were all shocked when she was let go. One concern was the amount of turnover. We expected some turnover among CNAs because that's common in healthcare. What surprised us was the turnover in leadership and key positions, including the care coordinator, cook, nurse, marketing director, activity director, and administrator. The biggest weakness I experienced at Bellaview was communication. It wasn't an isolated issue. Throughout my mom's stay, there were repeated breakdowns between the care coordinator, nurse, administrator, and frontline staff. My brother and I visited daily, so we could usually catch problems and advocate for my mom. It made me wonder how residents without family nearby were getting the care they needed. It pains me to say this, but I was deeply hurt by my mom's end-of-life care. I stayed with her 24 hours a day during her final days and learned firsthand how important it is to have an advocate. One night, despite repeated efforts, we were unable to get my mom the morphine prescribed through hospice. Before that night, I made sure the hospice nurse, Bellaview staff, and administrator had everything entered into the electronic medication system because communication had already been an ongoing issue. Yet when my mom desperately needed comfort medication, it wasn't available for the staff to administer. The CNAs were not at fault. They simply could not legally administer medication that wasn't properly documented. I repeatedly texted, emailed, and called the administrator and nurse that night, but I couldn't reach either of them. I even spent hours trying to find contact information for the owners but couldn't reach anyone. Watching my mom suffer while being unable to get help was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life. I stayed awake all night feeling helpless. When the next shift of CNAs arrived, I gave them an earful, but I also made it clear my frustration wasn't with them. They were doing everything they legally could. My frustration was with a system where no responsible decision-maker could be reached during an emergency, causing unnecessary suffering. No family should ever have to experience that. I genuinely hope Bellaview addresses its communication problems because I believe they are fixable. Despite the challenges we experienced, there are many positives, including its beautiful environment, exceptional CNAs, and strong sense of community. I don't write reviews lightly, and I don't enjoy writing negative ones. But families deserve an honest picture of both the strengths and weaknesses of a place where they may entrust the care of someone they love.
