The intake person told me I wasn't disabled enough to require home health care and a "more appropriate placement" should have been to a rehab facility. This by a nurse that knew nothing about me or my medical needs. She relented and assigned me a physical therapist and an OT. I saw the OT once, the physical therapist saw me 3-4 times for never longer than 6 minutes a time, and the RN took vitals 3-4 times in several weeks Of this"home health care regime". I'm sure Medicare was billed for many hours of care I never received! Pathetic response and service! I would never allow them to care for a pet dog let alone a loved one!

Neither one of us left home all day. NO CALLS on any phones. RN shows up 2 days after my discharge at 5:00 p.m. wearing such strong perfume that I could smell it the minute my husband opened the door. I was not close to the door, but she reeked! I have breathing problems (on oxygen), and my cat is on 2 inhalers for asthma. We have to keep a scent free home. She was not wearing scrubs or a dress that would be appropriate for a nursing visit. I am a RN who worked for a different home health agency. You never went to patient's home wearing perfume that smelled so strong and unpleasant. When I mentioned the very strong odor, she left and slammed the door. This RN needs an attitude adjustment and in-service on appropriate dress and how the strong odor of perfume can affect people. I need services ASAP, but I have asked to be referred to a more professional home health agency. I am giving a 1 star because the office worker contacted me the day I was discharged from the hospital and said my case would be opened the following day. It was not, due to the RN saying she couldn't reach me.

My mom often misses meals, the food quality is poor and never hot. Her room and her requests are completely neglected every weekend. I have brought these issues to the Director many times only to hear a laundry list of excuses with no action ever taken to fix anything. It is a cash cow with no intention of giving good care unless you feel like constantly contacting them and complaining. Don't expect anything else from this establishment.
