great place to live at and the current manager Miguel is really making the place look great!read more

Moved in approximately 6 months ago, renting a 1 bedroom for $600…read more Positives: Nice clean efficient units, cozy and functional. Central Air, you control temp. Close to many amenities, (Zillow rates the neighborhood as 76% walkable); A couple blocks to Sanguinetti Park, churches and schools, 2 blocks to grocery store (Frys), short walk to several restaurants and fast food. The bus stop is next to complex for southbound and just across the street for northbound . Good mix of young couples, singles and seniors. Families with children are positioned on the opposite side of the complex. A big PLUS for me was no bugs! I haven' t seen any; no spiders, no roaches, nada. Huge kudos to management for cleanliness. Negatives: A little noisy during early morning and evening, but, the complex is on a main thoroughfare and we're all getting ready for, or coming home from work or school. Mostly it's quiet except for the occasional splashing of the pool and after 7-8 pm it's totally peaceful. Summary: I first arrived in Yuma and was looking for a modest apartment. The ones viewed prior to Rainbow Apartments were unkempt and/or unsafe, not close to many stores and shops or just too expensive. Rainbow is gated and the grounds are tidy. The current manager Conrad and his staff are friendly and personable. If you're new to Yuma, spending the winter here or just want a new apartment, give Rainbow Apartments a try.

I spent my first 2 years in yuma at this apartment complex…read more Here is the lowdown. Grounds: Very nice... Oh man the grass is trimmed, The trees are groomed and there is very little trash around. The Apartments: Small, small and very small. For the price you pay you dont get very big apartments. I stayed in the one bed room 466 sq feet apartment. I was in apartment complex N which is near the office. The only problem with my place is I had an imprint of an iron on my carpet, and they had carpet in the bathroom. (Yuck!) The Parking: Plenty, but there is no assigned parking. Also a little tip. if you go to the northwest corner of El Encanto you can wash your car for free as they have a water hose for you there. Cost: Moderate to high. They have been increasing their cost over the last few years and now they are very prices for the little square feet you get. They are close to a major grocery store but I don't feel its location justifies its price. They don't have very strict requirements to get in so perhaps you pay for that. Support: Never had a problem. They are very picky on appearance so make sure you are aware that you cant keep things out on the porch or things like that. I had a box outside and they asked me to remove it. I guess I understand they are trying to make the place look nice... but perhaps they are a little too strict. The summary: Pro: Very nice looking outside. Location is good. Lots of parking. Con: Very strict on outside appearance, Rooms are small and prices are high.

Terrible. We lived there over a year. Staff tried, maintenance was good, parking was poor, and…read moregetting out of there onto a busy highway was abysmal, simply the place IS NOT WORTH IT. There are feral cats and seemingly feral children running around. Most everything was in poor condition. A little background: Yuma is a dump (and I have family from there). The YPG & Marine Air Base, along with the transient field workers and masses of snowbirds leave this city with NO ONE who wants to pay taxes to make the city better... so property is cheap and rent is high (because--again--no one really wants to live or stay in Yuma so rentals are in demand and waaaaay to expensive for the crappy town). NOISY, Paper-thin walls, traffic, dusty, pool is full of kids, not worth the money, MASSIVE speed bumps, need i say more?

Initially the office staff would not believe us until we had someone come in and show the roaches crawling all over the walls. They tried to exterminate, but we were never roach free. We kept all of our food in the fridge. Parking was another major issue. There are assigned spaces and the office records your vehicle information. One night it was dark and I parked one space over. 2 days later I discover my car was towed from the lot. Management claimed that despite having my car's make/model/license #, my apartment number, AND my phone number on file, they were unable to identify the car and towed it. They attributed this to not having a computer database for it. The towing company felt bad enough about the situation that they gave me a discount. 5 stars for them. Overall the apartment was dingy. The carpet was old and beige, doors and furniture had dents, gashes etc. The bathroom sink had so much rust that management agreed to replace it. We moved out in less than two months because it was extremely uncomfortable and management was not responsive to fixing many issues.
